Some Real Talk About the Iran Deal

Original Article

It’s time to take a hard look at the memorandum of understanding (MOU) and to think about it objectively. On one hand, it is not the utter catastrophe that a lot of people – people who largely agree with my position that we should be actively destroying these goat-molesting, pagan semi-humans – think it is. On the other hand, it’s a crap sandwich, and there’s no need to take a bite and announce that it’s “Yummy.” It is not yummy, but it might be the best we can hope for today.

The clearest most honest assessment of the Iran situation I've seen.

The Iranian Nuclear program is blown to bits. And will stay in bits forever. So Trump can and will extend the '60 day' negotiation well up to and beyond the November election. In the meantime the farce of the 'Summit' in Lucerne will continue. The critical issue is to fire up the economy and have it chugging come November. Remember, every argument against the MoU and the negotiations is exactly trying to derail that.

I particularly enjoyed the final paragraph. It is possible that regime change is already preordained at this point, but will take time to unfold. I would imagine that the other Gulf States would prefer the Mullahs to decamp to seventh hell as their permanent forwarding address. No one is standing still, but the Mullets are crawling. Something tells me that they will have big problems crawling out of the woodwork every day which will eventually swamp them. They are under siege and they are not going to re-achieve their life before February 2026.

Exactamundo. Everything in this assessment is a cold, hard fact. If the Iranians want the mullahs and their henchmen gone, that’s going to be THEIR job. In the meantime, we should bide our time until November and string them along - and after the elections, turn Iran into rubble. Once they're bombed back into the 19th century, we can start smuggling weapons to a few of the more serious people in that country, so they can start taking it back. It will take at least a decade to rid that place of Muslim thought and doctrine, along with the lives of several million Iranians, but that’s THEIR problem.

I saw an article claiming Iran thinks it retains the "right" to continue to enrich uranium. By the same light, we retain the "right" to keep blowing them to hell!

I have read everything about the MOA and the IRAN Thugs and Donald Magnus Trump. IT is clear to me that Trump is giving the IRAN THUGS enough rope to hang themselves by playing Rope A Dope (Look it up) with them. Once they breach the final agreement, and it won't take more than a few weeks, Trump then has the perfect response, Eliminate ALL of the IRAN Thugs and give the country back to the Iranian people. It's NOT Regime change, it's Regime Elimination and they won't be back!

This may be the finest article yet about the Iran "deal." Schlichter is true blue and rarely disappoints. It's hard to listen to all the non-stop ignorant talk about "TACO Trump," "Trump sold out Israel," and "Trump sold out the Iranian people." No matter what I see in the news headlines, I give Trump more credit than that. His goal is victory and I am confident he has a strategy -- one he does not need to broadcast at this time. Politics, as Bismarck once said, is the art of the possible. Right now, the priority is to get oil and gas prices down (oil is nearly at what it was before the Iran conflict began), get the economy rolling full steam, and win the mid-terms. Then we can turn our attention to finishing the job in Iran.

I agree from a secular viewpoint. Spiritually, one thing I believe and trust with all of my heart is that PDJT is in this position of world leadership by the good grace of Almighty God. He is masterfully juggling all of these issues because of God’s providential blessings, with the aid of fervent prayers from righteous believers all over the world. People, including others like me, who are insignificant in the eyes and ears of the world, but whose love, trust, obedience and faith in in God have granted us the ear of the One who holds ultimate power, has ultimate control in the affairs of men, and whose promises grant access to mercifully hear our prayers before His Most High and Heavenly Throne, according to His Holy Purpose. Righteous prayers are effective with God, thus very important to outcomes. Pray for God’s blessings of knowledge, understanding, strength, courage, wisdom, safety, protection and guidance for PDJT and for all who are working for good to prevail. May the righteous and their prayers increase. His will is going to be done - come what may. May there be enough God fearing believers who will humble themselves, turn to Him so He will hear their prayers from heaven and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). I’m sick and tired of people who scoff at public mentions of righteous faith and praise of God, while wickedness is boldly displayed night and day from every device and in every manner. It is an attempt to completely silence, punish, and even criminalize righteousness. Our Founders and others throughout these 250 years were not so timid about honoring God and encouraging righteousness among the people from their positions of power, nor were others with public opportunities. It has always served US well, and it shall again if we stand for God. To God be the glory.

Thank you #9!!! I totally agree with your comment. The LORD is guiding PDJT and is also protecting him. Nothing will harm our President no matter how often his enemies attempt to do so. It's important that President Trump has all the wisdom and discernment necessary to accomplish all the assignments the LORD has given him, both domestically as well as foreign affairs. Prayers do work wonders; we must pray "without ceasing".

So now the Strait of Hormuz is closed again, this time because Iran blames Israel for defending itself from attacks by one of Iran’s terrorist proxies, Hizballah. Iran — despite our claims to have destroyed its air forces and navy — can close the Strait whenever it likes. We have gone a long way since President Trump announced that he would only accept Iran’s “unconditional surrender.” When the Iran war began the White House said that, “From day one, the objectives have been clear: to obliterate Iran’s missiles and production, annihilate its navy, sever its support for terrorist proxies and ensure it never acquires a nuclear weapon.”

A Chicago Woman Just Humiliated Democrats

The Democrats have spent the past couple of weeks pearl-clutching over the voting rights of Black Americans, falsely claiming the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling on the Voting Rights Act, along with Republican redistricting in states like Tennessee, will disenfranchise certain voting blocs. That's not true, of course. But Democrats aren't really worried about representation or the will of the people, anyway. They're livid that they have to compete for voters outside of racially gerrymandered districts and run on ideas instead of identity politics. And for one [b;ack] woman in Chicago, this was just too much. She absolutely blasted Democrats who are melting down over voting rights.

There’s a rare kind of elegance that doesn’t come from handlers, stylists, or algorithms. It comes from knowing who you are before the world decides who you should be. Advertisement Melania Trump didn’t arrive in Washington looking to be molded. She arrived whole. A woman who had already survived a communist upbringing, brutal fashion circuits, and tabloid cruelty, which meant she didn’t need America’s approval. And that’s precisely why they couldn’t look away. While others in the political orbit begged for the spotlight, Melania Trump did something that felt borderline rebellious: She stood still. She didn’t chase applause. She didn’t retweet compliments. She didn’t apologize for being herself.

It doesn’t look like it’s some nefarious plot. It’s not a Deep State move, though one could probably argue otherwise. Why is Ronald Rowe, the former acting director of the Secret Service, still on the agency’s payroll? Susan Crabtree had a lengthy piece about this odd non-departure. It turns out that he could be using sick leave, which has no payout, to stay on at the Secret Service. However, there are also regulatory protections in place for senior political appointments that are set to expire after 120 days.

There’s a famous quote on the subject of judicial power — that is, real judicial power, and not just the imagined kind that we’ve grown accustomed to accepting in a legalistic society. It comes courtesy — though we’re told it’s an apocryphal quotation — of Andrew Jackson, our 7th president. Jackson was informed of the Supreme Court’s decision in an 1832 case, Worcester v. Georgia, which involved a complicated set of circumstances by which a missionary to the Cherokee Nation was imprisoned for violating a state law that he claimed was non-binding on sovereign Indian territory.
