Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) is the party goober right now. He was part of a five-vote bloc that was against advancing the reconciliation package that cuts taxes, kicks illegals off Medicaid, and secures our border. He was willing to set fire to all of that, all of President Trump and the GOP’s top domestic action items over Ukraine war funding. I’m not kidding...He voted and then disappeared for the remainder of Wednesday night. In the end, the four other ‘no’ votes—Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY), Victoria Spartz (R-IN), Keith Self (R-TX), and Andrew Clyde (R-GA)–all fell in line with the eight or so other holdouts.

Comments:

This RINO represents my district, and I called his office this morning and expressed my anger and upset more than I ever have in the past. He's clearly compromised in some way if Ukraine aid is the reason for his "No" vote...

Hasn't Kilpatrick heard that the US is in no position to keep sending money and weapons to Ukraine because we need to replenish our own stock and pay our own bills? Hasn't he heard that US money has been bankrolling Ukraine retirement funds, while US Social Security recipients are receiving peanuts?

If there was any doubt about a Republican, Rinos are being exposed one at a time slowly but surely. Some we already knew, others not so much so. I really hope their constituents in each's district is paying attention and primaries their *** the next chance. It is very aggravating to see this play out over and over again through the decades.

I have always voted for Fitzpatrick's conservative opponents in the primaries, but our local GOP always supports the RINOS over true conservatives, so it's an ongoing, deep-seated problem.

Don't think of Pelosi much and when I do it's all negative adjectives. But she knew how to get the vote across the line without too much mayhem. So this butthead is ready to increase our taxes and cut off all the other good things because of Ukraine? Oh here's wishing I could vote against you. I don't mind someone having a good argument against a bill but Ukraine? So Americans are suppose to give up more and more for his pet peeve? We must reel in the money machine and lots of work needs to be done on that front. Ukraine is a good place to start. The term RINO is used and know and unfortunately we have to many with that label in both Houses. To my knowledge there is no term DINO. What does that tell you?

I've always suspected that the reason demosluts always vote in a block without any hesitation is because they all think alike, unlike Republicans who seem to think for themselves. Getting Republicans to vote in mass like demosluts is like herding cats.

He is an anti-Trumper whose most recent gripe is the cutback in arms for Ukraine. He was stationed there in the past.

The guy is a complete idiot. He was willing to sabotage the Reconciliation bill because it didn’t have money for Ukraine in it. This would sacrifice much good legislation for something that could be submitted in a stand alone bill. Making himself unreachable showed he was willing to sabotage the GOP effort to make many beneficial changes and to hell with everyone that might be hurt by obstructing in this manner. All the democrats deserve condemnation for their unanimous no vote along with him.

Time for Biden to Step Off the Stage,
for Good

Joe Biden has always been a fabulist. Since he first stepped onto the national stage, he has woven myths about his life. Joe needed the gravitas of good grades and a solid academic background to move up the ladder of national politics, so he invented a student who never existed. Joe threatened to fight a man who asked about his academic chops and claimed he went to law school on “a full academic scholarship.” Except, he didn’t. He claimed he had three degrees from college. Except, he doesn't. He claimed he was in the “top half” of his law school class. Nope. He was in the “steerage” section

If you thought the spectacle of Biden behind a podium was a thing of the past, think again. This week, the former president emerged from his Delaware cocoon to deliver the keynote at the Society for Human Resource Management’s convention in San Diego. A couple of months ago, it was revealed that he was having trouble booking speaking gigs — probably because no one was going to fork over the $300,000 speaking fee reportedly attached to his name. The Society for Human Resource Management must have had a Groupon code. So what kind of wisdom did Ol’ Joe share? Biden was asked about what he’s doing these days. His answer?
House Democrats Are Flipping Out About

Twenty-four House Democrats have called on the Trump administration to close down “Alligator Alcatraz,” a brand-new illegal alien detention facility built in the Florida Everglades. Led by Democratic Reps. Janelle Bynum (OR) and Maxwell Frost (FL), the House Democrats demanded that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Todd Lyons shut the facility down. In the letter, the lawmakers called the facility an “inhumane stunt.” “This remote swamp is notorious for oppressive heat, relentless humidity, severe storms, and perilous terrain infested with venomous snakes, disease-carrying insects, and large predatory wildlife, including alligators and crocodiles,” they wrote.

