At least two of the suicide bombers had law degrees. Two were brothers from a wealthy Colombo family, one of whom attended university in the United Kingdom and earned a postgraduate degree in Australia. There were nine of them altogether, eight men and a woman. Most were “well-educated and come from (the) middle or upper-middle class,” Ruwan Wijewardene, Sri Lanka’s deputy defence minister, told reporters. There is still much to piece together from what happened on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka, about why the authorities did not respond to specific and actionable intelligence about an imminent jihadist

Every outfit has their crazies I suppose, but it’s Islam that has cornered the market in that area. They do not play well with others.

Lots of facts, no rational explanation for any of it. We can live with the Islamic scourge forever or we can conduct a campaign of extermination, beginning in Mecca. It won´t bring any of the victims back but it will delay the planned conquest of the world a few centuries by reducing their numbers. The catch is that we must degrade ourselves to their level.

While there are evil men and women in this world committed to murder, the vast majority of these crazed attacks are committed by religious Muslims. They use their religion as a rationale for genocide both in large and small numbers. Driving them out of the West would go a long way in preventing further murder and mayhem. While we subsidize and protect them, they plot jihad. If we do not wake up to the real and present danger they present, we will continue to experience the undeniably evil motivation of their religion of peace; domination and submission by force.

There will never be anything remotely close to world peace as long as Muslims inhabit this planet.

If Islam was compatible with the West and its values - the ME and many parts of Africa (hello Omar and your beloved Somalia) would much more like Europe or the USA than the crapholes they are.

We are living in a toxic dangerous world where security and intelligence personnel fear for their jobs and pensions if they make a mistake that will be seen as "Islamophobia". No one ever lost their job by being politically correct. Same thing applies to the Catholic church under Francis. This is sad but not surprising.

At the end of the article, the author equates any other murder rampage with what happened in Sri Lanka. The NZ mosque killer... Anders Breivik of Norway.
I think there´s a distinction between armed madness and islamic indoctrination. To begin with, Sri Lanka (and San Bernardino and the Pulse Nightclub) were conspiracies. Secondly, we can´t say what the motivation of a Sandy Hook or Parkland shooter is, but we can sure tell WHO and WHAT is promoting, preaching, authorizing Islamic murder sprees.
It´s like fighting fires. There are electrical, chemical, arson fires and just plain combustable stuff that catch fire. If the preponderance is chemical and you can identify the chemicals, isolate them, exclude them, you´ll still have fires.
But not as many.

3, no, not degrade ourselves to their level at all but increase and use greater violence against them. It is the ONLY thing they respect and understand and that is from personal experience as well as history. The first time we did that was in Tripoli. The last time we did it was the white ship tour by Teddy Roosevelt. Tommy Franks tried it in Iraq but was soon stopped by W and the deep state. Greater violence, overwhelming and consistent greater violence is the ONLY thing that stops them, period.

This article has false conclusion. You cannot completely eliminate human violence, but the ideological and institutional nature of contemporary Islamic violence should be addressed, not met with pious sighs about human "bloodlust."

Practitioners of islam never know if their "god" is pleased with their "good works" and as a result they feel they must do something bold to appease him. The radical imams and mullahs tell the followers how killing non-muslims brings joy to allah, so these radical muslims go on a murder binge, planting bombs or driving rental vans into crowds, killing randomly, assuming all are heretics.
Publicly acknowledging that radical islam isn´t a "religion," but a terrorist political movement, is the first step to a solution.

Quran (4:101) "the disbelievers are ever unto you open enemies."
Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them"
There are 109 verses about violence towards infidels. Why is everyone surprised about the educated fanatics? We don´t have any rich and well educated cult members in America?

Rage, hatred, and bloodlust require the suspension of reason, thought, and intellect. These people are not figuring out the consequences of their actions. There is a price to be paid for that. To forfeit thought and reason is to forfeit life. We are seeing that play out with every suicide bombing and suicide attack. There are blatant acts of violence daily that warrant a swift death penalty, but we don´t do that any longer. The violence will get worse.

Here we are safe in our country and we have been born. What is our morality if we approve of the slaughter of unborn children? We need to get down our knees and ask god for forgiveness.
Muslims are killing those who actually get on their knees.

Islam claims lineage from Abraham through Ishmael, the son of an Egyptian slave girl, conceived because Sarah was barren. When Hagar found herself pregnant, she rubbed Sarah’s nose in it and ran away under her mistress’s retaliatory harshness. A messenger from the Lord found her by a well and directed her to return and submit to Sarah, and promised her descendants would be too numerous to count.
“You are now pregnant and shall bear a son; you shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard you, God has answered you. He shall be a wild ass of a man, his hand against everyone, and everyone’s hand against him; In opposition to all his kin shall he encamp.” (Genesis 16:11-12)
Frankly, I’ve never quite understood the story of Ishmael. His conception occurred before God promised that Sarah would have a son, so Abraham didn’t doubt God, he only followed the custom of his time and place…with the permission of his wife. Hagar was obviously a real piece of work, so why would God single out her progeny to establish a lineage of “wild ass” men? Is Islam the manifestation of the snake in the Garden of Eden in our fallen world? Is its purpose to challenge and strengthen the people of God?

It is the jihadis´ religious duty, according to the Koran, to convert, enslave or kill ALL unbelievers. THE ENTIRE PLANET.
Islam is fundamentally incompatible with a modern, free society.

NPR "expert on ISIS" this morning: "And here there are two major points we really need to tell our listeners today - first, that the killers in New Zealand and Sri Lanka do not speak for their religious communities. And politicians and commentators must really avoid the tendency to invest these bloody and terrible and hideous attacks with any religious and civilizational overtones."
One gunman in New Zealand is equated with dozens of suicide bombers, gunmen, and their helpers in Sri Lanka? No religious overtones? Probably not in NZ, but in SL it is obvious... they were not oppressed, they were following the dictates of Islam.
Experts who warn against "religious overtones" are denying the true nature of the threat, and enable it by lulling us into believing it is not what it plainly is. If I convince parents that pedophiles will not compulsively prey on their children and thus should be given the freedoms of normal citizens, what would be their judgement of me when their children are raped and killed? I would be lucky to be labeled a fool, rather than being lynched! This is how we should regard such "experts" and the dangerous idiots who put them on the radio and treat them as anything but dangerous idiots! NPR is a threat to society: they obscure and excuse real threats to our society!

“3, I disagree. We are allowed to defend ourselves and others, if the situation demands it. If there was a dog breeding kennel that had become contaminated with rabies to the point it only turned out rabid dogs, the state would go in, take it over, kill all the animals in there there by ending the production of diseased animals. The Navy SEALS, to rid the world of Osama Ben Ladin who showed the intention to continue his style of attacks on the US, flew into his compound and ended his existence. They did an excellent job of that and would have continued with that purpose until Obama announced to the world it was SEAL TEAM SIX that did it, and then their helicopter was rigged and we lost this group of Team Six members.
I, for one, do not believe it would be lowering ourselves to any level to stop these animals. I believe Obama lowered the United States by giving in and giving up to them.

There is only one Quran. There is no Islam lite. They all believe the same.
The thing that really ticks me off is all the boohooing over the shooting at the mosque but a media blackout in Sri Lanka. Not one Muzlim comes out to condemn their action including Omar and Talib.
The government in Sri Lanka was warned but took no action. They are just as guilty.
