RUSH: So the press secretary at the White House has put out a statement, and the person who sent me the statement says, “Oh, ho hum. This isn’t gonna matter a hill of beans. Whoopee-doo. Whoopee-doo. Wish it was true, but it’s not.” But it is! This statement from Sarah Sanders is the statement, but it is being overshadowed by a narrative. I actually got so damn frustrated watching even Fox News this morning. I’ve gotta be very careful; a lot of friends there. I’ll explain this in just a second.

I felt kind of sorry for Rush today--he can say very little about what he knows. I get the sense that with the narrative Comey is inventing, along with the tribal liars in Washington DC, comes the monumental task of AG Barr putting the truth out to be seen, a nuclear melt down like Chernobyl is an apt analogy.

Mueller has just tossed his hat in the ring to be a Democratic candidate running for President.
Why not, he’s the only one that might have something to say to all America!

I saw what I expected from Mueller. There is nothing more for Mueller to do or say but he got what he had wanted when Barr did the summary instead of letting Mueller do it. Mueller has nothing legal but he still wanted to spit in Trump's face. Today, as much as was possible, he did that. He resurrected his meaningless "did not exonerate" nonsense. He also clearly passed the mess off to Congress. He indicated that Congress, through impeachment, can do things that a criminal investigation cannot. In his haplessness, that's what Mueller wants to happen. Comey passed the baton to Mueller in the hopes of getting Trump. Mueller is passing it to Congress, which is unlikely to impeach and even less likely to convict. Mueller conveniently leaves off the detail that impeachment, while a political action, is supposed to be based on something, high CRIMES and misdemeanors. What crime? If dems trivially impeach Trump, that opens up a similar action by Republicans against a dem president. How low do dems want to set the bar of Congressional behavior?
Beyond all this, if Barr comes out with charges or further investigations against the Deep Staters, including possibly Mueller himself, the grounds for investigation of the president will become VERY unsafe for them. The public is slowly becoming aware that something bad happened with this whole Russian collusion baloney and probably years before it. All the Trump investigators' actions are tainted because of that.
Mueller got his last cheap shot in. Let's hope he chokes on it.

Wish I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say AG Barr and Mueller are good friends. If this is friendship, Mueller has a strange way of showing it. He continues to stab Trump in the back on his way out. I hope Barr recognizes Mueller's ploy and has the guts to go after these conspirators with everything he has.
Now I'm curious if any of the republicans on the Nadler Committee have the power to subpoena Mueller or do they need a sign off from Nadler?? There are a thousand questions Mueller needs to answer before the American people.

Trying to figure out what response # 2 was trying to say. Mueller as candidate would be about as impressive as J. Fking Kerry, and they look quite alike. Still, considering the competition to date, he could be a front runner.

The tangible disdain wafting from Mueller and his fellow democrat coup-mongers isn't for President Trump as much as it is for we who voted for him.
Reading CTH over the past week, we learn that the communist left in our midst has been spying on conservative politicians as far back as 2012, if not earlier. Mueller has had access to ill-gotten fruits of illegal domestic spying, yet he still could not come up with anything to hang on the president; consequently, Donald Trump must be among the least corrupt of presidents throughout the history of our country. Mueller has to know that, so his disgust must be for we who "robbed" the commies of their best chance to finish off what we know as the USA by voting for a non-swamper, who even in the world of big business, is more "clean" than our Obama-inspired federal law enforcement and intelligence communities.

My spidey-sense is telling me that PDT, nevertheless, now has the Dims just where he wants them. They are now divided into two camps - the deranged and the utterly deranged. Neither camp is in any way capable of making rational political decisions or executing clever strategic planning. PDT's move...

Since Herr Mueller refuses to show up at Jabba the Hut's inquisition, will Jabba arrest him by having 30 FBI agents swarm his place by land, sea and air? Enquiring minds want to know.

The only reason Mueller was giving his farewell speech was Barr was hired , otherwise he would still be there until 2020. It very obvious Barr & Mueller have 1000% different personalities . Mueller would have loved to have brought President Trump down but all the corruption was on the other side. The more Mueller investigated the worse the dems looked.

Rush used a mirage to describe the anticipation of Democrats waiting for the Mueller report to be their life-saving water because they’ve been disappointed so many times when they reach each mirage because it hasn’t been there. Today, RobertMueller “shows up in the desert with a giant hose and makes a giant lake of real water for them ... new hope, new speculation, one more opportunity to reach out and grasp the saving of their lives, the realization of that which they most desperately want.” What they got today was Mueller saying he has nothing to add beyond the report.
