A suspended state representative in Georgia has pleaded guilty in federal court to unemployment fraud dealings made during the COVID-19 pandemic era. Sharon Henderson, the third official in a string of Georgia Democrats to plead guilty, admitted to fraudulent unemployment dealings resulting from the 2020 pandemic, collecting a total of $17,811. “While running for and holding political office, Representative Henderson was fleecing taxpayers, lying to steal money from federal programs intended to help people who lost their jobs due to the pandemic,” U.S. Attorney Theodore Hertzberg said in a press release. “Her prosecution and conviction demonstrate that elected officials who enrich themselves through fraud will be held accountable for violating the public’s trust.”

I confess. I had to look up her picture to confirm my probably racist suspicions. We now think all Somali refugees are criminals, mass murderers are trannies, and Dem pols are frauds enriching themselves with public monies.

Per #2. So did I although I assumed the same as you. The first clue was Henry County which is 48% black and, the second was party affiliation. I realize that it's racism on my part and that we have and had plenty of white crooks who robbed the system blind but it's also come down to simple realism. A glance at the FBI Uniform Crime reports and the numbers are sad and tragic. Black people have been excused for their crime rate by the left and Democrats for years pandering for their votes.and told that they are oppressed and held back by Whitey and now too many have taken it for justification to steal and rob from 'The Man'. I grew up in the deep South and remember Jim Crow and the real and terrible mistreatment of blacks in those days but the real victims now are the decent people in the black community who wonder every night if their sons will make it home alive.

The ballot initiative Proposition 39, which would amend the state constitution to require that voters provide government-issued identification to vote, originally included the description, “Establishes additional voter identification and citizenship verification requirements.” However, last week, California Attorney General Rob Bonta, a Democrat, changed the language to say: “Prohibits citizens from voting unless they present government-issued identification.” Plaintiffs supporting the passage of Proposition 39 say it would not “prohibit” any votes. After reading a statement alleging that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), who was chairing the hearing, had an "obvious obsession with calling for my prosecution," Fauci clammed up. Undaunted, Paul proceeded to question him anyway. We may have been denied the satisfaction of hearing Fauci having to answer for his tyrannical reign as the COVID king – where was the "No Kings" crowd back then? – but we were treated to the delightful sight of his obnoxious attorney, David Schertler, being hauled out of the room by security after ignoring Sen. Paul's warning to keep his mouth shut.

As many as 60,000 illegal migrants from Africa have swarmed the Spanish territory of Ceuta after Spain’s Supreme Court ruled migrants intercepted at sea while trying to reach the area cannot be kicked out. The ruling issued earlier this month — which applies to the Spanish autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla — said the migrants cannot be expelled under the territories’ special border-rejection regime. One of the things that is perplexing and often a topic of conversation is this new American-Western European alliance or absorption of Islam and Marxism-socialism-communism. In other words, people who identify as radical Muslims, often in their alliance, include people who are traditional Western Marxists, and it doesn’t seem possible for a variety of ways. There’s a lot of antitheses. Do we really believe that these upscale people in blue enclaves in the United States who declare themselves socialist and are voting for people like Zohran Mamdani, or Ilhan Omar, or Rashida Tlaib, who are proud, and active, and often fervent Muslims, tolerate gays?

With the rise of the Mamdani-style communists has come a widespread narrative that the sudden rise of more openly radical politicians means the Democrats of the last few years or decades are somehow moderate. Depending on who’s telling the story, it’s a harrowing tale about Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries trying to stave off the DSA Marxists; or the “far left” floundering because it doesn’t have its own Fox News; or the party needing a storybook journey home to the moderation of Joe Biden and Barack Obama. These are all tall tales, of course. Schumer and Jeffries are engaged in a power struggle, but it’s an intramural contest among fellow radicals.
