The once-vaunted Washington Post is now not much more than a Democratic National Committee mouthpiece, and its opinion pages can be expected to be full of leftist propaganda on any given day. Amazon founder and Post owner Jeff Bezos has tried to steer the outlet toward a more balanced approach, and while he’s arguably had a little bit of success in that effort, old reputations—and old habits—die hard. Which is why it is a bit of a surprise to see the Post’s editorial board print a Friday opinion piece that actually reflects reality and not just progressive propaganda. Correct. I would not be opposed to a third or fourth term since Obama has already set the precedent. Providing that Trump wants to put up with them and us for that long.

The best thing for Trump would be to arrange some sort of power sharing between Vance/Rubio/DeSantis . Get them elected and then leave them alone.

The Washington Post has been a mouth piece of the Democrat party for at least 60 years. It's not a recent development by any stretch of the imagination.

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Saturday to defend his Attorney General Pam Bondi after major figures within the MAGA movement attacked her following the decision not to release the Epstein files. “What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’” Trump wrote on his social media platform. “They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!” The president went on to urge his supporters to unify, saying he doesn’t “like what’s happening.” “We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein,” said Trump.

Iran, the world's foremost state sponsor of terrorism, despite having its nuclear weapons program disassembled by Israeli and American explosives, is still run by the mullahs. And those mullah's mouths are still writing checks their butts can't cash. In the latest, Iran has now placed a $40+ million bounty on President Trump. An Iranian movement has reportedly raised more than $40 million for the assassination of President Donald Trump, as the country’s senior religious clerics make clear that "every cell of the resistance in the West is charged with carrying out this sentence." Iranian leaders recently issued two death warrants, or fatwas,

Some 30,000 illegal aliens were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in June, the most illegals arrested by the agency in at least half a decade, when monthly figures were first made public, a new report states. The ICE data, obtained by NBC News, found that in June, about 30,000 illegal aliens were arrested by ICE. This is a slight uptick from May, when about 24,000 illegal aliens were arrested by ICE. The report from NBC News also includes removal and deportation figures, but does not distinguish between the two. According to the ICE data, more than 18,000 illegal aliens were either deported by ICE agents from the interior

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass promised that illegal aliens would receive cash payments as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have continued conducting raids and enforcing the nation’s immigration laws. On Friday, Bass explained that illegal migrants would receive a “couple hundred” dollars on cash cards, adding that the “money will not come from city coffers but from philanthropic partners,” according to the Los Angeles Times. Per the outlet, the cash cards “should be available in about a week,” and will be given out “by immigrants rights groups such as the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles.”

The Friday news cycle was dominated by reports that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino skipped work and is considering resigning because of disagreements with Attorney General Pam Bondi over the Jeffrey Epstein files and the way their release was handled. Many pundits felt that the AG had overpromised but then under-delivered on possible new revelations in the investigation of the convicted pedophile. The Department of Justice announced Monday that there was no Epstein “client list” and that it was confirmed that he died by suicide in his Rikers Island jail cell and was not murdered. It was a conclusion that left many observers dissatisfied, including, reportedly, Bongino.

The London-bound plane had barely left the runway at Ahmedabad airport before it careened back to earth. Everyone on board was killed, except for one passenger. According to the report obtained by CNN, the fuel control switches in the cockpit of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner had been flipped, shutting down the engines. Investigators were able to get data out of the black boxes, including 49 hours of flight data and two hours of cockpit audio, including the crash.

The good news for Warner Bros./DC Studios is that its new Superman movie is quickly becoming a cultural touchstone, the standard by which all future superhero movies will be judged. The bad news is that it’s the low-end benchmark, representing the absolute worst that a superhero movie can be while not going straight to streaming. Director James Gunn is suddenly the Mario Mendoza of action filmmaking, and his Superman denotes the Mendoza Line, the trough of superhero futility. Or, as political commentator Ben Domenech put it, “This movie absolutely, totally sucks. The CGI sucks. The writing sucks. The cast, which is, for the most part,

A federal judge in Los Angeles is trying to shut down ICE enforcement of the nation’s popular immigration laws on the claim that it is illegally “profiling” people in California. Frimpong was nominated by President Joe Biden and is the daughter of two immigrants from Ghana. For months, the signs have been impossible to ignore: the Democratic Party is in freefall. Poll after poll shows voters turning away in droves—disillusioned by the party’s radical agenda, frustrated by its lack of leadership, and convinced it no longer represents their values. The 2024 elections were a political earthquake, and in the aftermath, Democrats have been left picking through the rubble of a once-dominant coalition. The party’s “next generation” of leaders—Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett—have all the gravitas of a student council president demanding longer lunch periods and less homework. So now the question is: What does a broken party do when it’s staring into the abyss?

The State Department was inundated with emotions on Friday, ranging from tears to open rebellion. The Trump administration moved forward with laying off over 1,300 career officials after the Supreme Court gave the go-ahead in a recent decision. Over a thousand more had already taken voluntary deferred resignations. The move comes as part of a restructuring led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. That includes getting rid of various departments centered on "diversity, equity, and inclusion." I'm going to guess that includes those who gave the order to fly pride-progress flags at U.S. embassies. In response, some flooded the lobby of the State Department
