Iran claimed this week to have successfully tested its first long-range intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), a capability that would enable Tehran to strike the eastern seaboard of the United States, according to regime-controlled outlets.
The regime purportedly conducted its missile launch from an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps base in the city of Semnan, firing toward Siberia with the approval of the Russian government. The missile would have traveled up to 3,700 miles to reach its target, though video of the supposed launch only shows an airborne projectile soaring through the clouds. The footage was initially posted on social media on Monday by an Iranian professor and subsequently amplified

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes wildly suggested that residents can open fire on masked ICE agents if they feel their life is in danger under the state’s self-defense laws.
The Democrat, in a sit-down with 12 News anchor Brahm Resnik, warned that Arizona’s “Stand Your Ground” law, which allows citizens to use deadly force if they believe they’re in imminent danger, could become a “recipe for disaster” if protesters clash with immigration officers.
“It’s kind of a recipe for disaster because you have these masked federal officers with very little identification, sometimes no identification, wearing plain clothes and masks,” Mayes said in the Monday interview, calling ICE “very poorly trained.”

The private sector is built on merit and legitimate contribution, so it goes without saying that people without such things have no place in that type of economy. But, fear not, for the government is always there, ready to hand out taxpayer-subsidized jobs to those who could never earn an income where brains and skill actually matter. (Bonus points if the unhirable loser is a third world foreigner who hates the host nation and its people.)
Enter, Athika Ahmed, a new “health ambassador” for some government “youth panel” in Wales. (X) The horror: In Athika’s world, schools only taught useless information, like how to “apply for a bank account,”

European leaders worked themselves up into full-blown hysteria before President Trump spoke to the World Economic Forum this week with wild claims that Trump planned a U.S. invasion of Greenland that would destroy the NATO alliance and the rules-based international order. A couple of dozen European troops were hurriedly sent to Greenland. French President Macron called for an emergency G7 summit. European leaders also discussed implementing a “bazooka” trade retaliation against the United States.
But when Trump spoke at the Davos Summit on Wednesday, these hair-on-fire claims melted away in the face of his masterful speech, which laid out in depth his successful record of promoting global security and ending wars.

Tensions between the United States and Canada have rapidly escalated this week after Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney delivered a rousing speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday, declaring a “rupture” in the old world order and calling on “middle powers” to unite.
The once jovial public relationship between Carney and President Trump has descended into a barbed back-and-forth, with Trump on Friday disinviting Canada from his Board of Peace, which Ottawa was already hesitant to join.

You may recall the controversy over Democrat Jay Jones' resurfaced texts in which he fantasized about the death of political opponent former Virginia House Speaker Todd Gilbert and his children.
Despite that, he won the race for attorney general in Virginia, which has to make you wonder what the people who voted for him were thinking. That was just one of the problematic issues about Jones [snip] Even WJLA reporter Nick Minock reported how people were having fun with it on their Facebook, including asking if Jones got his degree from the Quality Learing Center

Some of us are old enough to remember Matthew Lesko, the lanky, fast-talking late-night TV pitchman who promised people free government money to those who bought his books.
There are, Lesko said in one of his countless ads decades ago, “15,000 programs you can use to get a better job, get an education, or start your own business. Those who know about the programs are the ones who get the money!” Lesko was right about how easy it is to get taxpayer money.
What Lesko didn’t say is that it’s easy to do even when it violates the law — especially if you live in a state run by Democrats.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has started raising money for a legal defense fund after the Department of Justice subpoenaed Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and with others for allegedly conspiring to impede law enforcement. This also comes as there has been massive fallout from a fraud scandal that has plagued Minnesota.
In a message sent out to supporters, Walz said, “Tim Walz here. Last week, the federal government opened an investigation into me. This comes just weeks after a federal ICE agent fatally shot Renee Good in Minneapolis, unleashing chaos across our city. Rather than taking accountability and working to turn down the temperature, Donald Trump and his administration

Many of you may remember back in 2024 I strongly urged President Trump to consider appointing Harriet Hageman as CIA Director for very specific reasons and intents. Watch this video below and you will see why she was my preferred choice.
Representative Hageman has just found an important trail to discover the missing documents, recordings and transcripts that were destroyed by the January 6 Committee. WATCH: (dvideoKeep in mind that former AAG Mary McCord was working for the J6 Committee at the time period being discussed. When the J6 Committee closed, McCord went to work directly with Jack Smith.

Pro-Palestinian activist and former Columbia University graduate student Mahmoud Khalil — who the Trump administration has accused of being pro-Hamas — is going to have to make the North African country of Algeria his new home, the Department of Homeland Security announced Thursday. The move comes after an appellate court decision cleared the way for the Syrian-born activists’ removal.Mahmoud was a key Columbia University activist and “student negotiator” in the violent protests that took over Columbia and swept over many of our nation’s institutions of higher education following the savage Hamas Oct. 7, 2023, attack against Israel.
Comments:
It should be unacceptable for the federal government to continue to deploy ICE agents in masks that alienate and inflame large sectors of the public "to prevent doxxing" while failing to prosecute actual doxxers. There have been few or no prosecutions by U.S. Attorneys outside of Los Angeles. As this article documents, the mask mandate is not fit for purpose. Instead, doxxing must be countered with the certainty of prosecution.
