Another Minnesota money pipeline just got shut down, and this one leads straight back to Rep. Ilhan Omar.
The funding, which was tucked into a federal spending bill, was purportedly destined for a “substance abuse clinic” in Omar’s home state of Minnesota.
However, a shocking investigation led by Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) revealed that the “clinic” was anything but legitimate.
During an interview on Fox Business, Senator Ernst detailed the absolute absurdity of the proposal, describing a trail of red flags that would make any honest taxpayer’s blood boil.

Senate Republicans introduced a measure on Wednesday that would make it easier to denaturalize and deport immigrants convicted of fraud.
The bill, called the Fraud Accountability Act, appears to be a response to recent revelations about rampant fraud in Minnesota. Several organizations defrauded federal welfare programs by falsely claiming to be using taxpayer funds to benefit low-income children. In reality, the fraudsters pocketed the cash and used it for luxury expenses and to fund terrorism in Somalia.
The bill would alter the Immigration and Nationality act so that a wider swath of fraud crimes could lead to serious consequences for immigrants who entered the country legally and illegally.

Not only is Karoline Leavitt excellent at her job, but so is Vice President JD Vance, who announced a new assistant attorney general position being created at the Justice Department: a federal fraud czar. Details are scarce at this hour, but local media outlets are reporting that two people were shot by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents earlier in the day on Thursday in Portland, Oregon.

When U-Haul released its latest “Growth Index” this week, it made us wonder if blue states will ever get a clue.
Once again, the index found a strong migration out of blue states and into red states.
“Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee follow Texas as prime destinations. It’s the same top five from 2024 and 2023, although in a different order,” the company said.
The biggest losers: California, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York.
Of the top 10 growth states, nine voted for President Donald Trump in 2024 and seven currently have Republican governors.

On January 7, 2026, 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good attempted to run over and murder an ICE officer. He fired his weapon in justified self-defense, killing her. Multiple video angles show this to be the case. Attempted vehicular homicide is a crime against which officers are trained to use deadly force. These are the facts, and they are indisputable.

Edsall, a Brown-educated snob who relied mostly on ivory-tower academics to inform the essay's perspective.
The roughly 3,000-word essay is four times the length of your typical newspaper opinion piece, which says something about the weight the Times is giving this issue.
Block Communications, which owns Pittsburgh’s major daily newspaper, announced today that it plans to shutter the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, which is now scheduled to publish its last edition on Sunday, May 3. According to the newspaper, the Block family expressed its regret on how this would impact the Pittsburgh region, and that it was “proud of the service the Post-Gazette has provided to Pittsburgh for nearly a century.”
The owners said they lost roughly $350 million on the newspaper over the past 20 years. They also pointed to an outdated labor-management operating environment that no longer made it feasible to continue operating.

Senate Democrats shut down the federal government for two months, and didn't even end up with a T-shirt. Chuck Schumer engineered a 'rebellion' to save face from his monumentally dumb decision to put Donald Trump in charge of all federal operations. All he got from the Schumer Shutdown was a two-month continuing resolution, a promise to hold a vote on an extension of ObamaCare subsidies – which he lost – and the undying enmity of progressive radicals who bullied Schumer into that position in the first place.

The announcement to sever ties with the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change came as Trump quit dozens of international organizations that the White House said no longer serve U.S. interests by promoting what it called radical climate policies and other issues.
