The son of the last Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, called on the country’s military, police, and security forces to abandon the “crumbling” Islamist regime of the Ayatollah amid U.S. and Israeli strikes on Saturday. Decisive moments lie before us,” the exiled crown prince of Iran said amid a major military operation launched in the early hours of Saturday by U.S. President Donald Trump in conjunction with Israeli forces targeting the rogue nation’s missile programme and leadership apparatus. In a statement on social media, Reza Pahlavi said that the military operation initiated by President Trump should be seen as a “humanitarian intervention” targeting the Islamist regime —

Reza, please just stay away. Memories are long and better governance than you can offer is needed in Iran. He thinks that because daddy was the Shah he is entitled to rule. The Shah was overthrown because numerous Iranians were tired of secret police and thought (mistakenly) that Khomeini was better.

The military can show their lack of defiance by surrendering their weapons. They can be donated to the families of those that they murdered.

FTA, Pahlavi: '“You have sworn an oath to protect Iran and the Iranian nation, not the Islamic Republic and its leaders.' I'd be very interested to read an English translation of that oath. Per Wm. Shirer's 'Rise and Fall..... , the Wehrmacht swore their oath directly to 'the Fuehrer' not the German People. Our military swears their oath to defend The Constitution, not whomever is currently CINC. Publishing that oath would be step one to assuming the Peacock Throne. Publishing your oath would be step two.

It's hard to know what to do. The Shah was an autocratic and sometimes brutal leader. In some respects, he could see the rise of the Islamic nutballs in his country and tried to suppress it. The Iranian people saw an opportunity for what they thought would be a better country and were badly mistaken. A once Western friendly and modern country became a lethal theocracy. Women with no rights and dressed in body bags, gays executed, Sharia law and its attendant loss of all rights. Islam is a murderous cult and always has been. Charles 'The Hammer" Martel knew that when he defeated the Muslim Army at Tours in 562 and prevented the Islamazation of Europe. Looking at Europe today, the Muslims are taking over without firing a shot.

Poster #4, some European countries are coming to their senses and are fighting. Look up what Denmark has been doing the past few years. Some new rules...they passed legislation allowing for the transfer of asylum seekers to third-party countries for processing. They advertise in ALL muslim countries of this new procedure and people claiming asylum has drastically declined. Syrian refugees (some there for years) are being sent back since syria is now considered safe, children age one of immigrants are being sent for 30 hours a week for instruction in Danish Culture, laws and language. If parents refuse, they lose all welfare benefits. Muslims are being scattered all over the country, no place can have over 30% muslims in order that no longer will there be 'no go' zones. Quite interesting in what they are doing. Their crime rate has been dropping. A few other countries are taking notice, Norway and Holland. Maybe this is the light at the end of the tunnel.

I have very little knowledge about what kind of a leader the Prince would make. Many Iranians in the US seem to favor him. It is hard to doubt that he would be a whole lot better than the Ayatollah he would be replacing. I wish him and the Iranian people the best of luck in establishing a decent government.

A former New York City resident and U.S. citizen immigrant originally from Senegal, opened fire at a crowded Austin, Texas, bar, killing three people and injuring 14 others. Sources have told media the attack may have been motivated by recent U.S. strikes on Iran. {UPDATE: Shooter Pictured Below Fold} The shooter was found to have a Quran in his vehicle and was wearing what is described as Islamic attire. The FBI is probing the incident as a potential act of ideologically driven terrorism. When police arrived at the scene, they confronted a man with a gun and then “returned fire, killing the suspect,” Davis said. According to EMS Chief Robert Luckritz,

I recently came across a work of anthropology which, more than anything else I’ve read, explains the context in which the predominantly Pakistani (and most notoriously, Mirpuri) grooming gangs developed in Britain. The work is Professor Alison Shaw’s 1980s fieldwork on the Pakistani community of Oxford, which she wrote up in A Pakistani Community in Britain (1988), and subsequently revised in Kinship and Continuity: Pakistani Families in Britain (2000). Like most academic books, it is absurdly expensive to buy, but the revised edition, which is the one I have, is available to download on Anna’s Archive.

