In the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, three major actors pursued distinct goals: Israel, Iran, and the United States. Based on what can be objectively and openly assessed, Israel and the United States achieved overwhelming success at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. Iran, while executing limited retaliation, suffered a decisive defeat.

President Trump announced Saturday the United States had bombed three Iranian nuclear sites, including the Fordow site that is located in a mountainside.

An Australian state has asked citizens to surrender machetes at disposal bins ahead of a statewide ban on the weapons aimed at combating knife crime.
Australia’s state of Victoria on Thursday announced that more than 40 machete disposal bins will be available at police stations across the state to allow citizens to safely get rid of the weapons without a penalty before the Sept. 1 ban begins.

“If you find yourself arguing that it’s a good thing to drop nuclear weapons on people, then you are evil.” Thus spake Tucker Carlson last year on Joe Rogan’s podcast after the Daily Wire’s Jeremy Boreing claimed on Twitter that people who condemn the dropping of the bombs and describe the United States as evil for doing so, hate their country.
