Havana says it will extend the rationing of food and other products in the face of hardened US sanctions. The political and economic crisis in Venezuela is also partially to blame. The Cuban government will widen the wholesale rationing of staple food items and other basic products in the face of a grave supply crisis, Commerce Minister Betsy Diaz Velazquez said Friday. She said some items, such as chicken, would be limited to a fixed amount per purchase or per customer. Other items, including eggs, rice, beans and sausages, would only be available to buy with a ration card

You don´t have guess and debate what Socialism will bring. It is right there - Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea. Seems obvious to us. But the younger generation brainwashed by their Lefty teachers and professors, needs to be told - again and again.

The Cuban people ought to buy a clue from all the interaction with the Republic next door and rise up against the secret police that keep a dictatorship´s boot on their neck.

#2 it isn´t just young people who love socialism. Old folks love medicare but consider medicare for all to be socialism. I´m trying to figure the logic in that.

Chicken? They are running out of chicken! Anybody, even AOC could raise chickens - though I’m sure she’s never seen one

Crazy, that all goobermint has to do is leave the people alone and prosperity will break out. But Socialism is the nice word for enslavement of the workers for the benefit of the elites. That´s why they don´t do "Debates" or allow proponents of Liberty to speak.
The slavery of Blacks in the US caused most (many) of them to become resentful, lazy, and non-productive. They don´t need reparations as much as they need Boot-Camp.

Very interesting video in the article. Cubans say their queues are Venzuela’s fault. They send doctors and Venezuela sends Cuba oil which they resell for hard currency. Also Cubans in America are allowed to remit less money to their relatives (why any at all?). Cuba is the poison in Latin America’s veins.

#12, it´s not that complicated. Workers pay into the Medicare fund their entire working life, only in retirement can they get back some of that money. The statistical tables count on most of them dying before they get back the money they put in.
A ´medicare´ for ALL would simply break the bank or more likely restrict decent health care with the communist sham of EMT clinic care. Or you can simply wait them out like Britain does and then the ´free´ health care doesn´t have to be rationed out, the patient died waiting. What part confuses you?

Cuba has to import 60-70% of its food, according to the article. Why, in such a fertile land? Maybe Bernie and AOC can explain it.
