Border Czar Tom Homan confirmed Tuesday that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is investigating allegations that Rep. Ilhan Omar’ (D-Minn.) married her brother, presumably to help him obtain US citizenship through the fraudulent marriage. “We’re pulling the records, we’re pulling the files! We’re looking at it,” Homan told Newsmax host Rob Schmitt. “I’m running that down this week.” The allegations were first reported by Minnesota-based investigative journalist David Steinberg in PJ Media in 2018. As the story goes, about 35 years ago, eight-year-old Ilhan and her family fled war-torn Somalia to Kenya’s Dadaab refugee camps, where she lived from 1991 until 1995.
