Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on Monday for the first time publicly addressed the Supreme Court's controversial recent decision in a Louisiana voting rights dispute and the conservative majority's expedited certification of the ruling, which allowed state Republicans to more quickly implement plans for a new congressional map. Jackson, the liberal junior justice, told a gathering of the American Law Institute in Washington that her colleagues' handling of the case may have compromised the court's impartiality in political matters, especially during an election year.

If this fathead doesn’t shut her big mouth, we need to find a way to remove her from the bench. Sooner or later, she's going to do, or say, something really stupid.

Well isn't this the way to project the unethical past practices of the Democrats onto the court conservative judges. I bet that, in this specific instance, Justice Jackson may actually know a LOT about election fraud. Only thing is, she's determined to enable it, not prevent it.

Jackson is trying to make her tortured and politically biased reasoning sound reasonable. She lacks the brainpower to accomplish it. Dems in Louisiana tried to do something illegal. They got caught and their actions were invalidated. To have a legal election structure, it was requested the the previous legal apportionment be restored immediately. To not do so would have allowed the dems one election with their illegal voting map in place. The only "bias" displayed was one for the rule of law, exactly as the court should do. Jackson is proving she is an idiot. She is becoming a very frustrated idiot because she cannot accomplish anything she wants to, thank goodness.

KBJ is too dumb to realize that it is her comments, wholly supported by Democrats, that has made the Supreme appear politicized. Just because you don't agree with or like how ruling went doesn't mean they were politically motivated. The ghost of Ruth Bader Ginseng needs to come haunt KBJ and and teach her some things about the Court and the Constitution like Scrooge was taught.

Only because the leftist Communists have made EVERYTHING political, including KBJ. If KBJ were wise, which she clearly is not, she would quickly become a "Team Player," and fit in before SCCJ Roberts lowers the boom on her public antics, and delivers the message that she start showing Judicial Restraint and Discipline, else get removed from the Bench. Our Civics 101 classes have taught us that our Supreme Court is a separate, co-equal branch of government, and afforded that distinction, it is more than likely that the Justices do NOT have to suffer a fool lightly. Even if Congress appoints their, "Justice du jour, " who checks all the boxes for modernity, should that Justice be an anchor on jurisprudence applying Constitutional discernment, as they're expected to do, then the Chief Justice and a majority of peers no doubt may, when required, admonish a rogue SCJ and remove that Justice from the Bench, informing the POTUS and Senate of an immediate opening. If Biden is found to have stolen the 2020 Election, which is quickly approaching, then that puts a hair-dryer on the already thin-ice KBJ is sitting on while she loads up on ever more of the left's "social-justice/anti-racist 'bags of cement'." Sorry, Dreamers. It's right there in the Constitution, Article 3: "The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour[.]" Impeachment by the House of Representatives and Conviction in the Senate is the sole mechanism to remove a Supreme Court Justice (or any Federal judge). There is no way for the Chief Justice, or even the Court by an 8-1 vote, to remove the hyperpolitical and notorious KBJ from the Bench. The worst that the CJ can do is refuse to assign her any opinions to write, and even then she can write dissents and concurrences out the Wazoo. "The evil that Biden's done lives long after him; had there been any good, it would be interred with his bones."

Adm. As RedState reported, there was a mass shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego on Monday, just before noon Pacific time. Three people were killed, including a security guard at the mosque named Amin Abdullah, who reportedly "played a pivotal role" in saving lives. The two teenagers who San Diego police say opened fire have been identified as 17-year-old Cain Lee Clark and 18-year-old Caleb Liam Vazquez (earlier reports that had his last name listed as Velasquez were incorrect). They reportedly became friends online, where they were radicalized. Both were found dead a few blocks away in a car with what investigators believe were self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

In 2025, Tuberville announced he would seek the Alabama governorship. CRESTWOOD, Ky. — Kentucky U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie lost his Republican House primary Tuesday after a concerted effort by President Donald Trump to oust him from Congress through challenger and ultimate winner Ed Gallrein. The result showed the president’s persisting influence over GOP voters, adding to a growing number of Trump-backed primary challengers to defeat Republican lawmakers who angered him in his second term. Massie, who has served in Congress since 2012, angered Trump by pushing for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, criticizing the war in Iran and voting against his signature tax legislation last year. WASHINGTON – In a political blow to President Donald Trump, the Senate on May 19 moved forward for the first time with a measure to end the war in Iran. After several key Republican senators didn't vote – and another key GOP bloc defected – the war powers resolution advanced, 50-47. Though the vote was largely procedural, and faces an uphill battle to actually becoming law, the resolution's progress was a bad omen for the White House about potentially waning support in Congress for the war. Rising gas prices, spiking inflation and the president's sinking polling numbers have become political liabilities for battleground GOP lawmakers as the November midterm elections approach.
