Five tunnels burrowing into a group of mountains, a large support structure and a wide security perimeter: That’s all you can see of Iran’s mysterious Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant from recent satellite imagery.
The secretive, heavily guarded complex built close to the holy city of Qom has been fueling speculation about its true nature and size since it was first made public in 2009.)snip)
Its main halls are an estimated 80 to 90 meters (around 262 to 295 feet) beneath the ground – safe from any aerial bomb known to be possessed by Israel, making destroying the facility from the air a near-impossible task.

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after suffering an allergic reaction, according to a DHS spokesperson. She was transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital. It is unclear what triggered the event. Noem is said to be alert and recovering. Bruce LeVell, former Executive Director of President Donald Trump's National Diversity Coalition, took to social media to send Noem well wishes.

There’s been a new, disturbing development in the case of the Chinese plot to interfere in the 2020 election. (snip) According to the recall notice, intelligence agencies weren’t just asked to disregard the report — they were ordered to “destroy all copies” and “remove the original report from all computer holdings.” This wasn’t routine bureaucratic cleanup. It was a deliberate effort to wipe damning evidence from existence. The FBI didn’t just bury credible intelligence about Chinese election interference; it tried to scrub it from history.

One of the most under-reported stories of the past 24 hours may well be the fact that we actually do know how President Trump's base feels about Israel and Iran, despite attempts by some in the legacy media—not to mention click-servative ne'er-do-wells on X who are mired in engagement farming—to portray MAGA as being fractured over the matter. A lot has been made in recent days, particularly on X, over what some have perceived as a schism forming amongst Trump's base, with, in basic terms, the "America first" side favoring diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict while the more pragmatic wing seemed to be open to the U.S.

There is literally only one bomber and one bomb to make the big badda-boom that could destroy Iran's last remaining nuclear enrichment plant from the air. (Skip) Several VIP commenters expressed enthusiasm for dropping a MOAB on Fordow. Surely, at 30 feet long, more than three feet in diameter, and with 18,700 pounds of H-6 — a high-explosive mixture more powerful than TNT — a couple of MOABs ought to take Fordow off the map, right?
Not so fast. Officially known as the GBU-43, MOAB doesn't make the right kind of boom.
It's all in the name.

The moment Israeli fighter jets cracked open Iran’s air-defense umbrella last week, the professional panic class—President Trump aptly calls them the “Panicans”—went straight to Defcon Twitter, wailing that World War III had begun and demanding that America stay out of it. As if we weren’t already in it. The Pentagon has been clear: our forces are in a defensive posture, which means active radar, ready launchers, and iron in the sky—not a bunch of soldiers sitting around waiting to be target practice. And now, for anyone still half-asleep, the President just announced that we hold “complete and total control over Iranian skies.”

“So let’s just say that again. People are out there taking photos of the names, their faces, and posting them online with death threats to their family and themselves,” Lyons added.

Soy Boy California state Sen. Scott Wiener (D) wants law enforcement to stop wearing masks to cover their identity, but has no problem with violent domestic terrorists wearing masks at the same “protests.” How upside down is that?
We are not talking about peaceful protests here. Those who are burning, looting, setting cars on fire, and breaking windows are domestic terrorists, not peaceful protestors. Peaceful protestors hold placards, set up stands with mics, or civilly disobey. But once they turn the corner to destroying private property, burning cars in the streets, throwing chunks of cement at passing cars, and doxxing law enforcement officials, they become criminals.

Trump recently appeared to declare war on the Federalist Society, the powerful conservative legal advocacy organization that played an essential role in his election both in 2016 and 2024. After one of his first-term appointees ruled against him in a major challenge to his tariffs, Trump launched a public tirade against the former chair of the group, Leonard Leo, who Trump described as a “sleazebag” who “probably hates America” before blaming the group for “bad advice they gave me on numerous Judicial Nominations.”

Little noticed in the hyper-compressed news cycle is the minor revolt among some of Trump's strongest supporters, who are loudly dissenting from the Trump Iran policies.
"Hey, I voted for peace!" seems to be the war cry. John wrote about Trump's split with Tucker Carlson last night. Both Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon have been pushing back on Trump's support for the war, and both have been accusing Israel of betraying the United States by dragging us into the war. They are just the tip of the iceberg. A significant fraction of the "America First" MAGA influencers are inclined to see that policy as "Fortress America,"

Everything about Operation Rising Lion moves so quickly that it seems impossible that Israel's multi-domain assault on Iran's military, political, terrorist, nuclear, and repression infrastructure is barely five days old.
Yet Iran's most important nuclear weapons asset — the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFEP) — remains. Buried perhaps 200 feet underground near the ancient city of Qom, the super-modern facility is probably the most hardened target in the whole of Iran. Israel lacks both the bunker-buster munitions necessary to destroy FFEP from the air and the heavy bombers needed to deliver them.
Hold that thought; we'll come back to it.

For forty-six years, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his predecessors have been waging a war against the U.S. and our allies in the Middle East. “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” have not been just slogans but decades-long causes.
Iran’s war against Washington has at times been overt, as when the regime sanctioned Iranian students storming the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979. For 444 days, fifty-two Americans were held hostage. In the process,

Iran apparently had not adjusted to its new 2025 status—or maybe it had. Most of its bought terrorists are currently either destroyed or anemic.
There is no more ascendant Iranian “Shia crescent” in the Middle East. Russia is no longer a Middle East power, patron, and protector.
The Assad dynasty imploded, flipping Syria from an Iranian proxy into a likely Iranian enemy. Hezbollah, once supposedly the most fearsome of all the Iranian terrorist tentacles, was humiliated and neutered by a series of surreal Israeli operations.

FBI Director Kash Patel dropped a bombshell Monday evening, handing Congress an intelligence report that raises serious questions about China’s role in the 2020 election. According to the report, Chinese operatives mass-produced counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses as part of a broader scheme to flood the system with fake mail-in ballots—benefiting… you guessed it… Joe Biden.
This wasn’t just foreign meddling—it was industrial-scale fraud, enabled by a broken mail-in voting system the Democrats have long been exploiting. The report confirms what many of us suspected all along: the integrity of the 2020 election wasn’t just compromised—it was hijacked.
