June 17, 2025, the recent 53rd anniversary of the Watergate break-in, should remind us of the scandal’s scurrilous aftermath. What was promised to be a new millennium of aggressive, yet punctilious, journalism turned out to be a continuation of the Washington Post‘s reckless, essentially untruthful, Watergate reporting, clearly biased in favor of Democrats. While Republicans in the wake of Watergate vowed to be beyond reproach, like Caesar’s wife, they were indeed generally rectitudinous but yet continued the same stupidity that ruined the Nixon administration. Because neither side addressed these failures, they persist today.

Remember back when Bill Clinton was President and Hillary was his co-president?
Back then the ever-slavish media regularly referred to her as “the smartest woman in the room"?
That was never true. Not even close.
She was never a feminist heroine because she “was no Tammy Wynette” and did not “stay home and bake cookies and stand by her man.”
She was always just a mean, bitter, unattractive woman with narcissistic delusions of her own abilities.
And after all the intervening years, when she was Obama’s Secretary of State (a pity appointment because she lost the election to him – better to keep her inside the tent),

Untergang (Downfall, 2004) is a movie about the last days of the Hitler regime, including Hitler's nine-millimeter-and-cyanide honeymoon with Eva Braun.
We are now looking at the final days of Iran's theocracy, which is likely to collapse by the end of the week; one week after Israel began military action.
It is well known from history that, when a country's leaders flee the battlefield, the war is over for them.
At Gaugamela in 331 B.C.E., the massive Persian army collapsed when King Darius turned his chariot to run from Alexander the Great, who was personally trying to kill him.
Once his army saw him flee, it lost its will to fight

With mandate from the American people to destroy the Deep State once and for all, clean out the pedophiles, child traffickers, traitors, and other criminals in Washington (and across all levels of government), Pam Bondi has more important things to do, like making sure the basement dwelling losers who fancy themselves revolutionaires à la Che Guevara don’t (allegedly) refuse service to Jewish patrons. Are these people vile? Absolutely. If they refused service to certain patrons based on religious or political affiliations did they break the law?

Another June and another opportunity to remember that Vince Lombardi was born in Brooklyn on this day in 1913.
In 1964, our family arrived in Wisconsin from Cuba. We did not know a thing about the NFL or what they call American football. In fact, my only reference to the sport was a cartoon that my brother and I watched in Cuba. My only reaction was that the ball had a weird shape. How do you throw something like that? It was a Disney and I think it was Pluto rushing for a play.

Recently, CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson appeared on “The Prof G Pod” to promote their book, Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again.
Tapper discussed the reaction from an unnamed left-leaning podcast upon mentioning his son’s ambitions of joining law enforcement.
“Their joke was about my 15-year-old son, ‘Oh, how does he feel about minorities?’ Like the idea that he wants to be a policeman, therefore, he’s racist. And like, you know, that was the big laugh. And then I got dragged in the comments

It was supposed to be economic Armageddon. That, at least, was the loud warning from academics, pundits, and many in the financial press. Tariffs, they said, would torch the American consumer, spike inflation, and crater confidence. Especially those tariffs President Donald Trump instituted on April 2 — Liberation Day. Instead, something else happened: nothing of the sort. Far from igniting the inflationary firestorm predicted by his critics, Trump’s sweeping tariffs — including a 10% universal import duty and targeted hikes on 90 nations — have coincided with the lowest inflation rate since early 2021. In a striking reversal of the narrative pushed by many economists,

Mass looting. Rampant vandalism. Cars on fire. Policemen assaulted and injured. Bricks and rocks and metal scooters thrown from overpasses. Molotov cocktails hurled at will.
Once again, Democrats don’t just fiddle as “Rome” burns, they cheer on the destruction.
America, this is what they want for the country as a whole. Indeed, their various subgroups are threatening to bring the chaos and violence national this summer. Coming soon, to a town near you?
An amalgam — a perfect storm — of illegal aliens, supporters of Palestine, garden variety criminals and thugs, Antifa members, and even radical Muslims have threatened to visit violence across the land.

Democrats have a long history of inciting violence. Examples abound. From starting the Civil War, to forming the KKK, to violently resisting school integration, to the Michael Brown and George Floyd riots, to the current anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles. Democrat-run cities are typically the most dangerous, poorly-run environs in the U.S. and when you push the oppressor/victim narrative across the media landscape, violence gets put on the menu.
Their rhetoric ramped up during Trump 45's administration when Democrat politicians and celebrities openly called for violence against President Trump and Republicans, even while accusing Republicans of being aggressors.

ICE bad, illegals rioting good. You can bet that’s Democrats’ calculation. Riots have been underway in Los Angeles. Mask-wearing provocateurs are waving Mexican flags. LA is their Mount Suribachi. A lot of people say that if illegals love Mexico so much, then go back home. But they miss the point. What’s happening in LA is about conquest.
Hoisting Mexican flags on U.S. soil stakes a claim. This real estate is ours, declare the troublemakers, among whom are surely homegrown leftist agitators. LA, in part, smells like a George Floyd riots redo. In this instance, federal agents, acting on behalf of American citizens, are being fought.

A week or so ago, I received an email from an old friend in the intelligence community—let’s call him “Smiley”—commenting on my research into the case of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted in April 2021 of murdering chronic felon and drug abuser George Floyd a year prior.
Said Smiley, “Time for you to write a ‘J’accuse’ piece--naming names.” He was referring to the powerful public letter French author Emile Zola wrote in 1898 damning the people responsible for the wrongful conviction and imprisonment of French Army Captain Alfred Dreyfus four years prior.

As you’re probably aware, illegal aliens, communists, Antifa foot soldiers, and other agents of Marxism, Islam, and chaos, went to war against federal law enforcement officers rounding up illegal aliens in Los Angeles (estimated to be 10% of Los Angeles County’s population, although I suspect that estimate is very, very low). There’s a lot to say about all this, including the notable fact that the people who were setting fires and throwing projectiles waved Mexican and “Palestinian” flags, and were funded by socialist NGOs, but I actually want to focus specifically on California’s governor, Gavin Newsom.
