Why won’t former President Obama ever

In 1921, Woodrow Wilson, the first of America’s four transformative progressive presidents, became the first president to remain in Washington and make the nation’s capital his permanent home after leaving office. In very mild defense of the man who did more than any other to establish the administrative state and thus pervert America’s carefully constructed constitutional design, Wilson had suffered a debilitating stroke two years prior that left him partially paralyzed and nearly blind. He died just a few years later, in 1924. Barack Obama, the nation’s fourth transformative progressive president (following Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson)

Comments:

Because he has absolutely nothing else to do.

It’s because he hopes to get back into the White House by some insane means and become president-for-life like his fellow despotic African dictators.

Six people were found dead in a cargo train boxcar near a Laredo, Texas, rail yard Sunday, officials said. Police responded after a Union Pacific employee called to report a “trailer box car with the discovery of multiple casualties in the car” around 3 p.m. local time, police said. The ages of the victims and the origin of the train were not immediately released. Jose Baeza, an investigator with the Laredo Police Department, said those questions are “at the crux of the ongoing fluid investigation.” The Webb County medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner

Democrats, who are openly talking about packing the United States Supreme Court to basically rewrite the Constitution of the United States, are so panicked by their failure to illegally redraw the Congressional map in Virginia that they are, according to The New York Times, contemplating a move to remove the current Supreme Court justices in Virginia with a new, less legally-minded group appointed by Abigail Spanberger. A key architect of California’s controversial billionaire tax acknowledged this week that the proposed one-time levy may end up becoming permanent. Economics professor Emmanuel Saez made the admission during a Tuesday debate against Arthur Laffer, the father of trickle-down economics, at the University of California, Berkeley. The billionaires tax — proposed by the Service Employees International Union–United Healthcare Workers West — would impose a one-time 5% levy on California residents with assets exceeding $1 billion. Supporters say the tax is needed to address healthcare funding gaps tied to cuts to Medicaid and other federal programs implemented last year. The proposal

Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz is facing a new challenge from a Minneapolis-area mayor who is refusing to back down from flying the original 1980s state flag. The mayor said the controversial flag redesign has left citizens out of the process and stuck with what consider an "ugly" replacement. (Snip) The new flag has become a cultural and political flashpoint in a state already reeling from one of the largest fraud scandals in U.S. history, heavily involving the Somali immigrant community. The flag was approved by a 13-member commission created by the Democratic-controlled legislature in 2023. Critics of the flag

Barack Obama has offered a rare and candid glimpse into his marriage - and it turns out Donald Trump is causing trouble at home. The former President, 64, admitted in an interview that Michelle wants him to step back from public life so the couple can enjoy their later years together. The problem? He keeps getting pulled back into the politics of the day. The former commander-in-chief said Trump's return to the White House is the reason he cannot simply walk away, and that his inability to do so has become a source of friction at home. MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Communist and socialist groups called for a "revolution" at a May Day rally in Minneapolis Friday, highlighting the growing influence of far-left organizations at an event traditionally centered on workers’ rights. Some of those demonstrators denounced capitalism and pushed for the seizure of private property and the means of production, marking a shift in tone from past May Day rallies that primarily focused on labor issues. Former Rep. And as one of his last acts, he is preparing to release a book repudiating his party’s left flank. A champion of liberal causes during his 32 years representing Massachusetts in the House, Frank says progressive Democrats have “embraced an agenda that goes beyond what’s politically acceptable.” “Until we separate ourselves from that agenda, we don’t win,” he said in an interview Tuesday.

"He did win in a landslide, and we will soon be able to give evidence about that," Crowley said. Now, she didn't lay out a timeline or spell out exactly what the evidence would look like, but the message was clear.

North Korea has updated its constitution to require a retaliatory nuclear strike if leader Kim Jong Un is assassinated, according to a report. The Telegraph reported the change comes amid heightened global tensions following the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other officials during a recent conflict. Khamenei was killed in an Israeli strike in Tehran as part of a coordinated U.S.-Israeli military operation earlier this year, Fox News Digital previously reported. The constitutional revision was approved during a session of North Korea’s Supreme People’s Assembly, which opened March 22 in Pyongyang, the outlet said. The Democrat party is facing such a host of seemingly intractable problems -- structural, financial, legal, and ideological -- that it will be close to a miracle if it survives after this year’s midterms. The below deck shuffles -- encouraging illegal alien votes, manipulating the census, making crooked voting almost impossible to check, and stuffing their pockets with illegal contributions through ACT Blue and pay-to-play schemes of USAID and NGOs -- are all suddenly being exposed and blocked. Empty Pockets Jeff Childers has done a thorough job explaining the party’s terminal crisis. Being short of funds is a good start.

President Trump on Sunday appeared to reject Iran’s latest proposal in ongoing negotiations over a peace deal, calling the Islamic republic’s offer “totally unacceptable.” “I have just read the response from Iran’s so-called ‘Representatives.’ I don’t like it — TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. The president also warned the country against “playing games” after Tehran refused to discuss its nuclear program in its latest response to America’s peace proposal through Pakistani mediators. Trump slammed the rogue Mideast country for delaying negotiations historically, ranting on the social platform.

BOSTON — A bill quietly moving through the Massachusetts Senate — and one Gov. As night follows day, progressives’ response to the Virginia Supreme Court’s tossing of Gov. Abigail Spanberger’s outrageous gerrymander is to demand an instant court-packing move to undo it. To lefties driving today’s Democratic Party, it’s not “democracy” unless it’s hard-wired to let them run roughshod — and when their power-grab schemes run afoul of the rule of law, their only answer is a fresh scheme.
