Facebook can be a place where silly people say silly things, and I have at times been one of them. But after the recent “transgender” shooting at Annunciation School in Minneapolis, in a moment of gravity I decided to post something obvious to me that seemed less obvious to others: that a boy who thinks he is a girl—or a horse or a dog or a cat or anything else that he is not—is unwell. It may be just a phase that, with time and maturity, he will outgrow. But this delusion, if it persists, does not cease to be a delusion. It becomes something evil and malign,

Hurley says a boy who thinks he is a girl—or a horse or a dog or a cat or anything else that he is not—is unwell. If the Pubbies are smart, they will secretly generate and then promote a telegenic candidate for some office somewhere who is qualified and claims to be a horse. Schumer, Hillary, AOC and the left could no longer duck and dodge questions about who can use which human bathroom when. Horse pee is a much um, bigger question which can't easily be ignored.

Excellent points made in the article. Short version, a boy imagining he is a girl or vice versa is mental illness, just like anorexia, and the treatment must be to help the person see the actual reality, not 'affirm' their mental illness which will eventually wreck their body and probably kill them. Guns are not the problem, celebrating mental illness is the problem.

Teens are kind of predictable. They all want to push the envelope of being different, but not so far as to alienate the peers they so seek the approval of. When I was a teen, being gay was way outside the norm so even the ones who were gay didnt announce it. There was an order to society. So we grew our hair long, wore tie die and smoked. When my kids were teens, it became stylish to be gay. So many of my daughters friends swore up and down they were gay but 20 years later they are all married to opposite sex and have kids. They dont talk about their teen years. Now my grandkids are teens. The goal post of acceptability has been further moved back, so kids have to be even more outlandish to break from the norm. Now they are pretending to be the opposite sex, or an animal, and demanding to be accommodated. Where will the next generation have to go to appear different? The world was a lot better place when being gay was shameful and hidden.

Acting United States Attorney for Minnesota Joe Thompson called a press conference for 11:00 a.m. yesterday morning. I attended the press conference along with several other reporters to hear his statement and ask a few questions. Thompson called the press conference to announce indictments and criminal complaints in eight new fraud cases against “Minnesota men” with such resonant names as Mokhtar Hassan Aden, Mustafa Dayib Ali, and Khalid Ahmed Dayib. Aden founded the company Brilliant Minds Services LLC and operated it with Ali and Dayib out of the Griggs-Midway Building on University Avenue in St. Paul. The business model was built on defrauding Minnesota’s first-in-the-nation Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services program.

Here we go again. The wailing about ZOMG AN ATTACK ON FREE SPEECH is at peak volume ("These go to eleven") again. Much like global warming, it's not really happening. I addressed the mundane and practical reasons for Jimmy Kimmel's suspension in Thursday's Morning Briefing, and in my latest "Beyond the Briefing" video. As I wrote in the promo post for the latter, it was a routine workplace decision. Elizabeth MacDonald posted this on X about an hour after I wrote that (click and read the whole thing): (X) Like I said, just business. Maybe you spent time last week perusing X postings related to Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Aside from the many accolades, conservative influencers did fine jobs identifying left-wingers who not only celebrated Kirk’s assassination, but offered attaboys to Tyler Robinson, the triggerman. Some even called for more violence. If you didn’t have time earlier, scroll through the Libs of TikTok’s and the Vigilant Fox’s threads, for starters. You’ll get an eyeful. “Somebody had to do it” wasn’t an uncommon refrain. Who, this side of hell, delights in an act of murder? What was striking was that many of the posts featured females. Was that the result of sampling biases? Not likely.

In 1965, the Four Seasons released “Bye Bye Baby.” Today, there is a new top hit called “Bye Bye Jimmy,” referring to the recently suspended Jimmy Kimmel. A few years earlier, in 1962, NBC premiered “The Tonight Show” featuring Johnny Carson. It was ranked as one of the greatest T.V. shows of all time. Carson was funny and entertaining. Although he interviewed past presidents including Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton, he “refused to discuss his personal political views on the show out of concern it might alienate his audience. Several decades later, ABC launched “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in 2003.

