Former President Barack Obama claimed reparations for black Americans are 'justified' but explained in his podcast with Bruce Springsteen that it was a 'nonstarter' during his presidency because of 'white resistence'. [SNIP] 'There’s not much question that the wealth of this country, the power of this country was built in significant part, not exclusively, maybe not even the majority of it, but a large portion of it was built on the backs of slaves.'

Rand Paul angrily confronted Joe Biden's pick for assistant secretary for Health and Human Services on Thursday, likening gender changes surgeries to genital mutilation and pushing the transgender nominee on if they would allow minors to decide if they want to go on hormones to stop puberty.
'We should be outraged that someone is talking to a three-year-old about changing their sex,' Paul said of Rachel Levine, a transgender woman Biden picked to help head up HHS.
Paul, who was a practicing ophthalmologist before becoming a U.S. senator, likened transgender minors starting on transitioning treatments to genital mutilation, blaming the increasing rates of trans-identified youth on 'the social pressure to conform.'

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday he would "absolutely" support former President Donald Trump if he became the GOP presidential nominee in 2024, a notable commitment following his recent blistering critiques of the former President. While McConnell maintained that the 2024 presidential election cycle would be a "wide-open race," when pressed by Fox News' Bret Baier about supporting Trump if he captured the Republican nomination, McConnell offered, "The nominee of the party? Absolutely."

Dozens of House Democrats have sent a letter to President Joe Biden urging him to relinquish sole control over the country’s nuclear weapons codes, citing “real risks” that could lead to an accidental or rogue launch.“…Vesting one person with this authority entails real risks,” said the letter, which was led by California Rep. Jimmy Panetta. “Past presidents have threatened to attack other countries with nuclear weapons or exhibited behavior that caused other officials to express concern about the president’s judgment.”“While any president would presumably consult with advisors before ordering a nuclear attack, there is no requirement to do so,” the letter further states.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Rep. Liz Cheney, the third-ranking House GOP member, had an uncomfortable exchange with reporters Wednesday over whether former President Trump should speak at CPAC as planned this weekend."Yes, he should," McCarthy said in a brief response after being asked by a reporter.Cheney, however, had a different answer when asked the same question."That’s up to CPAC," she began, before elaborating. "I’ve been clear about my views of President Trump and the extent to which, following Jan. 6., I don't believe that he should be playing a role in the future of the party or the country."

A statement from Kathryn Limbaugh and family said Rush Hudson Limbaugh III was honorably laid to rest Wednesday in St. Louis, with close immediate family in attendance. There will be additional celebrations of Rush's life to come both virtually and in his home town of Cape Girardeau, the statement said.

Have you been wondering what happened to Joe Biden’s State of the Union address?
Generally, the State of the Union address is delivered in late January to early February. But in the first year that someone is in office, they officially call it an “address to the joint session of Congress” not a State of the Union, although most people still refer to it as a “state of the union.” It’s often been a little later, likely giving the person the chance to actually evaluate things a little bit first. Barack Obama’s speech was on February 24. Donald Trump’s was on February 28.
So, again, we go back to that question:

The #1 goal of the liberal media ever since Trump came down the escalator in June of 2015 was to smear his supporters as “racists, bigots, sexist, deplorable scum of the earth”.In early 2021, they added “domestic terrorist” to the list.Sadly, according to a brand new poll, the media smear campaign has proved to be effective.A new poll from Echelon Insights shows that the #1 “concern” for Democrat voters is “Trump supporters”. Yes, really. Not police brutality, gun violence, healthcare, student debt, or 7 of the other items they were asked about.Trump supporters.

First Lady Jill Biden says she felt like a 'failure' after her divorce from her first husband, admitting she thought there was something 'wrong with her' because she was unable to make the relationship work. The 69-year-old sat down with popstar and daytime host Kelly Clarkson for her first solo TV interview as First Lady, during which she addressed the breakdown of her marriage to Bill Stevenson, which ended in 1975 after just five years. But while the professor admitted that she placed the blame for the split on herself, she said that she didn't meet second husband Joe, 78, until after

One of the most chilling examples in modern times of the accelerating full-spectrum assault on free speech and the First Amendment took place yesterday on Capitol Hill, courtesy of a subcommittee of the Democrat-controlled House Committee on Energy and Commerce. For over three hours on Wednesday afternoon, the subcommittee held a virtual hearing titled Fanning the Flames: Disinformation and Extremism in the Media. The target was conservative media in general and Fox News in particular. (snip) The tone of the hearing was set early on by one of the witnesses, the self-identified “Latinx. On January 6th, 2021, Ashli Elizabeth Babbitt was executed by a Capitol Police Officer who seemed to hold no restraint.
50 days later, the Capitol Police Officer responsible has been identified in photos before and during the shooting.
The Police Lieutenant’s name is being withheld from Ashli Babbit’s attorneys. You can see the Officer disregards nearly every basic firearm safety rule in the book. His finger is wrapped around the trigger, while his firearm is aimed in the direction of his colleagues. The Officer could not see three uniformed Officers against the wall nearest to Ashli, was not able to

Our vaccine is experimental, and we, the people, are being herded into a mass drug trial such as the FDA has never before attempted.
That is the unembellished truth. Nobody in authority wants to mention this truth. Instead, there’s a long trail of rah-rah news propaganda, about fabulous new stadium-parking-lot vaccine sites (because, what else would a parking lot at a stadium be used for these days?), numbers of doses available, and reports about the elderly in nursing homes doing a dance of joy at getting their jabs and maybe being let out of jail to see family and people other than one another.

How many of today's young people even have a clue that WW2 happened and why, and who won and who lost?
Brave men died for our freedoms and we are letting thugs take them away.
