Another illegal alien who was given a commercial driver's license in California, a violation of federal laws and regulations, caused a major car crash.
"Dalilah Coleman’s life was forever changed when an illegal alien driving an 18-wheeler slammed into her and her family. The crash resulted in her inability to walk, talk, eat orally, or attend kindergarten as planned. She was in a coma for three weeks and required six months of hospital treatment before her family could bring her home. On June 20, 2024, Partap Singh—an illegal alien from India—caused a multi-car pileup while driving a commercial 18-wheeler in the Sanctuary State of California.

United States Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) has revealed that a number of American companies are abusing the H-1B visa program to fill diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) jobs. The revelation is especially egregious as some progressive political figures have justified DEI programs and employment as a means to lift up so-called “marginalized” ethnic minority Americans. “This is outrageous. Some U.S. companies are using H-1B visas to staff their DEI offices,” Sen. Schmitt wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “I’ve reviewed numerous examples of hospitals, universities and other employers hiring foreign H-1B workers as DEI bureaucrats. I’m urging USCIS [U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services] to work with us

Amazon has agreed to pay $2.5 billion to settle FTC allegations that the company “tricked and trapped” consumers into signing up for Prime memberships and hindered their attempts to cancel the subscription. FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson said, “The Trump-Vance FTC is committed to fighting back when companies try to cheat ordinary Americans out of their hard-earned pay.”
CNBC reports that Amazon has reached a $2.5 billion settlement with the FTC over allegations that the company engaged in deceptive practices related to its Prime subscription program. The settlement, announced on Thursday, comes just three days into the trial between Amazon and the FTC in a Seattle federal court.

Millions of dollars sent to Barack Obama’s foundation has ended up being donated to a progressive fund that supported anti-Israel groups, accused of setting up encampments at Ivy League universities, according to public documents.
Donations to The Obama Foundation, set up by the former president to build a 19-acre campus including a museum, athletic facility and fruit and vegetable gardens in Chicago, totalling $2 million were instead sent on to Tides Foundation in 2022 and 2023, according to their latest available federal tax filings.
The cash was earmarked to “support local organizations that are working to reduce violence in communities,” according to the nonprofit’s filings.

A trio of rising Democratic Party stars are slated to speak at an anti-Israel convention this week alongside a deep roster of Hamas sympathizers and anti-Semites.
Michigan Senate candidate and former CNN contributor Abdul El-Sayed (D.), Rep. Ro Khanna (D., Calif.), and Michigan lieutenant governor Garlin Gilchrist (D.) are listed in the lineup for ArabCon, an event hosted by the American-Arab Discrimination Committee (ADC) in Dearborn, Mich., a majority-Muslim town dubbed "America’s Jihad Capital" because so many of its city and religious leaders have sided with Hamas against the United States and Israel.
All three of the Democrats are running—or likely running, in Khanna’s case—for prominent political offices.

The Trump administration is warning migrant sponsors to take financial responsibility for them or expect to be slapped with steep fines, lawsuits, or even prosecution.
American citizens who sponsor migrants that end up using taxpayer-funded benefits like food stamps or housing assistance will be held financially liable and could even face criminal charges, according to a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) memo obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The announcement, which is intended for all migrant sponsors across the country, marks the latest policy crackdown by the Trump administration.

Something's up! Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has ordered all top U.S. military commanders, worldwide, to convene at Quantico Marine Corps Base next week for a no-notice meeting with no published agenda. To call this unprecedented might be an understatement. The order covers about 800 general officers and admirals, and each of the attendees is directed to bring their senior enlisted adviser with them; “All general officers in command in grade O-7 through O-10 and their general officer senior enlisted advisers are directed to attend within operational constraints.”

The more we learn about Democrat Mikie Sherrill, current Member of Congress and candidate to be New Jersey's next governor, the more she looks like your average, scandal-plagued DC swamp rat. We reported earlier on her Nancy Pelosi-esque ability to leverage her congressional tenure into remarkable stock market gains, and now we're learning that Sherrill has a scandal-ridden record going back to her days at the United States Naval Academy.
Here's what went down.
Back in December of 1992, two dozen of Sherrill's fellow midshipmen were expelled from the Naval Academy after it was discovered they had obtained and shared the answers to an electrical engineering exam.

A September poll of white-collar professionals shows that 56 percent of U.S. citizens say the huge H-1B visa-worker program is transferring their jobs and careers to white-collar migrants.
The poll of roughly 2,000 Americans and 2,200 foreign workers was conducted by Blind, which is a bulletin board for tech-sector professionals, most of whom are white-collar migrants.
The site reported 56 percent of the Americans polled said “they view H-1B visa holders as direct competitors for jobs.”
Sixty percent of U.S. citizens said that “U.S. citizens and green card holders should be given hiring priority.”
“I think the number is much higher,” responded Kevin Lynn, founder of U.S. Tech Workers, which lobbies against

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on Wednesday tapped former Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Ben Carson as a senior nutrition and housing adviser, serving as the point person to help implement the “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) agenda.
The agency in a statement said Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, will advise President Trump and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins on rural health, nutrition and housing accessibility.
He will serve on the administration’s MAHA Commission and will likely play a role in the agency’s updating of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans due this year.

Donald Trump’s future presidential library will be housed in downtown Miami at a location selected, in part, because of its proximity to the Freedom Tower, a landmark that played a significant role in helping Cuban refugees migrating to Florida.
Trump’s team has for months been eyeing Florida, where the president is a resident, as the location for the library, which they also hope can be part of a larger development that will include an adjacent hotel. It would be the first presidential library to also be home to a hotel development.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley on Tuesday sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, calling on her to stop approving work authorization for foreign student visa holders, citing a recent study that found American STEM graduates have a high unemployment rate.
The senator was citing a Federal Reserve report that found “the unemployment rate of males ages 22 to 27 is roughly the same, whether or not they hold a degree," and that Americans who recently obtained a degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) have a higher unemployment rate than the general public.
"Competition from foreign graduates is contributing to rising unemployment rates among college-educated Americans,"
