The Southern United States is growing population-wise at break-neck speed, while other areas have not experienced such a boom. Every age group in the southern portion of the country grew faster than any other region over the course of several years, Vintage 2025 estimates showed, per the U.S. Census Bureau’s announcement Thursday: New data released today for all counties in the United States and Puerto Rico provide a closer look at what age groups were driving the growth of U.S. counties across different stages of life: childhood (0-17), young adulthood and higher education (18-24), early work and family-building years (25-44), midlife (45-64), and retirement (65 and older).

This would be great if those of us here in Georgia could get to vet the immigrants to make sure that they are not infected with the leftist woke virus. The South probably needs a border wall like Texas, AZ et al.

The 0-17 age is the most interesting. It signals less babies killed in the womb. I pray that's the meaning, anyway.

Even in deep blue Maryland, the five county sheriffs who backed ICE, then sued the state to allow them to cooperate with federal officials, and ultimately ran for reelection on strict enforcement of immigration won their GOP primaries this week, according to poll results. Each of these sheriffs faced challengers who ran as soft on crime and immigration but won despite political opposition to their immigration policy stances, according to the Baltimore Sun. The Sheriffs who won their primaries include Harford County’s Jeff Gahler, Carroll County’s James T. “Jim” DeWees, Worcester County’s Matthew Crisafulli, Wicomico County’s Mike Lewis and Frederick County’s Chuck Jenkins.

truism of leftist revolutions is that the Old Guard is never sufficiently pure for the younger generation that it trained. More scarily, the younger generation is usually willing to engage in mass slaughter to carry on the pure form of the revolution, whether with or without the help of select Old Guard members willing to save their own skin by embracing the slaughter. Right now, we’re witnessing a few in the Democrat Old Guard who suddenly feel the revolution’s claws scraping at their jugulars. We can only hope that normal Americans stop the madness before the blood really flows.
Mamdani Takes First Step to Seize Apartment Buildings 9 replies

Zohran Mamdani has a plan to seize private property and take over the apartment-housing business in New York City, and it's not exactly rocket science. He even ran for office on a platform of doing so, although he didn't describe it in exactly those terms. It's pretty simple, really, and doesn't require men with guns knocking on doors and putting landlords up against the wall, as his good friend Hasan Piker likes to fantasize about. While Piker screams on Twitch about capitalist blood and guts running in the streets, Mamdani and his housing czar, Cea Weaver, are following the tried and now true DSA method of using the existing

Gavin Newsom has, until now, opposed wealth taxes, or so-called "Billionaire" taxes. No longer. Joining Ro Khanna, Elizabeth Warren, and the more radical left-wing in his party, he is jumping on board the crazy train, calling for an "economic reset" by seizing a fraction of the wealth—almost all of which is unrealized capital gains, and hence the ownership of companies and not actual cash money—and transferring to the government to spend on...whatever. Making the world poorer but "fairer." While I know you think of Newsom as a Lefty-Democrat, he is the archetypal Organized Crime Democrat, who mouths

Yes, I DO know that "moderate" and "Democrat" really don't belong in the same sentence (although I continue to insist that there is a cohort of moderate Democrat voters, although very few moderate Democrat politicians of any note). That's why I have taken to distinguishing the two factions at war in the Democratic Party as being the "Organized Crime Democrats," who use the party as a tool to grab money and power to further their own interests, and the "Bolshevik" Democrats, who want to seize everything in what amounts to a Communist, mostly bloodless coup. The OCDs helped build up the Bolsheviks, seeing them as committed

Beijing — A small aircraft appeared to have struck the tallest building in China’s capital on Friday afternoon, in a shocking incident in one of the world’s most fortified cities. Dramatic footage from Beijing posted on social media showed debris falling from the 109-story CITIC Tower, also known as China Zun, as well as a tail section of the plane and a broken window of a taxicab on the ground. A CNN journalist witnessed people evacuated from the skyscraper gathering on the streets near the entrance, along with firetrucks, police cars and an ambulance.

When a judge asked whether he was guilty during a hearing on Friday, Bolton responded: “I am, Your Honor, and sorry for it.” The Justice Department is seeking a five-year sentence for Bolton, who also previously served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. He has also agreed to pay a fine of $2.25 million. Bolton is scheduled to be sentenced on October 28.

