Ex-Capitol Police, security

Security officials testified Tuesday that they believe the Capitol riot on Jan. 6 was a "coordinated attack" as they were pressed by senators over the circumstances leading to the security failure. Former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, former Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger and former House Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving, as well as Metropolitan Police Department acting chief Robert Contee, appeared before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Tuesday, in the first Senate hearing to examine the "security failures" that led to the breach of the U.S. Capitol last month.

And yet, this testimony wasn’t deemed important enough for the House to hear before impeaching President Trump?

I'm not going to read, click bait, the article. FOX is digging their grave and I'm not going to stop them.... FTA: Security officials testified Tuesday that they believe the Capitol riot on Jan. 6 was a "coordinated attack" We all know it was a 'coordinated attack' and that Antifa (liberals) posed as MAGA members to infiltrate and incite. But, the posted paragraph is ambiguous at best. See, the media and all liberals are pushing the meme that the 'coordinated attack' was committed by MAGA members at the behest of President Trump. So, when FOX says, it was a 'coordinated attack', it's up to the reader to decide where to lay blame. Unless the poster left the information out and the article clearly states 'WHO coordinated the attack' the committee hearing is (as SCOTUS puts it) Moot. It's only done to be included in the email asking for donations, 'because we're doing something.'

It seemed to me that there was a lot of bureaucratic responsibility shuffling going on when I was watching the hearing, in that respect the bureaucratic chain of command appeared to be so long and disjointed that the National Guard response did not happen until long after the riot was long over. There is no doubt that the powers at be at the Capitol knew that a massive protest was scheduled for DC and on the Mall between the US Capitol building and the White House on June 6th, and that based upon all the law enforcement experiences with the riots that had previously occurred in DC and across the country since the Summer of 2020, that there were bound to be fringe and potentially violent groups who would seek to infiltrate the main law abiding mass of protestors and instigate a violent riot or disturbances. Based upon all that, common sense will tell you that days before June 6th the highest level politician in the Capitol building who was ultimately responsible for the physical security of the Capitol building, and that would be Nancy Pelosi, if she was on the up and up should have ensured that the Capitol Police were properly reinforced so that the Capitol building would remain secure. Obviously that did not happen. Not surprisingly we did not hear anything about Pelosi or that responsibility during that hearing this morning, but we did hear Democrat Senator Padilla try to put the blame on Trump because he was the Commander in Chief.

The biggest beneficiary of the event was the dimokrap party. They were immediately ready to use it as a pretext to censor and punish their enemies. Why wouldn't I believe that the biggest beneficiary engineered it? I saw the 2016 videos of the dim operative telling the Veritas team that his goal was to create violence at Trump rallies to discredit Trump.

In 2012, Attorney General Eric Holder appeared before at Northwestern University Law School to announce President Obama’s “kill list” policy, under which he reserved the right to unilaterally order the death of any American deemed an imminent threat. After all, Holder explained, “the Constitution guarantees due process, not judicial process.” The response was as chilling as the message: The audience of judges, lawyers and law students applauded an attorney general who just told them that any of them could be killed tomorrow on the president’s order. Some of us denounced the "kill list" policy, which foreshadowed what has become a campaign against due process.

"When we see these executive orders coming out of the White House that not only impact a resource-based state like Alaska, but actually call us out by name," she told Haaland during her confirmation hearing Tuesday. "We're one of only two states in the nation that were specifically targeted by President Biden's Day One executive order," Murkowski said.

William F. Buckley was one of the great conservatives of the 20th century — a voice that articulated, remarkably well, the values of conservatism. As he declared about the magazine he founded, National Review, "It stands athwart history, yelling Stop, at a time when no other is inclined to do so, or to have much patience with those who so urge it." But what Rush Limbaugh did was bring that message to millions. And not just the message — he brought both comedy and empathy to the message. He brought joy to it. President Biden on Tuesday night distanced himself from previous comments by White House press secretary Jen Psaki that the administration's goal for its first 100 days was to have more than 50% of schools open at least one day per week. That goal was criticized as unambitious as it had essentially already been met by school districts partially opening on their own before Biden's time in office. There was also speculation that the White House was trying to avoid upsetting teachers unions, which are a major force in the Democratic Party and have in many cases strongly opposed school reopening efforts.

The numbers paint a daunting picture. In 2019, consumers worldwide bought 64 million new personal cars and 27 million new commercial motor vehicles, a paltry 2.1 million of which were electric-powered. Climate scientists tell us that we have less than a decade to make meaningful reductions in carbon emissions — including those from internal combustion engines — if we have any hope of staving off the worst effects of global warming. Yet manufacturers are still making, and consumers are still buying, overwhelming numbers of vehicles that will, on average, continue to spew carbon into the atmosphere for a dozen years after they
