Half the socialists in Denver wear COVID masks

This news item falls into the categories of both funny and weird – categories that are getting a lot of traction these days. In Denver, the socialists met to party and celebrate, and to party some more, after their chosen socialist candidate beat the Democrat in the Democratic primary last month. It wasn’t even close. By the way, the Democrats still have primaries for their non-Presidential candidates, apparently, but the winners are generally socialists, not Democrats. (Ah, but maybe I’m splitting hairs.)

Planning an armed robbery? Masked people in public should be regarded as suspicious. We're six years past the blossoming of the Covid insanity. No further excuse for face covering.

It's been a pretty good tipoff the last few years. Either the individual(s) aren't too swift, or they're Dems. Oh wait, those are one and the same.

Very well may be intending to hide their identities as much as their loony theory on stopping viruses.....far smaller than the holes in their silly masks.

Is Platner demanding, um, a severance package? 6 replies

The news of the days – or, rather, yesterday – is that the Democratic candidate running for the Senate from Maine named Graham Platner is alleged, again, to be a rapist. Duty demands that I mention he denies the accusation. In fact, he denies lots of things. He had a Nazi tattoo on his chest for some 19 years, but denies knowing that it was a Nazi tattoo. Notably, his friends deny his denial. Before he was alleged to be a rapist, and during the time he sported a Nazi tattoo that he didn’t know was one unless you believe his friends, he pretended to be an oyster farmer.

There’s an expression that I won’t use in a title to a piece, but I’ll use it in the body. The expression is, “You get a socialist with an election, you get rid of them with a gun.” Socialists have a pattern. They won’t go away. It’s a one-way ratchet. They get elected, and then they refuse to get un-elected. So, we get more and more of them. They’re like houseflies – just as parasitic, just as bothersome, and just as unhealthy. Bernie Sanders is a good example. He has been in politics for most of his 84-year life.

Over the last year and a half, the Democrats have gnashed their teeth about why they lost in 2024 – against Donald Trump, the candidate they hate so much they imagine that everyone else does, too. Was it because the Democrats advocated transsexual boys in the girls’ bathrooms? Was it because they favored abandoning the southern border while simultaneously lying to us that it was secure? Was it because they nominated a nitwit candidate without a nomination convention?

Donald Trump did the right thing in Iran, for a while. He buried their enriched uranium under hundreds of feet of dirt and rock. He destroyed for years their ability to enrich more of the stuff. He made a lot of headway in crimping their ballistic weapons. He showed others in and around the Persian Gulf that the Iranians are bad guys. But then he stopped. We’d already lost, um, just about no soldiers, but there was a possibility that we might lose some. He stopped because he believed, correctly, that Americans were tired of the war.

I was driving through the wasteland we used to call downtown Denver, a place the Wall Street Journal recently determined was the “most empty” of any downtown in America. Office buildings are being sold for pennies on the dollar. Weirdly, traffic was stop and go. I figured there was an accident, because there was no other explanation for this curious phenomenon. But it was all due to a Rockies game. They were hoping to improve on their 25-42 record, or at least individually hoping to improve on their salary-based statistics.
Israel has about 0.40% of the Mideast,

Ignorant media accounts and flighty college students would have you believe that the State of Israel holds a large percentage of the land in the Mideast. Those greedy, imperialistic Jews! But they don’t. The State of Israel is about one-third of one percent of the Middle East. Virtually none of that land holds oil and gas reserves, by the way. It is very arid land that is challenging to just farm. Jewish inhabitation of what is now Israel dates back to before recorded history. Their capital was Jerusalem, the site of Solomon’s Temple – which was a real, not mythological, building.

There’s a growing scandal in Georgia. Seems a woman federal court judge has been reprimanded for having sex in the courtroom chambers with a male police officer. The sex was duly accompanied by loud, um, sex noises within easy hearing distance of the judge’s staff. This happened over and over. And over again. For years. One of the judge’s discomfited clerks reported the matter, and the appellate court conducted an investigation. The judge outright lied to the appellate court investigators, and attacked the clerk who had filed the report.

The inconvenient truth for Al Gore is that his immodestly prophetic book published 20 years ago proved to be false. The polar bear population has doubled. Wildfires are down in North America as well as every other continent. Hurricanes and other extreme weather events are milder and less frequent, and fatalities due to it are far fewer. The snows of Kilimanjaro are still there. Manhattan is not under water. In fact, the seas have barely risen. The Netherlands are no more nether than ever, and the seas would have to rise another 5,280 feet to reach the Mile High City of Denver.