The U.S. economy grew at a significantly swifter pace than previously estimated during the first three months of the year. Gross domestic product, the government’s broad economic scorecard, rose at a 2.1 percent annual rate in the January through March period, the Commerce Department said Thursday. The figure is seasonally and inflation-adjusted. The upward revision, the government’s third and final monthly adjustment to the estimate of economic growth, stemmed from a lower estimate for imports. Imports are a subtraction in the calculation of GDP. Consumer spending growth was also revised lower

The interim “president” of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez issued several statements on Wednesday thanking the government of the United States for offering aid following a devastating earthquake in her country — a dramatic reversal from her previous stance of actively discouraging starving Venezuelans from accepting American aid. A 7.1-magnitude earthquake hit Venezuela late on Wednesday about 104 miles from the national capital, Caracas, crippling entire neighborhood blocks of buildings and substantially damaging the capital’s main airport. Local outlets reported at least ten collapsed buildings in the capital and fears of many people trapped under rubble, as well as dangerous situations involving electrical wires.

Well, well, well. The Supreme Court learned the meaning of "Temporary" in "Temporary Protected Status." And, in an even more stunning decision, they also said that Mexico is not "The United States of America," so it's not correct to say that a person in Mexico who tries to enter the United States has "entered the territory of the United States" and is protected by the rights of a person who is already here. Shocking, I know. Water is wet, too. And the decision reaffirming that will be 6-3 as well, with the liberal justices declaring that we have to ask the water whether it identifies as wet.

The Supreme Court handed President Donald Trump two major immigration victories on Thursday morning, both having to do with his administration's efforts to reduce asylum claims. In the first case, Mullin v. Al Otro Lado, the court held that migrants who are turned away at the border before entering the United States are not entitled to apply for asylum. In the second case, Mullin v. Doe, the court ruled that Haitian and Syrian nationals in the United States with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) could not receive judicial relief postponing the revocation of their status while they challenge the Trump administration’s efforts to revoke it in court.

In a video message, Mamdani criticized the 6-3 decision from the Supreme Court, stating that it “is putting so many people’s lives in jeopardy,” adding that New Yorkers stand “in solidarity with all of those who are concerned” by the ruling. In his video message, Mamdani also stated that it was “cruel” to have “people who frankly taught the world about freedom, have their own freedom be put in jeopardy,” the New York Post reported. “Many of you know, this is a city of eight and a half million people, more than three million of us were born elsewhere —

The Democratic Socialists of America have adopted a strategy to exploit the Democratic Party’s ballot access to boost their own candidates at the expense of incumbents, a plan which achieved remarkable success in New York City this week. The victory of two DSA-backed candidates and one former member delivered a shock to the Democratic Party establishment, which has begun to call for better policing of the party’s primaries against candidates who are only seeking to exploit it, not join it. “I say this with no ill will or animosity: if you hate the Democratic Party, then please don’t run for our nomination,”

The decisive primary sweep by NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s left-wing comrades gave Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez such an ego boost that Democratic insiders predict it could spur a White House bid in 2028. The “Squad’s” queen bee may ditch her long-anticipated plot to unseat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for bigger game after three radical Mamdani-backed insurgents running for House seats on Tuesday defeated old-guard Dems, pushing the party even further left, the insiders said. “New York’s clean sweep was a political earthquake that shows voters generally want to shake up the system,” said Adam Green, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee.

California's lunatic "wealth tax," it seems, is to be on the 2026 ballot. It's one of the dumbest ideas in the history of taxation, advocated and planned by some of the most economically ignorant people to ever turn oxygen into CO2, which doesn't mean plenty of lefties won't vote for it. The once-Golden State's impeccably coiffed Governor Gavin Newsom, with a note of panic in his virtual voice, wants Californians to know he's voting "no," and why he wants them to vote against the measure as well. It's a little late to be worried about that now; this has been a key part of the Great Sorting,

Labour has urged British farmers to stop raising cattle and grow lentils instead as part of a Net Zero push. GB News has more. The Government published its highly-anticipated ‘Farming Roadmap’ on Wednesday, outlining its long-term vision for Britain’s agriculture sector. The 71-page document outlined the Government’s intention to help British farmers wind down high-emission farming – including cattle – and move towards “growing oilseeds and pulses” for planet-based products. “Farmers will play a critical role in delivering this transition by adopting practices that reduce emissions while sustaining productive, commercially viable businesses,” the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) wrote.

The UK paid nearly £1,400 per megawatt hour – about 17 times the normal prices – on Wednesday evening to obtain emergency supplies from the Continent in a move set to add £11 million to bills. National Energy Systems Operator (Neso), which balances daily electricity supply and demand, paid the sky-high prices after a shortfall in energy generated from domestic solar and gas-fired power stations left the UK scrambling for supplies. The situation meant Neso was forced to obtain a special dispensation from its EU counterparts to buy the power. The EU has limited sales to the UK because of the effect on the Continent’s own electricity supplies.

"It is a privilege, the right to be exempt from paying taxes, being able to take donations that are tax-deductible, and have private citizens apply that against their taxes.
