Attorney George Conway, husband of White House aide Kellyanne Conway, called on Congress to remove President Donald Trump from office following the Thursday release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. “What the Mueller report disturbingly shows, with crystal clarity, is that today there is a cancer in the presidency: President Donald J. Trump,” Conway wrote in a Washington Post opinion-editorial. “Congress now bears the solemn constitutional duty to excise that cancer without delay.” The frequent Trump critic went on to argue that Mueller’s findings lay out how the president committed wrongdoing disqualifying him from the presidency. “The investigation that Trump tried to interfere

When special counsel Robert Mueller finally finished his investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, he produced a report that confirms much of the criticism President Trump has leveled at him during the past two years. It clearly reveals that Mueller’s partisan investigators were determined to “get Trump,” and that they were frustrated by their inability to do so. This is most obvious in the section dealing with obstruction of justice. As it is phrased in the Introduction to Volume II, “[T]his report does not conclude that the President committed a crime.” An honest evaluation would have stopped there.

Late last month President Trump met with a group of Republican senators on Capitol Hill. He discussed a lot of topics, but his most memorable comment came when he called Trump-Russia special counsel Robert Mueller´s investigation "two years of bulls*it." Now, the public has Mueller´s 448-page report, and it tends to support the president´s assessment. In this sense: At its heart, the Trump-Russia probe was about one question: Did the Trump campaign conspire, coordinate, or collude with Russia to influence the 2016 election? Mueller has concluded that did not happen.
