A Drug Cartel Civil War Leads to a Surprising Alliance

Original Article

There is civil war taking place within the Sinaloa drug cartel and the body count is piling up. This story was published today. Twenty bodies, several of them decapitated, were found on a highway bridge in a part of Mexico where factions of the Sinaloa drug cartel are fighting each other, authorities said Monday. Four headless corpses were found by the roadside while 16 bodies were discovered inside an abandoned vehicle, the Sinaloa state prosecutor's office said. Five human heads were found inside a bag at the scene. The killers left a note identifying themselves as one of the factions in the ongoing war but authorities didn't say which side it was.

My first choice would be to see Americans stop buying/using their drugs, but that is a pipe dream. So, I’ll settle for a civil war; and I hope that it escalates with as little collateral damage as possible.

As #1 intimated, the drug cartels wouldn't be so rich and so utterly evil if Americans had enough self control not to use dangerous drugs recreationally. No customers, no market. Tragically, there are millions of customers, and they rule the market. Criminals will meet their needs. Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada, one of the co-founders of the Sinaloa Cartel, was nabbed beautifully. One of the sons of Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman, co-founder of the cartel, doing life plus thirty in ADX Florence supermax, had already been popped by the drug police, and he was cooperating. He and El Mayo were going to investigate areas for landing strips in northern Mexico, and took off, either in a helicopter or private plane. Then the aircraft landed just outside El Paso in the United States. Oh, no! Hold the El Mayo! Doubtless, with billions of dollars at stake, those who want to be El Supremo are going to shoot it out. Corpses on both sides will be headless. Political power in Mexico has shifted from politicos to drug kingpins. I've been there twice, but wouldn't ever want to go back. Life is cheap south of the border.

We vacationed in Acapulco for several years in the mid to late 90's, stayed at the Acapulco Princess villas. It was jarring to see the military on the beach near the hotel, also in front of certain buildings in downtown. There is no money to get me to go back there today.

It's not street dealers who are importing this stuff. If we can find criminal illegals, surely we know who the major importers/distributors are. Unless we don't want to !

Despite Being Fired by Trump, Many Deep

Remember back in Trump’s first term, when the New York Times published an article from an anonymous low-level government bureaucrat who boasted of doing everything he could to impede Trump’s agenda instead of implementing it? The deep state, the Times told us in May 2024, was “kind of awesome,” in that it imposed far-left policies upon the American people no matter who the president was and what he wanted. But Trump moved decisively as he began his second term, firing numerous government employees who were determined to obstruct his agenda. There’s just one problem: many of them are still on the job.

Bits and pieces of information are seeping out of the war-torn battleground called Iran, and it’s not pretty. The media is tight-lipped, especially the liberal outlets, but we got the story. Buckle up! Whenever images of smoke rising over Tehran flash across the screens, whether from Israeli airstrikes or internal sabotage, people in the West instinctively wonder: Why aren’t Iranians seizing the chance to overthrow their regime? Which is a good question, but few know the answer. To start off with, if you believe what the media has been feeding you, then you are about to get a wake-up call that will knock your shoes off. New: CIA Assessment Reveals How Far Obama

A new CIA assessment was released on Wednesday that shows how far the Obama administration went to stand up the Russian collusion hoax. John Ratcliffe announced that "all the world will finally see the truth" before name-dropping James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey as those primarily implicated in the scheme. All three men took "unusual" direct roles in shaping the now-infamous ICA that was released during the presidential transition following the 2016 election. It was that report that would form the building block of the Russian collusion narrative and eventually lead to a special counsel investigation.

