Victor Davis Hanson weighs in on how the war with Iran is going after two weeks for "The Daily Signal." VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: We’re just completing the second week of the so-called Iran war — this effort of the United States to bomb the theocracy into submission so they will cancel their missile and nuclear programs and to champion the popular protests on the streets that have some potential to get rid of the regime itself. But it’s a very surreal war. I haven’t seen — I don’t think any of us have seen — anything like it. It’s only been two weeks and we’re told that it’s dragging on

When someone becomes a constant critic, I stop trusting what they are saying. A critic is usually someone who is prejudiced and biased against whom they are speaking. The lefty reporting on the war with Iran is a perfect example. We hear Iran has mined Hormuz and oil isn't being shipped. We hear about Iran launching drone attacks and bombing their neighbors. We hear Iran has activated terror cells around the world. We hear how our allies are not supporting the war effort. It's constant and it's all pro-Iran. It's a bad joke. The truth is Iran has been hit hard and is losing the war. Most of their 'leaders' are dead. They are steadily losing their ability to wage war, and their attacks have caused minimal damage. The same regarding terrorist attacks.

Tousi TV and Yair Pinto on TBN Israel. All other sources are unbearable to watch once you have seen the level of detail from these. Tousi has relatives (including his father) in Tehran and they manage to get him videos and a sense of the mood right through the internet blackout. Nobody untrusted could receive that stuff, as the xmission is dangerous. TBN Israel has the inside dope on the military aspect - Yair Pinto himself is a tank commander, so they get that stuff and they can explain the military angle. Everyone else is a horrible bore, except Centcom, DOW, and our favorite president.

I know that everyone is saying that we don't want to take part in nation building, but Iran is not like Venezuela. I don't see how we could allow an Islamist to stay in power. China, Russia and North Korea will be more than happy to rebuild and re-arm them. I don't know if Reza Pahlavi is the right guy, but it should be the Persians not the Islamists who govern Iran. Otherwise we'll end up in the same situation in ten years.

There was a small poll taken on X that I answered. It asked wich of the listed organizations losted were the most dangerous to the US? A. Iran B. Russia C. China D. Hezbollah E. Democrap Party I fully believe that my answer, E is without doubt the correct one. That organization the most dangerous, evil entity facing America today! Unfortunately, it is in a position of trust among many citizens who are prepared to do as much irreparable damage as they possibly can. Consider every single presidential assassin in history has been a Democrap, 85-90 percent of all prisoners are Democraps, 85-90% of all car-jackers, murderers, bank robbers, burglars and Paedophile Politicians are Democraps!

What the Orwellian news media and the Democrats are doing is not new. They're trying to convince the American people that the war is aimless and already lost. It's from the Walter Cronkite media playbook - - convincing the people that the Tet Offensive was a huge victory for the Communists in the Vietnam War, and the Americans might as well throw in the towel. Only years later we learned that it was a total lie and even the enemy believed that their Tet Offensive was a failure.

There has been a lot of war coverage posted by the military, the President, and most conservative outlets. There’s no real excuse to claim ignorance unless you’re just a person who prefers to believe a befuddled talking head liberal with zero military background tying themselves in knots to push a negative narrative. If you don’t understand by now that our media are a bunch of America hating, lying jackals you are a lost cause.

Funny, I don't recall George Patton or Douglas MacArthur ever sending daily reports from the Front to keep the American people informed. The did not forward their battle plans or timelines either. They reported on the surrender of the armies that they destroyed and that seemed to be enough at the time.

Yeah, #6. That is a reasonable assessment. Suffice to say, shia islam in Iran needs to be shown the door. Persian influence needs to enter the room. And Christianity again. The people of iran are helping now to choose their destiny. They keep the IDF well-appraised as to the movements of iran's secret police force aka the Basij. Basij is on its last breath. More of them are soon to be dispatched. The people of iran are winning. What little is left of K's regime will soon cease to exist. A non-muslim government awaits. Only loose end at this point, find and confiscate the regime's enriched uranium. Leftists and our own msm are losing the propaganda war.

The FBI's Criminal Division is handling the probe, which has been underway for some time, one source said. The FBI declined to comment. Kent did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

A Christian couple’s years-long fight to regain custody of their daughters from the Swedish government was dealt a major setback last week after a top European court rejected their plea for help. The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) ruled the case brought by Daniel and Bianca Samson "inadmissible" on March 10, a final decision that cannot be appealed. According to Alliance Defending Freedom International, which is supporting the family’s legal effort, the children have been separated from their parents since December 2022. ADF International said the case began after the couple’s eldest daughter, Sara, then 11, made a false abuse report at school

In March 2021, California principal Jesus Becerra was confronted by a clear and present threat to his school. Standing before him was the culprit — a student apparently so dangerous that Becerra had to act without delay to protect the entire Viejo Elementary School in the Capistrano Unified School District. The little girl is known only as B.B. in federal filings, but her actions were so heinous that a parent alerted Becerra to take all necessary action. Beccera showed B.B. the incriminating evidence: a picture of children holding hands with the words “any life” written under “Black Lives Matter.” Confronting the little girl, Becerra allegedly called the paper “racist.”

Others in the room also found it “hilarious” and joined the president’s reaction, while one senior intelligence official “has not stopped laughing about it for days,” said one person familiar with the briefing.

President Gustavo Petro’s proposal to move toward a dual citizenship arrangement between Colombia and Venezuela for citizens who have lived in both countries has opened a new front in the debate over the relationship between the two nations, which share a history and a border. The initiative aims to allow citizens of both countries—who share a common history on both sides of the border—to hold both Colombian and Venezuelan citizenship simultaneously, with access to civil, political, and economic rights in both countries. The proposal comes amid a process of political rapprochement between Bogotá and Caracas, in which the two governments are trying to deepen cooperation in trade, energy, and border security.
