A Minnesota man convicted of killing his parents and younger siblings with an ax when he was a teen in 1988 has been released early under a law that Gov. Tim Walz backed. David Brom, now 53, had been assigned to work release as of July 29, according to online records from the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Brom was 16 years old when he killed his mother Paulette, his father Bernard, his younger sister Diane and younger brother Richard at their home in Rochester, Minnesota. Investigators found all four victims suffered multiple gash wounds to their heads and upper bodies

Three consecutive life terms, one concurrent life term for Brom, a quadruple ax murderer of his entire family, works out to thirty-four years in Walz's Minnedishu. Not right, but the criminal justice system occasionally works out for some who deserve no mercy. The Manson Family guilty verdicts and the subsequent death penalties in January 1971 could have (but didn't) lead to possible parole in 1978 after their death penalties were reduced to life. In California (and in other states as well), life imprisonment then could have meant seven years. SCOTUS's Furman v. Georgia in 1972 invalidated 700 death penalty convictions nationwide as unconstitutionally arbitrary. In 1976, the SCOTUS decision Gregg v. Georgia again allowed the death penalty. Execution style murderer Gary Gilmore volunteered to be the first in 1977, by firing squad in Utah. Florida's first in 1979 was John Spenkelink, who got the chair. Looks as if that will never happen in MN.

Perhaps the Walz residence --- even when he's no longer the governor should be designated as an official halfway house.

The Walz’s are not just nuts, they’re demonic. A few years ago Minneapolis was set ablaze by rioters on behalf of a drug addicted woman-beater. The horrid smell of burning rubber permeated the city so what did Mrs. Walz aka Vladette the Inhaler decide to do? Why, throw open the sashes of the Governors Mansion to breathe the toxic fumes and thrill at the possibility of dead serfs and smoking ruins. A man axes 4 family members to death including children so what does Lord Tampax do? He releases the murderer back into the community hoping to please his ghoulish wife with more fun and games featuring dead bodies. Minnesota is proof that Leftists can’t take care of nice things. Or anything for that matter. They can only hate and destroy.

Didn't give Michael Dukakis do something like this way back when for some guy named Willie Horton? That did not turn out well back then. Between that incident and Dukakis riding in an Army tank wearing a CVC helmet that made him look like Biggie Rat thoroughly cratered his presidential run.

If Hegseth were to follow through on the discussions, it would amount to a major leadership shake-up at the department that oversees the American military and millions of federal employees. The Defense Department bars civilian employees from running for political office, meaning Hegseth would have to resign to do so.