President Trump addressed the housing affordability crisis in his State of the Union address last week. “Another pillar of the American dream that has been under attack has been home ownership,” he said in the speech before Congress. He shared the story of a hard-working mom who was outbid on 20 different homes by “gigantic investment firms that bypassed inspection, paid all cash, and turned all those houses into rentals, stealing away her American dream.” Trump said this story is now sadly common in America, but the administration is eager to fix it through an executive order —

The regime of the imams is trying to show defiance after the crushing blow of Khamenei’s death. While many observers look for ‘offramps’ for the US, Israel and Iran to cease the war that’s setting the whole Middle East on fire, signs on the ground suggest the hostilities may go on for a long time. Following the death of its supreme spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iranians have raised the ‘red flag of revenge’ above the Jamkaran Mosque, located in the city of Qom. “According to several media reports, a red banner, which symbolizes justice and revenge in Shiite tradition, was seen atop the Jamkaran Mosque.

The U.S. is a war addict. Throughout its over 240-year history, it has been at war for all but 16 years,” said a Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman at a press conference in Beijing in remarks spread by social media accounts linked to the Chinese government. The U.S. has 800 overseas military bases in over 80 countries and regions. The U.S. is the main cause of international disorder, global turbulence, and regional instability,” the spokesman said. The state-controlled China Daily wrote an editorial on Saturday saying that American and Israeli action against Iran “ignores international law” and “follows a pattern of increasing belligerence.”

We’re overjoyed to see Scouting America, long known as the Boy Scouts of America, ditch the DEI policies it adopted amid the country’s post-2020 racial fever, as well as unwinding the dubious “pro-trans” approach it also felt obliged to undertake. Kudos to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon for prompting the review, which we hope settles the matter permanently. The left painted a bulls-eye on the Scouts years ago, aiming to browbeat a mainstay of wholesome American traditions into culture-war submission. As at many another institution, the folks in charge tried to compromise, betting that enough goodwill would allow the group to continue its core mission. They did not give ground on the oath:

More than 20,000 children are estimated to have been abducted from Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale invasion four years ago, according to the ambassador. Some of the older children who were taken are now being trained to fight for the Russian army, she explains on this week’s edition of “Problematic Women.”

The second Trump administration is very different from the first. As 45th president, Donald Trump was saddled with disloyal officials who constantly undermined his agenda. The Ukraine impeachment scandal, among other events, was the result of this internal subversion. But the second term sets a new standard for loyalty. The administration will no longer tolerate rogue officials making their own policy. This was made clear last week when the administration pushed out Gail Slater, the Justice Department’s antitrust chief. Slater made a name for herself by going against administration policy and insisting on her personal priorities. While some misguided conservatives praised Slater as a “MAGA patriot,”

European governments possess diplomatic leverage and experience in stopping controversial candidates, yet in this instance they chose silence.

The death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a US airstrike has brought new urgency to the question of who will become Iran’s new Supreme Leader. Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the Islamic Republic's founder Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, is a prominent figure in these deliberations and is seen as a relative moderate within the establishment. Mr Khomeini, 53, holds a symbolically important role as custodian of his grandfather's mausoleum and has close ties to reformist politicians. Some politicians inside Iran have seen him as a rival to hardliners who gained sway under Ayatollah Khamenei, notably his son, Mojtaba.

Most of us are familiar with the term “the fog of war” to describe the gauzy details that emerge in the breaking news environment of an outbreak of hostilities. Originally, it had been a description applied to military matters, but in the past generation or so, it has expanded to include the information pathways that emerge when conflicts erupt. What we have sadly come to expect is that news outlets are often the ones operating a fog machine as news breaks. This being a common occurrence, and also due to the sensitivities attached to the activity,

The UK has agreed to a US request to use British military bases for "defensive" strikes on Iranian missile sites, Sir Keir Starmer has said. But the prime minister said the UK had learned lessons from the "mistakes of Iraq", and was not involved in the initial strikes on Iran and "will not join offensive action now". Sir Keir said the basis of the decision to accept the US request was the "collective self-defence" of allies and protecting British lives, accusing Iran of pursuing a "scorched-earth strategy". The BBC understands the US is likely to use RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire and Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean for strikes on Iranian missile sites.

Asymmetrical warfare means applying the strengths you have against an overwhelming enemy’s weaknesses. The goat sex pest mullahs have been utterly humiliated by America's and Israel’s overwhelming military superiority in conventional forces, with our airplanes, drones, and other systems traversing their airspace at will after we established total air supremacy. Our ships sail the seas, unthreatened and unchallenged, while most of the Iranian Navy morphs into submarines. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t have the capacity to strike back, and that doesn’t mean that we don’t have potential weaknesses. Everybody has weaknesses.
