Barack Obama Complains About Kimmel and

With the news breaking on Wednesday Night that Jimmy Kimmel saw his late-night show suspended, there has been no shortage of voices of outrage from the left. The squealing and mewling over this has not been heard since way back to… about a month ago, when a similar amount of teeth-gnashing was taking place over Stephen Colbert getting canceled. While I am no fan of seeing possible government leverage being applied to broadcasters over content, this is a result that the same wailing class has been attempting to provoke for years. Case in point: CNN’s media maven Brian Stelter has been weighing in (pun completely intended) on this suspension,

Using the logic of the lunatic left... hold on... I have to play whack-a-mole with all these pop up ads... Back to my post, Using the logic of the lunatic left, if a person never had a TV show then they have been censored. Nobody kept Kimmel from saying what he wanted to say. Nobody in the government is charging him with a crime or imprisoning him. Kimmel exercised his free speech rights and the market exercised its right to fire him. Free speech does not mean speech without consequences.

For those who followed the election, Obama's people videoed themselves going through allies, paying drunks to go vote. Busloads of blacks were brought to polls to vote, which is normal, but then they'd be brought to another poll to vote. On his second run, I think it was Fox who called the election for Obama. He, the wife and kiddies walked out onto a stage, a small crowd cheered, O and family walked off the state and the voting ended. The polls had not closed in many western states when this happened and none of the military votes were counted. So it might be iffy that he won either time.

The absolute beauty of this is that the Left has been pushing the envelope of egregious behavior and media control for a long time. FINALLY they are paying a price for their actions and much of it is coming due because of PUBLIC reaction to their actions. Sure Trump may say he doesn't like something they did, call them liars, and even threaten some type of government action but it is the public that is turning off the Leftists in response to their actions which results in less advertising dollars due to reduced ratings. The management of almost all Leftist outlets are seeing significant loses and can trace it to Leftist behavior by their "talent". They tell them to dial it back. They don't. The axe falls and the typical whing commences. The message is really simple, "We don't like you and we are not going to listen to you or your network". And the worst thing is, the message is being delivered by more than Conservatives. As Leftists have ramped up, Moderates are getting turned off as well. And with all the alternative news sources available, when people leave Leftist outlets, they are finding they are very happy with other sources and are never going back to the old networks. As to BO, he is a spent force. He didn't get what he wanted in the election and his activities were clumsy and panned. His luster is gone and the Left quickly abandons their toys when they prove no longer useful. His ego must be really butthurt.

To put it simply, Kimmel violated the FCC licensing rules and the two major station owners were concerned they would lose their licenses. Kimmel wouldn’t apologize so he got canned. It didn’t help his case that he was losing audience share for many years and the network used this contretemps as an excuse to suspend his show and let use the government as an excuse.

Maine Sen. Candidate Graham Platner Has

Yesterday we learned from a story published by CNN's Andrew Kaczynski that Maine's progressive Senate candidate Graham Platner had identified himself as a communist in Reddit messages under his handle P-Hustle. In addition, Platner also said that all cops are bastards and that white people are racist and stupid. In another since-removed post from 2020, Platner responded to a thread titled “White people aren’t as racist or stupid as Trump thinks” by writing, “Living in white rural America, I’m afraid to tell you they actually are.” And these comments weren't very old. Most were from 2020 and 2021, just a few years ago. Platner was asked to respond and assured CNN that

On Friday, Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, joined by a coalition of Republican senators and one congressman, sent a blistering letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi referring the former special counsel to the Department of Justice's Office of Professional Responsibility and two state bar associations for investigation. The charge? Professional misconduct that is serious enough to warrant potential disbarment. “As part of Jack Smith’s weaponized witch hunt, the Biden DOJ issued subpoenas

Heather Mac Donald optimistically declares “The end of the race hustle.” Heather’s article is long, and data-rich. I recommend reading it all. She credits President Trump with being uncowed by the Left’s accusations of racism, and offers hope that race-baiting no longer works: For decades, pointing out that any action, public or private, had a black target or fell disproportionately on black people was sufficient to discredit that action, regardless of whether it was couched in terms of race or had a racist intent. Want to fire an employee? Good luck if that employee is black; such a dismissal would be presumptively racist. Tempted to criticize a government official for

After a U.S.-led campaign, the United Nations has postponed a vote on a proposal to impose the world’s first global carbon tax on shipping, delaying the decision by one year. The rule was expected to come up for a vote this week as part of the U.N. International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) "Net-Zero Framework." But a majority of member nations voted to defer it after failing to reach consensus amid U.S. opposition. Backed by the European Union and Brazil, the plan seeks to raise billions from carriers that exceed new emissions limits, channeling the revenue toward climate adaptation and clean-fuel projects in developing nations. Washington and Riyadh led the opposition.