Some issues are no-brainers for politicians: Transexuals in women’s sports and girl’s bathrooms. Showing an ID to vote. Securing the border. Enforcing the criminal laws. Judging people by merit. These are 80/20 issues where 80% of the citizens are on one side and only 20% are on the other. Being on the 20% side of 80/20 issues is not a winning election strategy. We saw that in 2024. Therefore, the big thinkers in the Democratic Party are preaching that Democrats need to shift over to the 80% side on these 80/20 issues.

The latest battle in the gerrymandering wars took place in Virginia. The Democrats in Virginia had all the guns – they control the governorship, the legislature and a majority of the voters. In a classic example of “Ready-Fire-Aim,” the Democrats promptly used those guns to shoot themselves in the foot. It all started a few years ago, back when Virginia was a purplish state. Voters approved an amendment to the state constitution to establish a non-partisan procedure for drawing Congressional Districts.

There’s a rule of law that Americans of all races have long asked for, and thought they had. That rule is the one that outlaws racial discrimination. First, consider where we are now as we approach two centuries since the Civil War and three generations since the first Civil Rights Act. We’ve elected a Black President and a Black Vice President, we currently have a stellar Hispanic Secretary of State, we’ve had 14 Black Senators and 183 Black members of the House (including many from states that were part of the Confederacy), and oddsmakers say a Black man is likely to be the next Speaker of the House.

COVID-19 vaccine injures are so common many of the legislators who pushed them have also been severely injured—but still won't admit it. This culture of silence around these injuries must end. One of the things which has always fascinated me about the world is how certain invisible laws govern the “spontaneous” events that occur around us (e.g., radioactive decay).(Snip) When the COVID-19 vaccines were initially released, I had a large number of patients immediately show up with “moderate” reactions to the COVID vaccines, with many of them stating something to the effect of: “I have gotten a flu shot for years and I have never experienced anything like this.”

Four years ago, the Senate voted unanimously to ditch the switch and stick with daylight saving time year-round. Nineteen states have passed laws that would make DST permanent, if the federal government would let them. And this week, the House approved the Sunshine Protection Act by a 3-to-1 margin. But don’t count on it becoming law. As Politico reports, it “faces an uphill battle in the Senate despite strong lobbying from the White House and personal engagement from President Donald Trump.” The problem is that enough Senators are likely to be swayed by critics to block it, even though the arguments against the bill are entirely specious.

Things just keep getting worse for the Democratic Party, and at this rate, they may need a new metaphor because "keeps getting worse" barely covers it anymore. We already told you the polls are tightening heading into the midterms in November, which was bad enough on its own. Now it turns out the party's situation is so much worse than we already know, and the people running the show apparently don’t want you to know just how bad it really is In a bizarre move, the Democratic National Committee required its senior leadership to sign non-disclosure agreements before a private meeting on the party's finances, according to

WASHINGTON — Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego, a potential 2028 presidential candidate, engaged in sexual relationships with at least two House staffers and his “very flirtatious” habits with others may come back to haunt him, The Post has learned. The 46-year-old lawmaker admitted to the two relationships — both with aides to Texas Democrats — to one source while a second person said they had recently learned of the romantic entanglements. A third source confirmed one of the dalliances, both of which are said to have been consensual and occurred during Gallego’s decade representing Phoenix in the House.

In 2025, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) delivered a ruling that may prove to be one of the most consequential legal interventions in modern environmental politics. It declared that states have a binding legal obligation under international law to prevent climate change, mitigate its impacts and avoid conduct that harms the environment. This was not merely symbolic. The court effectively transformed climate policy from a matter of political discretion into one of legal duty. Governments are now expected not only to regulate greenhouse gas emissions but to do so under the shadow of potential legal liability. Most significantly,

An imam from Texas named Omar Suleiman who has led prayers before Congress is facing a formal rebuke over horrible comments he made, celebrating the news of the death of Senator Lindsey Graham. Celebrating the death of Republicans has become commonplace on the left. We saw the exact same thing play out following the death of Charlie Kirk. They don’t even try to hide it. They gleefully celebrate the death of their political adversaries openly on social media, then often act surprised when others react to them with disgust, or if there are consequences. This case is especially repulsive, given that this is supposedly a man of God.

While Republicans in the House and Senate, and conservative activists like Scott Pressler (who means well) have been pushing the SAVE Act 24/7, I’ve been pushing something a thousand times better… A “National Security Emergency for Elections.” This “National Security Emergency” invention was created by me, with assistance from my election security expert, John Goodman. This idea is like comparing a tiny 1% tax cut to Ronald Reagan’s massive, record-setting, income tax act of 1981, which cut income tax rates from 70% to 28%. There is no comparison.
