Just a few weeks before the first day of class, Howard University retracted the admission of 502 incoming freshmen, whom it says failed to pay tuition on time. Now, New York is opening up its public university system to affected students and offering $800 credits to offset non-refundable deposit costs.
The would-be incoming Howard students were notified July 22 by the school of their dis-enrollment, and many took to social media afterward to lament the situation.
Several attributed their delayed tuition payments to waiting for private scholarships and other financial aid promises from Howard, a private school and one the country's Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The French have done it again. The nation that gave the world the baguette, camembert cheese, and snooty accents crossed a big red line on social media after a U.N. Security Council meeting on Friday. The U.S. envoy, Dan Negrea, a senior delegation official and alternate representative at the General Assembly, slammed France’s “disingenuous grandstanding” and walked out during a Monday meeting
What drew the ire of the seasoned diplomat? France compared the United States to… North Korea.
No, seriously. Negrea took the French to task over their dishonest smear of the United States.

In the wake of a mass shooting in Seattle Sunday, the city’s Socialist Mayor Katie Wilson is facing scrutiny for deactivating surveillance cameras in parts of the city to protect criminals and illegal aliens.
A shootout between two thugs at Seattle’s Bite of Seattle food festival Sunday evening left three people dead and four others injured, including a toddler.
Seattle Police and SWAT teams responded within seconds, performing emergency aid at the scene and launching a search for suspects. Police reportedly recovered two guns at the scene.
Police identified the deceased victims as a 19-year-old man, 44-year-old man, and 56-year-old woman.

Iran attempted a “surprise attack” against US forces in the Middle East on Tuesday, firing several ballistic missiles that were all intercepted, US Central Command said.
“At 5:45 p.m. ET today, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces launched multiple ballistic missiles from Iran in an attempted surprise attack on U.S. forces based in the Middle East,” CENTCOM wrote on X. “All Iranian missiles were successfully intercepted. U.S. forces remain vigilant and at a high state of readiness,” the command added.
The flareup came one day after mediators said that cease-fire talks between the US and Iran made “significant” progress. President Trump, last Friday, had halted

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in an appearance on "The Ingraham Angle" Monday, claimed Dr. Anthony Fauci received the COVID vaccine in a very public ceremony, then roughly five months later, suffered a "pulmonary infarction."
According to RFK, Fauci never told anyone about it. It's one of many alleged lies laid out by the prominent Kennedy family member.
"He lied about masks. He lied about the social distancing. He lied about the transmission, and he lied about natural immunity," he told Fox News personality Laura Ingraham. "He lied about the capacity, as you just said, of the vaccine to prevent infection."

Mayor Zohran Mamdani has doubled down on his “Eat the rich” campaign by publishing a list of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers guilty of . . . owning an apartment.
The city Department of Finance released an “enemies list” of property owners who might be covered by the new non-resident “pied-a-terre” tax — a kind of one-stop class-warfare shopping list for antifa radicals looking for targets.
Mind you, publicizing the list serves no good purpose: The city is mailing all these owners asking them to clarify if they don’t qualify for the new tax, so this publicity isn’t about informing them, it’s about scaring them.

Several prominent Senate Republicans have joined President Donald Trump in pressuring Senate Majority Leader John Thune to cancel the Senate’s August recess to pass the SAVE America Act, the voter-integrity legislation championed by the president.
The legislation aims to prevent noncitizens from voting.
As of Monday morning, Sens. Ashley Moody, R-Fla., Rick Scott, R-Fla., Mike Lee, R-Utah, Jim Banks, R-Ind., John Kennedy, R-La., and Ron Johnson, R-Wis., have come out in favor of passing the legislation before recess.
Banks stated that after New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced that more than 6,600 noncitizens had been accidentally registered to vote, there has been a new push among Republicans to enact the legislation.

The Democratic Socialists of America are not hiding their plan to reshape America. On Sunday, their co-chair joined Fox News and openly confirmed that their long-term goals ahead of the midterm elections include abolishing parts of the U.S. government.
Megan Romer appeared on Shannon Bream’s “Fox News Sunday,” saying the organization’s goals include abolishing the presidency, U.S. Senate, and Supreme Court, as well as prisons, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the nation’s borders. The Democratic Socialists of America also envision defunding the Pentagon and granting amnesty for illegal aliens.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., released a trove of Anthony Fauci’s diary entries Saturday, the latest in a series of document dumps further exposing the corruption of many of the scientists and government officials behind the tyrannical response to Covid. Among other revelations, Fauci’s entries from December 2019 to December 2022 reveal a man fixated on legacy media appearances, the perks of fame, and the growing Fauci “cult” even as the pandemic escalated.
The size of Fauci’s ego is no surprise to anyone who lived through Covid with his eyes open. He was notorious for doing home interviews with a portrait of himself in the background. He once claimed,

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Co.,” former Trump Deputy National Security Adviser KT McFarland said that “The best solution” in Iran is “sort of a slow-rolling regime change, slow-rolling coup, where the IRGC loses control” and others like the parliament gain control due to Iran’s economy struggling. She also stated that, after the mutual number one interest of eliminating Iran’s nuclear program, the interests of the U.S. and Israel “kind of diverge. Because [Prime Minister] Netanyahu has said, well, they want regime change. President Trump has said, no, not necessarily.”

It is apropos that the same week that former NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci will be grilled before the Senate on his COVID deception and falsehoods, Joe Biden's former Health and Human Services Secretary and CA governor candidate Xavier Becerra would also be in the crosshairs. Becerra is already under scrutiny for the 300,000 unaccompanied minors that went missing under his watch, when he served as HHS Secretary. On Monday, a whistleblower came forward and pulled the lid off of just how the sponsors of these children were vetted. Or rather, how they were not vetted.

Steve Goncalves, the father of Kaylee, one of the four University of Idaho students allegedly murdered by Bryan Kohberger, is speaking out on the shocking development in the murder case. The accused killer had initially taken a plea deal that ensured he evaded the death penalty, but required he admit to the murders of the four students. This led him to receive four life sentences, which he is now trying to undo by declaring his innocence and demanding a trial.
Reacting to the move by Bryan Kohberger, Steve Goncalves shared that he would love to have a “second shot” at the accused killer, especially if it means he gets the death penalty.