My pronouns are "Enough" and "Already." We just wrapped up another Pride Month and, thanks to the Republicans' return to power in Washington, it wasn't as "in your face" as it has been in recent years. Because a big part of my duties here involves monitoring and writing about the loony tunes leftists in media, I can assure you that they didn't pipe down about it. While the Democrats love to portray themselves as the champions of the downtrodden and insist that their policies will right all of society's wrongs, they actually thrive in a world where nothing ever gets better. They would have us believe that race relations

How many Twitter personalities are actually bots? Apparently, a great number. Many, pretending to be human beings, presumptively Americans, are in fact bots created in Iran, China, Russia, or some other likely-hostile country. The same is true, I think, of mobs. Demonstrators can be turned out for many left-wing causes: today, it’s “Palestine.” Yesterday, it was “No Kings.” The day before, Black Lives Matter. To what extent are these protesters, sometimes violent, the same people? And to what extent are they being paid to protest? I think they are, in fact, largely the same people. In the summer of 2021, my organization did an anti-Critical Race Theory tour of the state

The University of Pennsylvania has agreed to ban transgender women from participating in its women's sports programs, resolving a federal civil rights investigation centered on swimmer Lia Thomas. The U.S. Department of Education announced the agreement Tuesday, saying the university violated Title IX by allowing Thomas to compete in women's events. The case marks a significant moment in the Trump administration's broader push to restrict transgender athletes from competing in girls' and women's sports. As part of the resolution, Penn will reinstate Division I swimming records and titles to female athletes displaced by Thomas's victories and issue personalized apology letters to each of them.

Pity poor Jaguar. The British-based luxury and performance carmaker has had a rough go of it this century, but nothing could prepare anyone for the most bone-headed move in corporate history — and I don't mean Jaguar's woke "Reimagine" ad from late last year. Let me bring you up to speed. As recently as 2018, Jaguar sold 180,833 cars annually. Last year, they sold fewer than 33,000. In April — the most current sales figures available — Jag sold just 49 cars in the massive UK/Europe market. U.S. sales figures aren't available yet, but they aren't any better. Jaguar went from selling 1,961 cars a month to 49 in just six years.

The White House is looking into possible criminal charges against CNN after it published a report about an app allowing users to track Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity in their area. President Donald Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem discussed the matter with reporters at the grand opening of a Florida detention facility known as “Alligator Alcatraz.” A reporter brought up border czar Tom Homan’s assertion that CNN should be prosecuted for essentially promoting the app to its readers. “We're working with the Department of Justice to see if we can prosecute them for that, because

Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy said the quiet part out loud about his Democratic Party when he admitted that Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani's communist views are the future of his party. CNN's Kasie Hunt asked Murphy about last week's shocking upset in the Democratic New York mayoral primary when the self-described socialist who wants government-owned grocery stores, rent freezes, and refuses to condemn the antisemitic phrase "Globalize the intifada!" emerged as the victor over disgraced former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Hunt asked Murphy if Mamdani "is the future of the Democratic Party." (X) The senator replied that, "I think his message, his economic message, is the future of the [Democratic] Party."

New Yorkers faced the choice of a miscreant former governor and a radical Democrat socialist for the position of mayor in the Democrat primary. Prior to Zohran Mamdani’s election in the primary, his absurd and speculative plans to provide all kinds of freebies to the citizenry were the talk of the town: Mamdani’s platform focused on a number of issues that have animated socialists in the Democratic Party, including raising the minimum wage, hiking taxes on corporations and wealthy Americans, cracking down on delivery apps, as well as investing in affordable housing and creating city-owned grocery stores. His campaign proposes a new minimum wage law that would raise the wage floor for

They pushed the nation into Vietnam, mismanaged the war, and deserted their own president (Lyndon Johnson), and when President Nixon saved their war, they crucified him on what can now be seen as the utterly absurd Watergate nonsense.

Earlier this year, the anti-American ACLU and Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center sued the Trump Administration over its asylum policy. Judge Moss stayed his order for 14 days so the Trump Administration can file an appeal.

Is he antisemitic or just pro-Palestinian? Is he anti-ICE or just pro-immigrant? However, one thing seems to be increasingly clear. Mamdani is a serious Marxist and that should concern anyone in New York City.
