Is there any video of the police driving her around the corner and letting her go? Maybe that's why the police can't provide any more information.

From the video the woman(?) who maced the peaceful protestors said, "Y'all are men telling a woman how to handle their body". I apologize in advance but this woman looks like a potbellied pig. She really, really, need not worry about any men handling her body, that's for sure! Btw, couldn't the protestors file assault charges against her?

When my husband was in the Navy the sailors joked about women so unattractive that they’d throw a flag over them and say they were having sexual relations for their country. Or something like that. It’s an old joke and not exclusive to the Navy but when I heard it I always envisioned a jumbo sized harpy with a big mouth, just like the Little Lotta in the video.

I wasn't there, so didnt see what was done to instigate it. I do know that protestors for any cause can be very pushy and annoying, and they all think its ok because they have God (or right) on their side. I'm not going to assume this was unprovoked. Any time you get numbers of people together for something like that, some of them are bound to be idiots.

Here in Minneapolis, Minnesota, we are gearing up for another Summer of Love, five years after George Floyd. You can feel it in the very air we breathe, which is currently full of smoke from out-of-control Canadian wildfires. ...Given the geography, the FBI wasn’t kidding around: Homeland Security and ATF agents were there for backup, with logistical support from the local police and Sheriff’s office. The FBI took no chances, bringing more than enough manpower, firepower, and horsepower.

If the mainstream media had any self-awareness or integrity at all, the latest Gallup findings on trust in the news media would prompt intensive soul-searching. As Gallup puts it, trust in the media is at a “record low.” Here’s the headline chart: Note that the largest plurality of trust in the media is “none at all.” One more level of refinement: Democrats like the media. Why would that be? Only the media won’t be able to figure it out.

The US military is preparing to activate hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington, DC as a part of President Trump’s sweeping federal crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital, according to authorities. Trump has yet to make a final decision about the activation of federal troops, but the National Guard is currently readying to deploy them, two US officials with knowledge of the operation confirmed to Reuters. The preparation comes as 120 FBI agents from across the country have already begun patrolling DC streets overnight and backing up area cops at carjacking hot spots, despite many lacking local patrol work training, The Washington Post reported.

A pair of Texas friends died less than three months apart after ingesting pills laced with a dangerous new synthetic opioid, and now their mothers are begging US officials to sound the alarm on the little-known drug that’s up to 43 times more lethal than fentanyl. The young men both died this year after swallowing different pills secretly tainted with the deadly, often Narcan-resistant opioids known as nitazenes, which have begun seeping into the US at an alarming rate. Lucci Reyes-McCallister, 22, died January 26 near Houston, Texas, after taking a pill labeled as Xanax that was actually laced with N-pyrrolidino protonitazene, an emerging form of nitazene.

Los Angeles is being urged to abandon plans to host the 2028 Olympics lest the Democrat-run city give President Donald Trump something to “bolster his noxious legacy.” Los Angeles Times columnist Gustavo Arellano whined about Trump’s policies, his accomplishments in office, and his agenda in a new column as plans take shape for the 2028 Summer Olympics to be held in the California city. “It’s a shame that LA Times ‘columnists’ are so filled with Trump Derangement Syndrome that they would turn away such a unifying event as the Olympics, which are expected to generate $18 billion in economic activity,”

On today’s episode of ‘Dems Doing Performative Nonsense,’ we have leftists locking themselves up. The protests against everything related to President Donald Trump continue with Democrats voluntarily placing themselves in a cage to prove some kind of point about the cruelty of Alligator Alcatraz. Look: [Tweet] The photo, posted by Ian Jaeger, shows mostly older, white people enclosed in a small pen with a sign reading “Camp Cruelty: A US Immigration Detention Facility.” Outside are several people apparently dressed as immigration enforcement agents. It comes across as some sort of political masochist fan-fiction.

Leftist protesters formed a “human chain” to lament deported illegal aliens and social media can’t stop talking about it. Not because the 8-mile chain, which took place in Columbus, Ohio, was an effective message that changed the hearts and minds of pro-immigration law enforcement proponents, but because the people who made up the protest all had a lot in common. Watch: [Tweet, video] For a party that complains about how old and white Republicans are, this protest looked an awful lot like a retirement home ad. Local newspaper The Ohio Dispatch reported that “thousands” attended the “Hands Along High Street” protest to stand against President Donald Trump’s administration and its policies.

A government agency has advised British business owners not to shame shoplifting suspects by posting pictures in their shops. Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has issued advice warning that it “may not be appropriate” to post pictures of shoplifters, the Times of London reported. According to the data watchdog, it would be “appropriate” for businesses to forward information to police or to share a suspect’s identity with managers of fellow shop owners.[snip] The advice comes in the wake of police demanding that a vintage clothes shop owner in Wales take down a sign describing shoplifters as “scum” as it might be taken as “provocative and offensive”

Donald Trump has sent an unmistakable message—Barack Obama’s White House portrait has once again been moved. It’s been tucked away where visitors won’t see the grinning image of a president whose tenure was marked by scandal, deception, and failed policies. Unfortunately, it’s not in the garbage. CNN reports the portrait now sits in an out-of-the-way corner, away from guests who don’t need a reminder of Obama’s disastrous legacy and his effort to frame Trump with collusion charges. This is more than redecorating — it’s a statement about accountability and honesty in presidential legacies. By moving the portrait, Trump delivers a quiet but clear verdict on one of the most corrupt

For starters, no mere mayor, even of America’s greatest city, has the juice to pick a fight with the federal government and hope to come out on top. In fact, it’s a joke to think a Mayor Mamdani could even step in the ring. Look: The city depends heavily on federal cash to help the people Mamdani claims to care the most about, namely the poor.

It’s hardly a secret that the Democrats are in the midst of an existential crisis. They are leaderless, fractious, broke, and more unpopular with the voters than they have been in decades. Yet, as their antics have demonstrated during the first seven months of the second Trump administration, they don’t connect these calamities to their bad policies and worse execution. Instead, they attribute their ills to malevolent forces threatening “our democracy” and see themselves as its saviors. How will they rescue the republic? Former Clinton advisor James Carville laid out a blueprint last Wednesday.

NEW YORK — Affordability was at the center of Zohran Mamdani’s winning primary campaign for New York City mayor. President Donald Trump has become the focus of his general election bid.
