The moment Israeli fighter jets cracked open Iran’s air-defense umbrella last week, the professional panic class—President Trump aptly calls them the “Panicans”—went straight to Defcon Twitter, wailing that World War III had begun and demanding that America stay out of it. As if we weren’t already in it. The Pentagon has been clear: our forces are in a defensive posture, which means active radar, ready launchers, and iron in the sky—not a bunch of soldiers sitting around waiting to be target practice. And now, for anyone still half-asleep, the President just announced that we hold “complete and total control over Iranian skies.”

After a recent anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protest in Boston, Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons was asked why his agents wore masks. Protesters have likened masked law enforcement members to "secret police" for trying to hide their identities.
“A lot of agencies were invited to come out two weeks ago in Los Angeles, where we ran our operation where ICE officers were doxed,“ Lyons said.
“So let’s just say that again. People are out there taking photos of the names, their faces, and posting them online with death threats to their family and themselves,” Lyons added.
“So I’m sorry if people are offended by them wearing masks,

A man who was arrested at Saturday's "No Kings" rally in West Chester, Pa., on gun charges is now in a lot more trouble after police found a huge cache of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in his home after executing a search warrant.
Kevin Krebs, 31, was arrested at the rally after attendees flagged him for suspicious behavior when he was seen strapping on tactical gear and allegedly brandishing a firearm. He was taken into custody after police discovered that he did not have a concealed carry permit.
According to the West Chester Police arrest report:

As conservatives, we have a sort of love/hate relationship with "The View." For as long as it has been on the air, we are constantly baffled at how it stays on the air, and who would actually use minutes of their life to go sit in the studio audience, much less watch it at home. However, the truth is that the hopelessly uninformed, vapid gals of "The View" provide some of the best nonsensical content around. Their latest guest to once again put their collective idiocy on display is former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. [Tweet, video]

A former Coast Guard officer has been arrested and faces federal charges for allegedly making numerous assassination threats against President Donald Trump, according to newly unsealed court documents.
Virginia resident Peter Stinson, who served in the Coast Guard as a Lieutenant from 1988 to 2021 and received awards for his sharpshooting skills, is named in the criminal complaint by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for allegedly leveling a host of violent online threats against Trump, ABC News reported.
Prosecutors said Stinson, who was also a FEMA instructor during the same time frame — and "self-identified" ANTIFA member — used his accounts on X and Bluesky

The not-at-all peaceful Los Angeles anti-ICE riots did more than turn downtown LA into a no-go zone and cause chaos and damage; they also cost the city a fortune in police overtime and other expenses. This is what Mayor Karen Bass and Gov. Gavin Newsom condone.
The toll comes in at almost $20 million of our taxpayer dollars:
The anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement protests-turned-riots last week in Los Angeles have cost the city nearly $20 million, with much of that coming from costs associated with the Los Angeles Police Department.

Fresh off his visit and short trip to the G7 in Canada, President Donald Trump is spending the morning in the White House Situation Room going over options as the Iranian regime refuses to surrender its nuclear program. Trump reiterated his position aboard Air Force One that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon and said he wants a real "end" to the issue -- either through force or surrender. [Tweet, video]
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, who has been in and out of a bomb shelter since last Thursday night, knows the situation is serious and is urging Trump to listen to God as he makes his decisions:

No matter what they're doing at the time — rioting, condescending, or pandering — the Democratic elite want the electorate to believe that their brand is compassion. In any leftist's telling of the story, they simply care more than us coldhearted conservatives. (Snip) Democrats long ago went all-in on open borders not only because they wanted to quickly turn illegals into loyal voters for them, but also because they thought it was the perfect pander move to keep the Hispanic-American voters in line. If it doesn't involve pandering, Dems don't understand it.

Everything about Operation Rising Lion moves so quickly that it seems impossible that Israel's multi-domain assault on Iran's military, political, terrorist, nuclear, and repression infrastructure is barely five days old.
Yet Iran's most important nuclear weapons asset — the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFEP) — remains. Buried perhaps 200 feet underground near the ancient city of Qom, the super-modern facility is probably the most hardened target in the whole of Iran. Israel lacks both the bunker-buster munitions necessary to destroy FFEP from the air and the heavy bombers needed to deliver them.
Hold that thought; we'll come back to it.

I haven’t kept up with the College World Series games like I planned to, and I missed one heck of a historic game on Monday. As soon as my editing shift ended and my phone came off Do Not Disturb, I saw a slew of notifications from ESPN about the game between Arkansas and Murray State. (Snip) But Wood pulled it off. He pitched the first no-hitter in the College World Series since 1960 and the third of all time. To top it all off, Wood threw an astonishing 19 strikeouts, which set a new College World Series record,

Egyptian authorities took dozens of anti-Israel activists into custody this past Thursday after thwarting a planned march to Gaza before deporting them, according to multiple reports.
As many as 200 activists were detained in Cairo by Egyptian immigration authorities, who reportedly confiscated passports of the Europeans who sought to carry out a “Global March to Gaza.” Other activists who were allowed to remain in the country attempted to march to Gaza and clashed with local Egyptians, who threw water bottles and used clubs while the anti-Israel activists held a sit-in at a checkpoint, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Some pro-Israel activists gloated about the incident on social media.

Apple’s advanced security measures are turning stolen iPhones into expensive paperweights for looters in Los Angeles.
TechSpot reports that as riots aimed at federal immigration enforcement swept through downtown Los Angeles last week, several major retailers, including Apple, T-Mobile, and Adidas, fell victim to a wave of looting. Smashed windows and stolen goods left these companies counting the cost of the destruction. However, for those who made off with iPhones from Apple’s flagship store, the thrill of the heist was short-lived as they quickly discovered the high-tech security features that render the devices useless once taken off the premises.
Apple’s retail locations are equipped with sophisticated anti-theft technology that disables display devices
