The US and UK are reducing the number of personnel at the Al-Udeid air base in Qatar, as US President Donald Trump considers whether to take action against Iran over its crackdown on anti-government protests. Officials have told CBS, the BBC's US partner, that the partial American withdrawal was a "precautionary measure". The BBC understands some UK military personnel are also being removed. A Qatari government statement said the measures reportedly being taken by the US were "in response to the current regional tensions".

For the first time in 50 years, the U.S. experienced negative net migration in 2025 because of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal border crossings and heightened deportation efforts, an enormous victory for the White House as it faces renewed backlash against its heavy-handed enforcement tactics. The U.S. had net migration of -10,000 to -295,000 due to a combination of deportations, self-exits, and a significant drop in illegal immigration resulting from increased border security measures, according to a new Brookings Institution analysis. Those numbers represent a significant victory for President Trump,

One of the most maddening things about the mainstream media is their deliberate word choices in describing people or things that have happened or allegedly happened, with the goal of crafting a specific narrative, and usually one that lines up with leftist talking points on any given issue. We saw it, for instance, in many of the stories about illegal immigrant and suspected MS-13 gang member and accused domestic abuser Kilmar Abrego Garcia, whom the press often sympathetically referred to as a "Maryland father" in either the headlines, promos, or the opening paragraphs of their stories on his deportation to El Salvador

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump was consulting with his national security team Tuesday about next steps with Iran as he looked to get a better understanding of the number of Iranian citizens who have been killed and arrested in more than two weeks of unrest throughout the country. Trump said he believes that the killing is “significant” and that his administration would “act accordingly.” He added that he believed the Iranian government was “badly misbehaving.” But the president said he has yet to receive a confirmed number of Iranians killed in the protests that began late last month,

Crude oil prices rose more than 2% on Tuesday, after U.S. President Donald Trump canceled all meetings with Iranian officials and promised protesters that help is on the way. U.S. crude oil rose $1.65, or 2.77%, to close at $61.15 per barrel. Global benchmark Brent gained $1.60, or 2.51%, to settle at $65.47 per barrel. The Islamic Republic’s security forces have cracked down on large-scale demonstrations with hundreds of people reportedly dead. The government has cut off Internet access in Iran, making it difficult to verify how the situation is evolving on the ground. Trump has repeatedly threatened to intervene

A massive and dangerous Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data breach has reportedly leaked details of numerous ICE and Border Patrol agents at a time when leftist violence against them is high. The Daily Beast reported on the leak to ICE List, which was created by Crust News and explicitly dedicated to doxxing and harassing ICE agents, based on the site's description (not linked here to avoid promotion of the doxxing). If the radical activists have indeed laid their hands on the personal information of thousands of DHS officers, this could spur a massive wave of targeted domestic terrorism. Assaults

Federal investigators have no plans to charge the ICE agent involved in the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good, and the Justice Department won't open a civil rights investigation into the incident from last week in Minneapolis. The agent fired three shots after Good, 37, accelerated her SUV while he was in front of the car during an immigration enforcement operation that Good and other anti-ICE activists were attempting to obstruct. The FBI took over the case from local authorities, and continues to review his conduct and physical evidence, including his service weapon. However, sources close to the investigation say the likelihood of criminal charges has decreased, though the decision isn't final.

The Department of Homeland Security revoked Temporary Protected Status (TPS) from thousands of Somalis living in the United States, including the hundreds currently residing in Minnesota, as the Trump administration continues its efforts to crack down on widespread welfare fraud and immigration violations in the state. Somalis were initially granted TPS in 1991 as conditions in the country deteriorated as a result of civil war. President Joe Biden extended TPS protection for Somalis in September 2024. Somali migrants living in the U.S. under TPS have until March 17 to leave the country.

A harrowing eyewitness account from a Venezuelan guard who was on the ground when Operation Absolute Resolve hit — the mission to nab illegitimate then-president Nicolás Maduro — describes an unknown sonic weapon used by the U.S. against his security forces. According to the guard, the sonic blast caused them to experience headaches, disorientation, and vomiting of blood as they were completely incapacitated. But is this report true? Did we unleash some heretofore unknown powerful weapon that literally floored much of the enemy before any shots were even fired? In a Saturday social media post, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt seemed to imply that the answer was “yes.”

It's been a certainty for quite some time that many of the "protestors" tearing up the streets in Minneapolis and Portland, just to name a couple of (leftist) cities, were being paid to be there. Shadowy figures behind the scenes, who may or may not be named Soros, are funneling cash and strangely professional-looking signs into these riots. Ever notice how fast those strangely specific, professionally printed signs turn up? That can't be cheap. There is also a guy who organizes protests-for-hire on the up and up. Donald Trump has ordered his special forces commanders to draw up a plan for the invasion of Greenland - but is being resisted by senior military figures, The Mail on Sunday has learned. Sources say that the policy 'hawks' around the US President, led by political adviser Stephen Miller, have been so emboldened by the success of the operation to capture Venezuela's leader Nicolas Maduro that they want to move quickly to seize the island before Russia or China makes a move. British diplomats believe that Trump is also motivated by a desire to distract American voters from the performance of the US economy before the mid-term elections

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said “Decent Muslim countries cannot believe how weak the UK is on extremism” as it was claimed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was blocking its young people from going to university in Britain over extremism fears. The Financial Times states the UAE revised its approved list of foreign universities where young Emirates could take advantage of their government’s well-funded grant scheme,

"It breeds fraud and crime and all of the other problems that come. So we're not making any payment to anybody that supports sanctuary cities.

I don’t think anyone would confuse Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson with a sharp legal mind. She often comes across as the poster child for what’s wrong with DEI hires. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Little v. Hecox, a case that will likely decide whether laws barring biological males from competing on girls’ sports teams are constitutional. Given that Jackson famously admitted during her confirmation hearings that she didn’t know what a woman was — because, as she put it, she’s “not a biologist” — you knew she was bound to be a real spectacle.

Justice Samuel Alito was on fire Tuesday during oral arguments in Little v. Hecox and utterly destroyed Kathleen R. Hartnett, the attorney representing a biological male student who wants to play sports on the girls’ team. His questioning cut right through activist jargon and forced the case onto solid legal ground, revealing just how contorted the arguments become when ideology collides with biological reality. For instance, when transgender activists are asked a simple question — “What is a woman?” — the response is usually a circular word salad claiming that “a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman.” Using a word to define itself explains nothing,

His advisers need to show him why that’s a bad idea. Trump promised to “discuss this topic, including further housing and affordability proposals, and more, at my speech in Davos in two weeks.” So there is time to present clear arguments that should convince him to quietly drop the plan. If we had an audience with the president, we’d first remind him that the government in a free country has no authority to determine who