With the news breaking on Wednesday Night that Jimmy Kimmel saw his late-night show suspended, there has been no shortage of voices of outrage from the left. The squealing and mewling over this has not been heard since way back to… about a month ago, when a similar amount of teeth-gnashing was taking place over Stephen Colbert getting canceled. While I am no fan of seeing possible government leverage being applied to broadcasters over content, this is a result that the same wailing class has been attempting to provoke for years. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker's public relations team is apparently operating on the Keystone Kops level of sophistication. In a recent photo-op, Governor Pritzker appeared with members of a group of people wearing "peacekeeper" vests. One of the people photographed with the governor apparently has a very liberal (hah) view of what constitutes a "peacekeeper," as he was wanted in four states prior to the photo-op, and only days later, was arrested and charged with murder after a smash-and-grab burglary. Some peacekeeper. (X) A CWBChicago article has more details. Less than a week before a crash-and-grab burglary crew killed an innocent man on the Magnificent Mile last Thursday,

The Labour Party government has argued that allowing Sharia courts to operate in the United Kingdom is a fundamental “British value” and has refused to distance itself from a broad stroke definition of so-called Islamophobia, which critics say would brand discussions around Muslim child rape grooming gangs as potentially illegally racist. Pressed on Tuesday in the House of Commons by Reform UK’s Sarah Pochin as to whether the government supported the existence of Sharia courts in the UK, Minister of State for Courts and Legal Services, Sarah Sackman, unequivocally backed their right to operate. The Labour MP for Finchley and Golders Green said:

In myth or fictional movies, there's always a hero who does the heroic stuff. In history, though, there are heroes who perform such incredible feats of courage and valor that they're added to history. Add a generation or two, and that history becomes legend. Add another generation or two, and that legend becomes mythic. When Rome trembled before foreign hosts, in ancient times, one man stood at the opening of a narrow wooden bridge across the Tiber River. After the Etruscans attacked, the Romans panicked, and the bridge behind Horatius had to be destroyed before the enemy could use it. Scarred, one-eyed Horatius Cocles refused to yield, fighting until

This means that even supposedly meek creatures will defend themselves with a surprising level of frenzy and violence. The choice for any cornered creature facing death is to go out with an all-out snarl. This is where the Democrat party movement finds itself. Snubbed at the polls, cut off from sub rosa USAID sustenance, humiliated time and again by the ever adroit Donald Trump, and hemorrhaging its plantation BIPOCs, the party has resorted to obscenities, outright antisemitism, and the defense of criminals everywhere (including drug-runners

In the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk by a violently deranged and hate-filled leftist (yes, that is a confirmed fact), some on the hard Left have been publicly expressing justifications for, and even celebrations of, the murder. These ghouls do not represent America, nor do they represent America's center-left coalition writ large. Many politicians, public figures and private citizens on the 'progressive' end of the spectrum have prominently and unequivocally denounced the killing. This must be acknowledged and embraced with gratitude by all people of good will. The forces of decency must stand together against the cancer of political violence and twisted vigilantism.

Some top Trump officials have made some not-so-helpful remarks about free speech and hate speech, namely from Attorney General Pam Bondi. I don’t think the government should be the point of the lance in targeting people who say insane things. We, as citizens, do a fine job exposing those creeps—there have been hordes of professionals fired or placed on leave for gross posts celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk. We’ll revisit that later, but, of course, CNN was aghast at this, with host Abby Phillip trying to spin this as a move to punish the Left and President Trump’s political rivals. That’s such a juvenile, knee-jerk take.

President DJT. Kirk had remarked on X in 2017, “Jimmy Kimmel isn’t funny.” His observation gained attention again on social media as users reacted to the network’s decision to remove Kimmel following backlash over his on-air comments about Kirk’s assassination.
