Bill Maher says Democrats need to 'do
something' about 'The View' after Whoopi
Goldberg's Iran comments

Original Article

"Real Time" host Bill Maher and Rep. Wesley Hunt, R-Texas, hammered Whoopi Goldberg and "The View" on Friday after the co-host claimed that life for Black Americans is equivalent to women living under Iran's oppressive theocratic regime. Maher claimed that Democrats took a step "back to sanity" after The New York Times took a more "sensible liberal, not crazy woke" position on transgender issues. He then asserted that the second step Democrats should take is to "do something about ‘The View’" after Goldberg's comment comparing life for Black Americans to living under Iran's brutal regime.

Disagree completely with Maher on this one. The First Amendment protects offensive speech... even offensive speech that's also stupid. I, for one, want Karyn Johnson (name on Whoopi's birth certificate) to keep flapping her gums, as it will tend to remove all doubts among the wider public about her intelligence.. or lack thereof. The anti-dote to speech we don't like is more speech... of the kind that the (relatively) level-headed Maher has been dispensing of late about his historical comrades on the left.

Here is absolute proof Whoopi Goldberg is one of the biggest idiots in the Universe as related by Congressman Wesley Hunt. Fta: "Hunt shot down Whoopi's assessment of life in America for Black people, noting the success he's found in the United States as a Black man. "My district in the great state of Texas is actually a white majority district that President Trump would have won by 25 points. As I said, I'm a direct descendant of a slave, my great-great-grandfather, who was born on Rosedown Plantation. I am literally being judged not by the color of my skin but by the content of my character," he explained." Whoopi is just a hate spewing, race baiting idiot, a la female Al Sharpton. I'm sure it wouldn't be beneath her to call Rep. Hunt some of the leftists' favorite black Republican names. I'd love it if Whoopi and her big mouth moved to Iran for awhile to prove her point. SMDH

I wonder....... if the View cast were 4 white male "white supremacists" spewing racist bile against people of color, how quick would ABC shut it down? But spewing anti-semetic, anti-white bile along with historic inaccuracies and liberal misinformation is perfectly acceptable. If the View was being broadcast from FOX, libtards would be rioting in the streets. When they aren't looting Tiffany's.

If America was as racist as Whoopi says it is, she would be poor, homeless, and picking cotton for food money. Instead, she is wealthy and never has to worry where her next meal is coming from.

Democrats in Washington are again talking impeachment. Politicians and pundits are expressing outrage over President Donald Trump attacking Iran without a prior authorization of Congress. It is the Claude Rains School of Constitutional Law where politicians are "shocked, shocked" that Trump is using the authority that they accepted in Democratic predecessors. Fourteen years ago this week, I was in court litigating that very issue when President Barack Obama attacked Libya. Most Democrats supported or were silent on the action.

This past weekend, some 2,000 “No Kings” protests visited American cities in opposition of President Trump’s deportation efforts after violent riots engulfed Los Angeles the week prior. In addition to signs reading, “Due process is for everyone,” and “Immigrants make America great,” there have been numerous violent encounters between rioters and law enforcement, bystander battery and harassment, and even a shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah. Meanwhile, Democrat politicians posted an almost verbatim script on social media, espousing America’s greatness in defiance of tyrants. California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis remarked to MSNBC: “People are very determined to get out there and be seen.

Blue-collar workers have seen real wage growth of almost two percent in the first five months of President Donald Trump’s second term, the largest increase for any administration in nearly 60 years. The 1.7% pay bump is in stark contrast to negative growth under Joe Biden, according to new data from the US Department of the Treasury. Since Richard Nixon in 1969, Trump has been the only president to record positive growth for blue-collar workers in his first five months. He also achieved 1.3% in his first term.

Americans are usually an optimistic people – except when it comes to our country’s future. Right-track/wrong-track surveys have long found yawning gaps favoring the dark view. The RealClearPolitics poll average, stretching back to 2009, reports no point with a positive majority but several where the spread was 40 or even 50 points to the negative. When Donald Trump was sworn in last January, the wrong-track view held sway by 30 points. Followers of the news – which presents the president’s first months in office as a kleptocratic frenzy marked by destructive economic policies and naked assaults on the Constitution – would expect these numbers

The last time the phrase “Los Angeles riots” dominated the national headlines, Patrick Buchanan told a story about order being restored to the city. “The mob retreated because it had met that one thing that could stop it,” he said at the 1992 Republican National Convention in Houston. “Force, rooted in justice and backed by moral courage.” President Donald Trump has been compared to Buchanan before. As streets burn in Los Angeles in defiance of federal immigration law, he may have the opportunity for his ultimate Buchananite moment as he sends in the National Guard.

Of the recent Los Angeles efforts of ICE to detain those who entered and reside here illegally, the governor proclaimed: “Continued chaotic federal sweeps, across California, to meet an arbitrary arrest quota are as reckless as they are cruel. Donald Trump’s chaos is eroding trust, tearing families apart, and undermining the workers and industries that power America’s economy.”

The attack on the court's conservative majority by the junior justice and member of the liberal wing is notably pointed and aggressive but stopped short of getting personal. It laid bare the stark divisions on the court and pent-up frustration in the minority over what Jackson described as inconsistent and unfair application of precedent
