The Senate is poised this week to consider two more nominees selected by President Trump to sit on the left-leaning 9th Circuit Court of Appeals -- and the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee isn´t happy about it. That´s because the nominees, Ken Lee and Dan Collins, were picked without any input from either Sen. Dianne Feinstein or Sen. Kamala Harris. Traditionally, the White House seeks to obtain a so-called "blue slip," or approval, from a judicial nominee´s two home-state senators before pressing on with their nominations. But the Trump administration, which has successfully nominated several conservative judges to the
"As Senator Harris and I have made clear, we’ve been willing to work from the start with this president to choose consensus, mainstream nominees to the 9th Circuit," Feinstein added."
Mainstream? Hahahahaha! By mainstream she means judges that are far left judicial activists, that is mainstream for democrats. You go President Trump, ignore the radical left and get the job done.

FTA: "One of the things I’ve learned is: what goes around, comes around. I had hoped that we would be able to work in a very cooperative way.”
RIGHT! Just like you worked in a very cooperative way during the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh.
Have you nop shame, Senator Feinstein, or have you no memory?
FTA: ""As Senator Harris and I have made clear, we’ve been willing to work from the start with this president to choose consensus, mainstream nominees to the 9th Circuit," Feinstein added.
You failed miserably. The Ninth Circuit is packed with radical judges, far out of the mainstream.
WAKE UP Feinstein!

The 9th circuit serves most of the western states. There is no reason Senators from California should have any more say than senators from the several other states served by the court.

Feinstein would have Saul Alinksky and George Soros sitting on the bench if she had her way. The only thing I would consult her on is where she wanted her retirement party to be.....close to an active volcano or next to a magma flow.

She lost the last bit of her phony moderate facade in the Kavanaugh fiasco. She’s a full-fledged phony now.

It is hilarious to see Feinstein, Pelosi, and Schumer try to butt heads with Trump. Those senile fools always come out on the losing end of things.

With all of Donald Trump´s faults, and all my doubts when I voted for him, these are days I remember why I did. The federal appellate courts are more important than the Supreme Court because most cases that get appealed stop at that level, and dealing with the 9th Circuit is one of the most important tasks.

Blue Chips were intended to be used when an unknown, or little known, problem was associated with a nominee. It is not supposed to be used for personal retaliation against a nominee, or as a resistance tool against an administration. Democrats have shown how they abuse legitimate nominees, such as Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas, in recent times so President Trump is right to ignore the democrats and nominate good people!

DJT has done an outstanding job in his selection of judges, with one exception.
He nominated Susan Paradise Baxter for federal district court, western Pennsylvania.
She is a big Hillary booster.
Baxter was confirmed and is now on the bench.

That may be true, but traditionally, the opposition party doesn´t construct a false narrative to overturn an election. Tell ´em to pound sand.

#3´s comment is EXTREMELY important to keep in mind. No need to recognize any blue-chip right claimed by a California senator.

One by one the rules of the 2 party gentleman´s agreement that survived a civil war, racial desegregation, and several depressions have been abused by the Democrat party since Trump took office. Even such simple encounters as the White House Correspondent´s dinner and the daily briefings have been stripped of any civility and become heckling matches. The only remaining rule that really counts is the Senate filibuster. My prediction is that if the Dems ever got a majority in the Senate that would be discarded as well. The only protection is to make sure that never happens.

Diane Feinstein is a feeble fool that is a typical California liberal elitist. I wouldn´t pee on her if she was on fire much less give her a say in who the next 9th Circuit nominee should be.

DiFi threw away her claim to blue chip consideration with her duplicity in the Kavanaugh confirmation. She has proven she doesn´t play nice, so why invite her?

This cheeky woman is the senator for my state. I´m so sorry.
Dearest DiFi (snark),
Remember what your buddy Obama said when "negotiating with the Republicans, "I won!" You praise him then, I think. Well, now it´s PDT´s turn. WE WON!!! Take a long hike back to San Fran where you started. I´m sure you can relate to that city even better now.
Sincerely! MAGA!!! KAG!!! Fill the court, PDT!!!

I really think this was a mistake on President Trump´s part. He should have asked Senator feinstein´s opinion on anyone he was considering nomination...he could then rule out any of them which she found acceptable.

Perfect move by President Trump. This nasty bwitch lied and brought forth the horrorible setup liar against Kavanaugh and yet she expects to be treated favorably by the President?
No, when you cooperate, perhaps you will get some consideration. When you do a dirty, crooked deal like that, expect some payback. Trump is doing great things with judges.
