The leftist mob is now melting down over Dunkin’s latest “genetics” ad — just days after Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign was slammed as so-called Nazi propaganda. The donut company is the latest to find itself in the liberal firing line after dropping its new commercial featuring “The Summer I Turned Pretty” star Gavin Casalegno earlier this week. The 30-second clip, which was posted on the chain’s social media accounts, shows the heartthrob gushing that his tan is down to genetics.

In recent weeks, a scandal of epic proportions has come to light, confirming that the Obama administration rigged intelligence to concoct the Russia collusion narrative against Donald Trump, and the conspiracy went all the way to the top: Barack Obama himself.
This is no longer hearsay, thanks to two explosive document releases from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. (Snip) But speaking the truth in a rigged game is a recipe for punishment. When the analyst tried to report his concerns, he was promptly silenced by Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), then the Democratic chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee,

WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton approved a plan hatched by a top campaign adviser to “smear” then-candidate Donald Trump with false claims of Russian collusion and distract from her own mounting email scandal during the 2016 campaign, according to explosive intelligence files declassified Thursday. The intelligence came from two memos obtained by the Obama administration in the lead-up to the Clinton-Trump contest and laid out “confidential conversations” between members of the Democratic National Committee and liberal billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

Hello, this is Victor Davis Hanson for The Daily Signal. I’d like to talk about illegal immigration, but specifically about the new president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum.
She’s been very vocal about U.S. policy toward Mexico. For example, she said she would offer legal counsel to her citizens that were here illegally that were picked up, she thought, unfairly or too violently by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. She also said that the United States had no business taxing remittances—that is money that Mexican nationals here, for the most part illegally, send back to Mexico.
She said, “Do not come into Mexican national ground if you’re going after the cartels.”

WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has privately discussed the idea of running for political office next year in Tennessee, according to two people who have spoken directly with him about it.
If Hegseth were to follow through on the discussions, it would amount to a major leadership shake-up at the department that oversees the American military and millions of federal employees. The Defense Department bars civilian employees from running for political office, meaning Hegseth would have to resign to do so.
In a statement, Sean Parnell, the Pentagon’s chief spokesman, said, “Hegseth’s focus remains solely on serving under President Trump.”

For 150 years, Presidents, Administrations, and White House Staff have longed for a large event space on the White House complex that can hold substantially more guests than currently allowed. President Donald J. Trump has expressed his commitment to solving this problem on behalf of future Administrations and the American people.
The White House is one of the most beautiful and historic buildings in the world, yet the White House is currently unable to host major functions honoring world leaders and other countries without having to install a large and unsightly tent approximately 100 yards away from the main building entrance.

Nancy Pelosi appeared rattled and visibly annoyed during a CNN interview this week when anchor Jake Tapper confronted her with Donald Trump’s accusations of insider trading. The former House speaker had joined the program to discuss the 60th anniversary of Medicaid, but things quickly went off-script when Tapper tried to bring up Trump’s pointed remarks.
Tapper began to quote Trump, saying, “Nancy Pelosi became rich—” before Pelosi abruptly cut him off. “Why—why do you have to read that?” she snapped, clearly not happy with where the discussion was going.
Tapper attempted to defuse the tension, saying he just wanted

According to a Fox News release, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino found multiple files related to the FBI activity in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, which included the classified annex to the John Durham investigation, inside burn bags in a secret room at the FBI building in Washington, DC. (snip)Sources told Fox News Digital that one of the documents FBI officials found in a burn bag was the classified annex to former special counsel John Durham’s final report, which includes the underlying intelligence he reviewed.

France, the United Kingdom, and Canada have now joined hands to proclaim they will recognize a "Palestinian state" in September if Israel doesn't surrender to Hamas. That comes despite calls from the United States to release the hostages as a precondition for any negotiations regarding a "two-state solution." In response, Hamas immediately pulled out of talks regarding a ceasefire, emboldened by a move that they see as assuring their survival as the governing authority in Gaza.
In other words, Macron just doomed what hostages remain alive

International law — particularly Article 1 of the 1933 Montevideo Convention — defines the criteria for statehood: a permanent population, a defined territory, an effective government, and the capacity to engage in relations with other states. Yet neither of the two Palestinian political entities meets these criteria.
By choosing to recognize a "Palestinian state" that clearly fails to meet these established criteria, France departs from any international law. Macron's declaration is not a matter of legal recognition, but a political gesture — ideological and electoral — masquerading as diplomacy.

Denver is in financial trouble. They ran a $50 million deficit this year, which is projected to balloon to $200 million next year. Denver’s expenses are systematically exceeding its revenues.
Real-world entities would address this problem with a combination of (1) increasing their revenues and (2) decreasing their expenses.
But Denver is not a real-world entity. It’s a government entity. It plans to do what governments do in government-world: It plans to borrow money.
A lot of it. They’re putting on the ballot a bond proposal amounting to almost a billion dollars. By the time the bonds are paid off with interest years down the road, it would amount to nearly two billion.

A Minnesota man convicted of killing his parents and younger siblings with an ax when he was a teen in 1988 has been released early under a law that Gov. Tim Walz backed. David Brom, now 53, had been assigned to work release as of July 29, according to online records from the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Brom was 16 years old when he killed his mother Paulette, his father Bernard, his younger sister Diane and younger brother Richard at their home in Rochester, Minnesota. Investigators found all four victims suffered multiple gash wounds to their heads and upper bodies
