WASHINGTON — Public at last, special counsel Robert Mueller’s report revealed to a waiting nation Thursday that President Donald Trump tried to seize control of the Russia probe and force Mueller’s removal to stop him from investigating potential obstruction of justice by the president. Trump was largely thwarted by those around him who refused to go along. Mueller laid out multiple episodes in which Trump directed others to influence or curtail the Russia investigation after the special counsel’s appointment in May 2017. Those efforts “were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry

He KNEW he had done nothing wrong and he was angry about this evil coup attempt. Entirely understandable, IMO.
And he did nothing when his angry comment was not taken as a legitimate command. This is what good staff does, they are not robots, they understood that he didn´t mean it.
If he really meant it, he would have checked up and gotten it done the next day. He knew he was just angry, and didn´t mean it, he didn´t pursue it later, clearly.
I´d love to have the same kind of info on Hellary. Of course that would be more like, "He leaked all our emails! Blankity-blank, blankity blank.... I want this Seth Rich guy DEAD! and I MEAN IT!", but the folks around her do know she means it and keep their traps shut.

Ten instances of POTUS, obviously frustrated by false accusations, including asserting that he could actually betray the USA.
If you´re being lied about, false accused, viciously attacked in virtually all media, including the entertainment industry, and being victimized by vehemently biased anti-Trump "journalists", and seeing his family being subjected to the same, most NORMAL people would react strongly, out of self-preservation.
He has some personality quirks which are not endearing. However, what we voted for was a person who would fight for America, would not wilt, would not back down.
He has been faced with resistance from the "deep state", from the Left and Dems (naturally enough) and from Never Trumpers (snakes!) and harassment from a pack of ruthless investigators.
After all of that, the investigation went on unhindered.
Last thing i knew, "thought crimes" are still not in the Statutes.

It shows how deranged and unstable the leftists really are. Why would Trump try to halt a investigation into something that didn´t happen?

The ´investigation´ went on for two years, and was entirely political. PRESIDENT Trump was within his right to put an end to it. The left has been conducting a coup. They are still at it, and are too stupid, dishonest, and tyrannical to quit. Its time to hold these jerks accountable, and put an end to this.

Quit throwing at those lies that Trump would have done a bunch of bad things, except those around him. In the first place, would have and could have don´t buy Christmas presents. Secondly, Mueller puts words in people´s mouths and puts it in a report. I don´t think I would want Mueller speaking for me, or telling people what I said. I prefer to do that myself, and I think these people might have the same preference.

I get it, now. If you are a Democrat and do a bunch of illegal things (as listed publicly by Comey), but say you didn´t mean to, then you´re innocent and won´t be indicted. However, if you are a Republican and sorta, kinda, maybe would like to do some questionable or illegal things, but actually don´t do them, then you´re guilty as sin.

It was not attempted obstruction of justice, it was attempted obstruction of injustice, which is different.

If everyone connected to AP were ´investigated´ as President Trump was, you would have a rogue´s gallery of seditious traitors. Insiders who gleefully take orders from the Deep State. Lying and knowingly spreading lies are their bread and butter.

Exactly what they did to Kavanaugh.
As soon as he tried to defend himself against insane accusations, HE was the one who was unhinged. HE was unfit.

Okay, let´s just spend thirty million dollars to reach the same conclusion that most of us reached two weeks after the 2016 election or sooner. Government waste is a tradition at which a private businessman cringes. The leftist media, especially the AssPress, make up their own conclusions and then try to make the facts fit. In the collusion case they were one hundred percent wrong one hundred percent of the time.

The Mueller Report consists of two volumes.
The first volume addressed Mueller’s mandate in conducting the Special Counsel investigation to determine if President Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russian Government to steal the election from Hillary Clinton and the Democrats. It was made clear in that volume that Trump and/or his campaign did not in any way collude with the Russians. That volume therefore fulfilled Mueller’s investigative mandate and Mueller should have left it at that.
But Mueller did not leave it there and issued a volume two, obviously written by his angry Democrat prosecutors that is nothing more them a political hit piece targeting President Trump and his staff’s deliberative consultations, meetings, and talks on how they should move forward in reaction to the Mueller Investigation, that Trump, and the top ranks of the FBI (there was no there, there) knew from the get-go would waste a lot of time and money pushing forward a political dirty trick allegation by Obama and Clinton operatives that was pure BS. In essence after those White House deliberative conferences, meetings, and talks during which Trump received a lot of legal advise, Trump took no presidential action to actually fire anyone connected to the Mueller Investigation or otherwise obstruct that investigation. What Trump and his staff said in those deliberative meetings is not important, was is important is what Trump actually did after those staff consultations. Chances are that volume two never should have been written and publicly released due to Department of Justice traditional policy that prosecutors should not publicaly comment on, or release information relating to investigative targets and witnesses who are not criminally charged.

This morning The Tampa Bay Times´s front page headline screamed "Plenty of black marks against the president."
Driven crazy by radical politics, these editorialists have lost their moorings. They should also lose their soapboxes. I don´t want to hear any more from them. As would be thieves, or worse, if they have their way, they´re well toasted between the ears.
