The leading official who presided over the U.S. Naval Academy’s use of racist affirmative action admissions policies is being replaced, the Pentagon announced on Friday.
According to a Defense Department press release, Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Michael J. Borgschulte has been nominated to replace Navy Vice Adm. Yvette Davids as the superintendent of the renowned military school. Davids — who was nominated to her now-former position by President Joe Biden — has since been reassigned to be the deputy chief of Naval Operations for Operations, Plans, Strategy, and Warfighting Development.

She cannot be court-marshalled for following legal orders and DEI while probably unconstitutional policy probably didn't constitute illegal orders. That being true her reassignment is nonetheless appropriate - our future military command needs qualified men and women. But I'd be interested to know what experience in service qualifies her for warfare operations and development. Oh! I get it - fighting against heterosexual white men. Okay then.

What a pathetic looking sight, weakness in a uniform. She’s a disgrace, an embarrassment and a slap in the face of the true men and women in uniform who serve and to those who have bravely served with honor.

Per #4, see the photo. Her shoulder boards are wider than her shoulders. And while the male combo cover never looked good on a female, hers is 2 sizes too large to apparently accommodate her hair. Yeah, she oozes leadership and would really inspire others to follow her into battle.
"At no time are race, sex, or ethnicity considered in the qualification of a candidate and there are no associated demographic goals or objectives.” - an absolute lie if ever there was one.

Does anyone have a guess as to how long Vice Adm. Yvette Davids will be at this new post?
My guess is that she will be replaced or retire before 1-1-29.

Of all the services, the Marine Corps has resisted the DEI programs more than the others. My bet is that Lt. Gen. Michael J. Borgschulte, United States Marine Corps will quickly restore a military-based philosophy to the United States Naval Academy. We need to have our future naval officer corps properly oriented--not polluted.

How about this, just remove women from all combat roles in the military? Then go back to WACs, WAVEs, WAFs letting each be commanded by women. Finally, do what should have been done back in 1979, which is to set up a women's military academy letting all branches draw from that unit. It would have been done that way were it not for a bunch of sonless 4-Stars who pushed for the perversion of our entire Military away from being male-centric, in order that their precious progeny could have ALL the advantages that they had had in their careers. While they did end up getting their precious princesses advanced to flag rank, the resultant effect was an effeminized majority male force, whose male commanders are afraid of their own shadows for fear of 'gender discrimination', and female service members suffering large-scale sexual abuse. Putting women in close proximity to men has a deleterious effect on morale and unit performance. We need to stop the madness, now.

She's a woman wearing a surface warfare officer insignia. How did we not hear of her running a ship aground on a shoal or beach?

In a picture accompanying the article Adm. Davids has row upon row of ribbons on her rather small chest. Does anyone know what wars, campaigns, and battles she participated in while earning these heroic awards?

Another DEI hire or promotion...and why always women...it's obvious what the democrats were doing.....hoping to ingratiate themselves with the large female vote for 2024....it back fired...and the men...God bless them all...moved over to President Trump....it's it fun to watch real men take charge...even commercials are getting the message...no more black singing and dancing women....to sell the product...not all black women....I love the black woman who is selling fabric softener.....

#16,17, and 18: you can read her official bio at https://www.navy.mil/Leadership/Flag-Officer-Biographies/BioDisplay/Article/2236396/vice-admiral-yvette-davids/
Looks like she has commanded several surface ships (including an Aegis class [CG] cruiser), and later commanded the Nimitz Strike Group (big time command position). Bio says she participated in Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Iraqi freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
An interesting data point:
"She is the 2008 recipient of the MANA National Latina Organization’s 'Las Primeras' award as the first Hispanic female to command a warship in the U.S. Navy." I'll leave it up to you readers to draw your own conclusions.

Well, at least she/it is white. But she/it must be able, to some extent, bark out marching orders. Whatever these "orders" might be. Guys around her/it, anything you can add?