President Donald Trump’s push to help Americans over the age of 65 may be possible with a provision in the “big, beautiful bill,” which passed the Senate on Tuesday. Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers noted that the bill “delivers on President Trump’s promise of No Tax on Social Security,” providing the “largest tax break in American history for our nation’s seniors.” “The One Big Beautiful Bill provides a new bonus deduction of $6,000 for seniors age 65 and older ($12,000 for married seniors) beginning in 2025,” the overview explained, noting the provision, which does not wipe out taxes on Social Security, would be in addition to current standard deductions.

One year from now, you will not be able to turn around without receiving notice of America’s semiquincentennial jubilee. The jollity of the occasion will not change the fact that it will be seven years premature. The historical significance assigned to July 4, 1776, the date the Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Second Continental Congress, is befuddling. Without victory in the Revolutionary War, which began over a year earlier, any declarations regarding American independence made during the summer of 1776 would have the same significance today as the “declarations of independence” made by the 11 Confederate States in 1860-61.

State Representative Justin Jones (D-Nashville) on Monday filed legislation that would establish a new criminal offense for law enforcement officers, including federal agents at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), to wear face masks when dealing with the public. Titled the Stop American Gestapo Act (SAGA), the Democrat’s House Bill (HB) 1442 would make it a Class C misdemeanor in Tennessee for law enforcement officers, including federal agents, to “wear a mask, face covering, or personal disguise while interacting with the public in the performance of the law enforcement officer’s official duties.” The Nashville Democrat included minor exceptions

Democrats were flustered that they didn’t get a heads-up that Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries would delay President Donald Trump’s "Big, Beautiful Bill" on Thursday with an hours-long speech on the House floor. "No one is upset Hakeem wanted to do this, but to not tell members, 'be prepared, book multiple flights, be flexible,'" a House Democrat told Axios, who was reportedly upset about the challenge of rebooking flights so close to the Fourth of July. Another House Democrat told Axios that a "heads up would have been nice." On Thursday afternoon, Jeffries beat the record for a House floor speech

House Republicans on Thursday passed President Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill" so it can be sent to his desk in time for the Fourth of July holiday. The passage marks a significant achievement for House Speaker Mike Johnson and Trump, who corralled Republican hardliners all day Wednesday in order to get the necessary support. Some House Republicans opposed things like Medicaid reform and caps on state and local tax deductions.

The attempted assassination of President Donald Trump in Butler, Pa., one year ago this month was fake, according to Washington Post readers. Worse, the paper is trying to protect its crazed readers by hiding their comments. Comments to a Post story, excerpting a juicy new book about how Democrats knew all along that Joe Biden was a terrible candidate and couldn't win the 2024 election, revealed just how untethered to reality this bunch really is. It's as if they'd read the Washington Post and come away believing President Donald Trump was Hitler and couldn't be believed or something. These TDS-afflicted readers will be startled

Comedienne Kathy Griffin presented a wild appearance on the streets of Los Angeles this week, catching fans and media off guard. The 64-year-old anti-Trumper was seen without makeup and walking with a man near her $8.8 million Malibu home, according to the Daily Mail. [Instagram] Griffin was also wearing her own t-shirt merchandise from her 2017 Laugh Your Head Off World Tour. [Tweet] Griffin has become known far more for her constant anti-Trump rants and unhinged antics than her supposed comedy. Just one day after House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wrapped up his self-indulgent “magic minute” marathon, the truth is starting to surface: Even many Democrats weren’t impressed. His hours-long fauxibuster—meant to stall the inevitable passage of the GOP’s One Big, Beautiful Bill—ended up accomplishing absolutely nothing for the Democrats’ cause. The only minds that were changed were Republicans who flipped from “no” to “yes.” Let’s not kid ourselves. This wasn’t some bold act of resistance or savvy legislative tactic. It was performative grandstanding, plain and simple—a desperate attempt to look like he’s fighting while doing absolutely nothing to stop the bill. [Video] The bill passed 218-214
