Budget Airline Cancels Its Deportation
Contract With ICE, Citing ‘Political Controversy’

The low-cost Avelo Airlines has cancelled its contract with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Less than a year after signing a deal to carry out deportation flights for ICE, the airline will close its base in Mesa, Arizona later this month. “The program provided short-term benefits but ultimately did not deliver enough consistent and predictable revenue to overcome its operational complexity and costs,” a company spokesperson said. Meanwhile, CEO Andrew Levy cited “political controversy” as their reason for canceling the contract. "We moved a portion of our fleet into a government program which promised more financial stability but placed us in the center of a political controversy,” he wrote.

Did Avelo fly invaders into America in the previous four years? If so, did they have a problem breaking those laws?

Most contracts have penalty clauses in the event of early termination, otherwise they would just be agreements. I suspect those penalties will be exhausted by the Trump Administration.

In an interview with the Swedish news outlet Samnytt, a source within the country’s Migration Agency, which has the power to determine who is granted asylum, residency, work permits, and citizenship, has claimed that the federal agency has seen a drastic overhaul since the 2015 Europe Migrant Crisis. The whistleblower said that not only did the Migration Agency’s culture see significant changes, in which “values” of multiculturalism were prioritised,

The American people are demanding accountability, but the Department of Justice under Pam Bondi is still dragging its feet. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is publicly blasting the Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi after investigative reporter Catherine Herridge highlighted a viral chart circulating on X that exposes a jaw-dropping lack of accountability — zero arrests tied to some of the biggest political scandals of the last decade. The chart lays out a long list of scandals that dominated headlines for years, from the Russia collusion narrative and Benghazi to election fraud and the Biden autopen scandal, and they all share the same outcome: zero arrests.

As an assistant professor at Columbia University, Abdul El-Sayed said he held dual U.S.-Egyptian citizenship. El-Sayed is now running for a Michigan Senate seat, and his campaign says that was a mistake—he's not an Egyptian citizen and never has been. El-Sayed was born in Michigan to Egyptian émigrés. He graduated from Columbia's College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2014 and joined Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health the same year. Around that time, El-Sayed published his résumé on an academic networking site. It lists his "citizenships" as "USA, Egypt." El-Sayed's résumé was removed from the site he published it to, Academia, after the Washington Free Beacon sent it to the campaign.

The Trump administration is set to resume wage garnishment for federal student loan borrowers in default, with notices going out starting on Wednesday. Student loan borrowers in default were given a reprieve from wage garnishment under a pandemic-era pause on collections, which has since elapsed and allowed the garnishment process to resume. A Department of Education spokesperson told FOX Business that "we expect the first notices to be sent to approximately 1,000 defaulted borrowers the week of January 7, and the notices will increase in scale on a month-to-month basis." Borrowers who are in default could see up to 15% of their after-tax wages garnished,

In October, a politically connected illegal alien was charged with ramming ICE vehicles in Los Angeles. He was shot and wounded by an ICE officer, but after a grand jury indicted the illegal alien, an Obama judge threw out the charges. The case was all too typical of how commonplace car attacks on ICE and immigration law enforcement had become and how sanctuary cities had conspired to legalize them. The death of a radical leftist activist accused of attempting to ram ICE personnel with her SUV in Minneapolis, may be the first official fatality, but it’s also the inevitable result of normalizing car attacks, promoting them as

The Big Apple already has universal Pre-K and 3K programs, and Hochul said she will partner with new Mayor Zohran Mamdani to age down and fully fund the program to cover 2-year-olds. “This is getting on a roadmap to continue what has already started in the city with four-year-olds and three-year-olds,” Hochul said on MS-NOW Thursday morning previewing the proposal.
