WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump vetoed an Israeli plan in recent days to kill Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, two U.S. officials told Reuters on Sunday.
"Have the Iranians killed an American yet? No. Until they do we're not even talking about going after the political leadership," said one of the sources, a senior U.S. administration official. The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said top U.S. officials have been in constant communications with Israeli officials in the days since Israel launched a massive attack on Iran in a bid to halt its nuclear program.

Today, Iranians have begun evacuating the capital city of Tehran amidst large-scale Israeli airstrikes across the Iran. Israel has successfully targeted the Iran Special Intelligence Headquarters in Tehran destroying it and eliminating the Iranian intelligence chief and his deputy. Russia has also begun evacuating its embassy personnel and Russian nationals from Iran amidst fears of a sudden government collapse of the Iranian regime. We also received reports that the United States vetoed an Israeli plan to target and assassinate Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Meanwhile the IDF (Israel) confirmed a precision strike on an Iranian refueling aircraft at Mashhad Airport in eastern Iran including the Mehrabad airport in Tehran.

Activist Judge Jeb Boasberg is pretty familiar with controversy. After all, he’s been trying to sabotage President Trump’s America First efforts from his bench. Boasberg’s made it his personal mission to screw up President Trump’s immigration policy, especially when it comes to removing violent criminals and foreign national gangbangers. Which leads us to his most brazen move… when he tried to block Trump’s lawful deportation of Venezuelan nationals tied to Tren de Aragua, one of the most dangerous and sadistic transnational gangs in the Western Hemisphere.Boasberg tried to portray these violent illegals as innocent victims, even getting all poetic in a court opinion that sounded more like a theatrical monologue

The Dem Minnesota state lawmaker who was assassinated by a crazed gunman in a rubber mask crossed party lines just days earlier and made a critical vote revoking health care coverage for illegal migrants.
Melissa Hortman, the state House Democratic leader, was the only member of her party to side with Republicans and vote to repeal taxpayer-funded healthcare coverage for adult illegal immigrants as part of this year’s budget bill.
She and her husband were gunned down on Saturday in Brooklyn Park just outside of Minneapolis, shortly after the same assassin is believed to have gravely wounded Democratic state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette.

While thousands of liberals and left-wingers protested President Donald Trump’s agenda across the country on Saturday, many top Democrats were celebrating the lavish wedding of former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin and Alex Soros, the son of left-wing megadonor George Soros. An attendee at the event told the Daily Caller News Foundation that big-name guests included former Vice President Kamala Harris, Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York and Democratic Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California. Failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton also attended the wedding and delivered remarks, The New York Times reported.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has learned Vance Boelter rented a room at a home in north Minneapolis, and a shared details on Saturday of messages Boelter sent him that morning. Boelter rented a room from a home where his longtime friend was living, and that is just one location police swarmed on Saturday as part of a massive manhunt.
Police showed up early Saturday afternoon with a search warrant and a SWAT team. A neighbor captured video of the officers pulling the front door off with an armored vehicle, and you can see police in vests and helmets, with guns pointed at the home. At this point,

One of the many strange angles of the Vance Boelter story is his wife, Jenny. It was known that Boelter is, or has been married, but his wife was curiously absent from early news coverage of Boelter’s murders. Now we know why:
The wife of suspected political assassin Vance Boetler is being detained and questioned after cops found a weapon, ammunition, cash and passports in her car during a traffic stop on Saturday morning, a report said.

An unelected inferior court judge claimed it’s too risky to ask voters to prove they’re citizens in order to register to vote, days after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested a Haitian national for allegedly illegally voting.
(snip) “HSI Miami arrested a Haitian national charged with unlawful voting and casting a false ballot.” The alien “had previously been convicted of narcotics trafficking and weapons violation and sentenced to 10 years imprisonment,”(snip).(snip)But on Friday, District Judge Denise Casper, an Obama appointee, ruled that while “there is no dispute (nor could there be) that U.S. citizenship is required to vote in federal elections,” “the federal voter registration forms require attestation of citizenship.”

After a U.S. district court judge barred parts of Donald Trump’s election integrity executive order in April, a coalition of 19 Democrat attorneys general found a second district court judge to block other crucial provisions of the order. Along with the requirement of proof of citizenship to register to vote, these provisions include measures that strengthen security protections for overseas voting and ensure that ballots meet an Election Day deadline instead of straggling in for weeks on end.
By law, only U.S. citizens are allowed to vote in federal elections. But left-leaning Massachusetts Judge Denise J. Casper ruled on Friday that wannabe voters should not have to prove they are citizens

This Father’s Day, many families will fire up the grill, hand out neckties or whiskey bottles, and celebrate the steady presence of the men who raised them. We honor the sacrifices dads make — their hard work, protective instincts, quiet love. But for many fathers, especially those who’ve served in uniform or carried other unseen burdens, the greatest gift might be something simple but rare: a moment of real understanding. I was 24 years old when I led an infantry platoon into Iraq. We breached the berm on the Kuwaiti border and pushed into cities where the future of a war — and our own identities — was uncertain.

President Trump warned Iran that it would face the US military “at levels never seen before” if it attacked America’s forces or land in a scathing message to the Islamic regime.
Trump said early Sunday the US was not involved in Israel’s overnight attack on its Middle East foe as the two countries continue to exchange aerial assaults on each other.
“The US had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before.

The death toll grew Sunday as Israel and Iran exchanged missile attacks for a third consecutive day, with Israel warning that worse is to come.
Israel targeted Iran’s Defense Ministry headquarters in Tehran and sites it alleged were associated with Iran’s nuclear program, while Iranian missiles evaded Israeli air defenses and slammed into buildings deep inside Israel.
In Israel, at least 10 people were killed in Iranian strikes overnight and into Sunday, according to Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue service, bringing the country’s total death toll to 13. The country’s main international airport and airspace remained closed for a third day.

In the opening days of April, Muslim Fulani terrorists slaughtered more than 60 Christians in Plateau State, in what Plateau Gov. Caleb Mutfwang termed an ongoing "genocide." According to a local source, "More than 1,000 Christians were displaced during the attacks, and 383 three houses were destroyed by these bandits." — Morning Star News, April 8, 2025, Nigeria.
"Eyewitnesses said the attack lasted more than an hour, leaving 103 households destroyed and the entire village displaced. Frustration mounted as residents reported a delayed military response and accused security forces of bias, disarming local Christian youth but not Fulani attackers."

In wartime it’s particularly difficult to ascertain what’s happening. Governments have a natural and healthy instinct to hide from public eyes what is going on, even those fully democratic ones which in peace have some constraints on official censorship. Nevertheless, the fact that so many people around the world have video-capable mobile phones and access to the internet makes it harder to hide what is happening. All week long I’ve been looking at these videos, reading official IDF reports and statements by leaders of involved countries and they show that Stacey McCain and Lee Smith, whose takes I link to below, are in full

House Speaker Mike Johnson rightly stated that Sen. Alex Padilla's thuggy behavior, lunging into the personal space of Homeland Secuity Secretary Kristi Noem as she was trying to give a speech in Los Angeles, was well worth congressional censure.
But that's not how the left saw it. The Los Angeles Times ran an op-ed by a leftwing lawyer-activist with this headline:
Trump’s war on Latinos reaches a new low in abuse of Sen. Alex Padilla
Rep. Ilhan Omar called the apprehension of the hulking apparent attacker on a slight woman giving a speech "lawless" and demanded an investigation.
