Progressives Face a Bleak Post-Mueller Landscape

Democrats have grown infuriated by Attorney General William Barr´s indifference to their hysteria over the Trump-Russia collusion narrative. Barr recently released a brief summary of special counsel Robert Mueller´s conclusions that Donald Trump did not collude with the Russians to warp the 2016 election. Barr added that Mueller had not found enough evidence to recommend that Trump be indicted for obstruction of justice for the non-crime of collusion.

Much like a kettle of water coming to a boil, Americans are starting to see the true face of the Democrat Party and their vitriolic, poisonous ideology. Even like-minded people don’t like seeing themselves mirrored by the Democrat Party. It’s not a pleasant reflection.

FTA: “Did Mueller argue that the possible crimes of John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, Andrew McCabe and other former government officials -- lying to federal investigators, perjury, obstruction of justice, deceiving the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, planting an informant into a political campaign, unmasking and leaking the identities of individuals under surveillance -- were only peripheral to his investigation?

Not really. After all, Mueller indicted Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos, Roger Stone and others for crimes that had nothing to do with collusion and were far less serious than the improper behavior of top Obama administration bureaucrats.”

Yet Dems and their media boot licks want us to believe that if Trump wasn’t President, he would have been charged with obstructing a non-crime. Meanwhile, the coup leaders, because they committed crimes for a Democrat presidential candidate, are above all laws.

I know leftists who were giddy in the certainty that Trump was going to be impeached, removed from office and soon wind up in jail. These days a more sour-faced bunch hasn’t been seen since Hitler’s bunker days.
They are instructed by the media to hate Trump and they do without a moment of thought or skepticism. How do you suggest to a guy with a post grad degree in English that he should re-read Orwell’s 1984 slowly and think about the “minute of hate” on Winston Smith’s TV every day?

Now that the judicial committee has voted to declare Barr in contempt of congress (though the whole House has not voted on it yet - maybe it will fail because there are dems in red areas who want to be reelected next year.), Barr should be out for revenge and for serving it cold, preferably frozen.

Not such a good idea to publicly abuse the person who holds your future in his hands. All of the crooks should be quaking even harder in their boots than they were 24 hours ago.

FTA: “Perhaps they feel in the political sense that there is nothing to move on to. And they are probably right.”

They, being the dems, have struck out on the Mueller fiasco and they know it. They are scrambling to keep the narrative going regardless how weak and thin the gruel is that they are trying to force feed the public. All they can do is agitate and they are very good at that. AG Barr was right to ignore their hissy fit. You cannot reason with the insane. Facts have no bearing on their narrative. The law means nothing. Nothing matters but the voices in their heads screaming, impeach Trump!

I love you VDH but your conclusion is utter nonsense and the proof is in reality and what is happening right now and what has happened in the past. Progressives and their beloved deep state face nothing but rewards, nothing but getting away with and getting rewarded for sedition. Name ONE deep state Marxist in the past thirty years who has had their lives destroyed, or who have even faced a wrist slap for committing blatant, high noon, out in the open crimes. Now, name ONE deep state Marxist who has suffered for one second for illegally conspiring and causing the destruction of oh, I don´t know, General Flynn´s, Carter Page´s, George Papadopoulos´ life. Please explain how any of them will NOT be richly rewarded and NEVER see justice.

I am so tired of the 1995, "Now we´ve got them," mantra that has ONLY resulted in further and further afterburning the nation towards Marxism with the GOP lighting the afterburners. Ask Carter Page about who will face a bleak post-Mueller landscape. It ain´t the Progressives and the feckless GOP is making sure of that.

The Democrats are the classic something for nothing Party. As long as there are enough people who (want to) believe that they will be around. Current conditions might ensure another term for Trump. Six years of manning the courts with law abiding judges. Continues full employment, rebuilding the armed forces, completing the wall etc. But beyond that it looks like darkness.

What I meant to say is, Barr should include the IRS scandal in his review of the Obama Admin interference of elections. The IRS was being weaponized to prevent conservative groups from participating in the 2012 election by blocking their tax exempt status. There was a much larger cabal and it may include tech giants quashing the speech of conservative voices, as well.

The Democrat party should be wiped out in the next election. But, do not get your hopes up. The Democrats/Progressives and MSM are constantly telling the lie, that Trump was in cahoots with the Russians and stole the election, over and over and over again. Because of this, many people still believe Trump is guilty!

Liberals are now going full on KGB with a liberal dose of Alinsky tactics to bring this president down. They´re so hateful and filled with rage that they don´t care who or what they destroy in the process. To damage Trump they would destroy the stock market, and our 401K plans with it, to take him out.

Any means to an end..........

The only question I have is who votes for such vile, petty people? The ignorant, deliberately kept ignorant by the left wing media, and voters who are vile themselves?

This won´t end until the democrat party itself is destroyed.

The final verse of the song is, so build your house on the Lord Jesus Christ...and the blessings will come down.

Kamala Harris’ campaign is hit and miss. And

The last few days have been a clear example of why Sen. Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign is wobbling. Let’s begin with the former district attorney’s visit to her home ground for the 75th anniversary celebration of the Sun Reporter, the town’s African American newspaper. Harris worked the pre-party crowd with charm, sharing jokes and memories with everyone she came across. But when she took the stage, we got a 30-minute lecture on the importance of the First Amendment. An inspiring subject, but she went on way too long and without any reference to where she was or who was in the room.

Fine, then Star Trek is a millennial movie series. No, scratch that – Captain Kirk used to get babes and millennials are famously barren. Now, it’s not like Avengers is blatant about its politics, as if the characters chose up sides in some sort of civil war. Oh wait, they did do that a few movies

President Donald Trump’s outside political machine is setting a $300 million fundraising goal and is pitching major GOP donors on a plan to target six swing states that are likely to decide the 2020 election, according to people familiar with the group’s blueprint. The news comes after weeks of questions — some voiced by Republicans close to the president — about whether the organization is prepared for the presidential campaign. And it follows the appointment of a prominent new chairwoman, ex-Trump cabinet member and former WWE executive Linda McMahon.

There is a lot of justifiable hand wringing over the Israel bashing and overt anti-Semitism in American academia. Assembly Bill 186, which passed the Senate on a 12-8 vote, would bring Nevada into the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, an agreement between participating states to cast their electoral votes for the winner of the popular vote. If signed as expected by Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak, Nevada would become the 16th jurisdiction to join the compact, along with 14 states and the District of Columbia.

It’s all a show, meant to keep old news in the headlines, and to appease the large “Impeach Now!” wing of the Democratic Party without actually doing anything. Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established. There's a recurring theme in American science fiction where the country loses its way, endures some horrible but cleansing disaster, and then rediscovers the blessings of liberty. You'll find it in Robert Heinlein's "Future History" stories, where the Crazy Years -- a period of rapid technological advances, decaying social norms, and mass psychosis -- leads to the backlash of a religious dictatorship. The Prophets regime is eventually toppled by a liberty-loving group dedicated to individual rights. The theme is even more pronounced in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, where a socialist regime puts the country into another Great Depression, only worse. The country's capitalists
