DC Judge Allows All Illegal Migrants to
Seek Asylum, Halting Deportation

Original Article

Posted By: ladydawgfan, 7/2/2025 5:27:00 PM

President Donald Trump must allow illegal migrants to file for asylum, regardless of the impact on his mandate to raise deportation rates, says a district court judge in Washington, D.C. The administration must also “provide relief” to recently deported migrants who may want to file for asylum in the United States, the Wednesday judgment says. The ruling by Judge Randolph Moss may crash Trump’s deportation policy because it would force officials to release migrants, or detain them at great expense while judges consider asylum pleas. The judgment will be appealed, but it argues that the pro-asylum laws passed by Congress decades ago override Trump’s January 20 proclamation, “Guaranteeing the States Protection Against Invasion.”

Comments:

Not just appeal but emergency stay as well!! This is yet another absolute outrage courtesy of a leftist judge who thinks he runs the country!!

I'd be curious to learn if this judge has any children attending a public school in our country. Should a teacher have 20%, or even as little as 10%, of the children in their classrooms, incapable of speaking, reading, or writing the English language, the major portion of the teacher's time would be spent keeping order. Of course, the children in the classroom who would be most short-changed would be the brightest. I have also read that there are children in our inner-city high schools who cannot even read - a skill they should have learned in the second grade. Since we are not competitive with the educational achievements in countries outside the United States, perhaps our teacheers' unions and teacher's colleges should put their energies into educating our children, rather than using them in all kinds of social experiments. (And I have no problem with legal immigration, as my parents were legal immigrants to this country and I am proud to say that I am a first-generation American.)

When was the legal requirement that asylum seekers apply in the first "safe county" they reach suspended, and by whom? #22 suggests volunteer retired attorneys could speed up the hearing and adjudication of asylum claims. Makes more sense than allowing paid leftist judges to interfere with matters that threaten our national security every day. The American people have no obligation to put up with the crime, care and feeding, expense and ingratitude of millions of people who came here to take advantage of the United States at a time when our "president" was unable to care for himself, let alone the interests of the American people.

U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli announced Friday that the FBI has issued a $50,000 award for information leading to the conviction of “an Unknown Subject who appeared to fire a pistol at Federal Law Enforcement Officers near Camarillo.” Federal agents descended upon a marijuana farm near Camarillo, which is located just east of Los Angeles, detaining dozens of “farmworkers,” including 10 juveniles in the country illegally — eight of them unaccompanied, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott. During Thursday’s action, protesters began clashing with law enforcement. Tear gas was deployed to keep the crowd at bay, and at one point, a protester appeared to fire on the agents,

The federal government posted an unexpected budget surplus in June, fueled by a sharp rise in tariff revenues and higher-than-anticipated tax receipts, marking a notable vindication for President Donald Trump’s economic strategy. The $27 billion surplus reported Friday by the Treasury Department stood in stark contrast to forecasts for a $50 billion deficit, representing one of the largest upside surprises in recent budget data. Monthly surpluses typically occur in April, when many Americans file their taxes. Surpluses are also common in January and September. A June surplus is highly unusual.

There’s a reason President Trump’s “Total Authorization” directive to ICE agents made headlines this week. It wasn’t just rhetoric. It wasn’t a PR stunt. It was a direct and necessary counterstrike against an environment that’s become completely hostile to the basic rule of law. This time, the flashpoint was Camarillo, California. Federal agents found themselves under siege while trying to conduct lawful immigration enforcement. What should’ve been a straightforward operation turned into a violent clash. Protesters — some carrying bricks, others allegedly brandishing firearms — attacked ICE vehicles. Windows were smashed. Agents were physically assaulted. In a normal country, this would be a non-story. Law enforcement gets attacked, law enforcement pushes back,

In a bombshell revelation, investigative journalist John Solomon confirmed to Steve Bannon on Real America’s Voice that the Department of Justice and the FBI have been quietly building a major criminal conspiracy case targeting the Deep State’s decade-long effort to derail Donald Trump. According to Solomon, the scope of the investigation could finally deliver the accountability that many in the MAGA movement have long demanded. “I think next week, over the next 10 days… the base, who’s been wondering, ‘Where is all that accountability?’—they’re gonna get some big surprises,” Solomon said. According to Fox News’ Bill Melugin, Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong drafted a tentative decision this week, which sides with the American Civil Liberties Union that virtually shuts down federal agents doing their jobs across several counties. Last night, she made that opinion official. It's absolute lunacy: [Tweets, video] How did this person get confirmed? Well, ask the 25 Republican senators who never bothered to show up for her confirmation vote. I’m not kidding:
