CLAIM: “On January 6th…we begged the President of the United States to send in the National Guard. He would not do it.”
VERDICT: FALSE. Trump offered the National Guard ahead of time, but Democrats refused.
Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed Tuesday in a news conference on Capitol Hill that President Trump refused to send the National Guard to protect the Capitol from rioters on January 6, 2021.
Her point was to contrast Trump’s supposed refusal to protect the Capitol with his apparent enthusiasm for federalizing the California National Guard in recent days to quell left-wing riots in Los Angeles, California.
She made her remarks among other California Democrats,

LA Scanner on X made headlines this week after the account started publishing the location of ICE raids in Los Angeles and doxxed ICE agents in the area.
It was then revealed that far-left activist Jack Quillin was the man behind the “LA Scanner” on X account.
According to Amuse on X, Quillin who runs the LA Scanner account “doxxed federal agents and directed protesters to federal buildings before and during the riots. As a result, both the agents and the buildings were repeatedly attacked. Last night he began to realize that he was putting lives in danger stating, “I genuinely hope this doesn’t end in anyone losing their life”

California Congresswoman Maxine Waters has insisted the ongoing riots in Los Angeles are peaceful.
Far-left protesters, criminal opportunists and immigrant activists have descended on the streets of Los Angeles over the past few days in an effort to push back against President Trump’s efforts to deport the millions of people who are illegally residing across the country.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Waters argued that there was “no violence” in any of the protests, despite video evidence to the contrary.
“Even those who were out of step with what we are advocating, peaceful protest, did not create any violence,” Waters said.
“Nobody was shot. Nobody was killed. Get it in your head.”

A Los Angeles news station went viral after its news anchor characterized the anti-ICE riotsas "just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn" on Sunday. During its live coverage of the violent demonstrations rocking downtown LA, ABC7 Los Angeles anchor Jory Rand cautioned law enforcement from escalating tensions by interfering. "It could turn very volatile if you move law enforcement in there in the wrong way, and turn what is just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn into a massive confrontation and altercation between officers and demonstrators," he said.

Immigrants don’t need to have the right to vote to affect elections in the United States — simply by being here, they can tip the scales. The apportionment of House seats and votes in the Electoral College among the states is based on total population — not citizenship or legal status. The Census Bureau is clear that naturalized citizens, as well as non-citizens such as green card holders, foreign students, guestworkers and illegal immigrants are captured in the census every 10 years.

In Alaska, we seem to have a little of everything. We have great hunting and fishing, awe-inspiring scenery, and a landscape that's vast beyond our ability to easily comprehend. We have vast mineral resources, vast energy resources, great, warm, friendly people, and much more.
And, as seems to be the way of things in these times, we have a few disaffected commies who decided to emulate their ideological brethren and organize a protest of the Anchorage Correctional Complex, where 40 illegal aliens are housed awaiting repatriation.
It didn't seem like their hearts were really in it.

FBI Director Kash Patel said the Bureau is investigating the source of funding that is fueling the riots in Los Angeles, California.
Sections of Los Angeles have seen rioters engaging in property damage, looting stores, clashing with law enforcement authorities, and vandalizing police vehicles. The riots are a response to a series of raids Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) carried out in the area last week. However, many view the unrest as a statement against the Trump administration’s mass deportations of illegal immigrants.
In a statement to Just the News, Patel confirmed that the FBI “is investigating any and all monetary connections responsible for these riots.”

I once stood on the haunted soil of Hitler’s first concentration camp: Dachau.
Picture a dozen or so rowdy 15-year-old high school boys on a four-week tour of Germany and Austria. With only our German teacher, Albert "Doc" Kalmar, to supervise, we did everything you’d expect from teenagers. We gawked at the Glockenspiel, ordered beers at lunch, and tried out our awkward language skills on the local girls.
Then picture us stunned into silence by a place where the evil still lingered like a physical presence, almost 40 years after the war. I don't have any more words to describe it —

While LA burns to cheering from urban rioters, the rest of the state – sans San Francisco and Berkeley – is ready to divorce their fellow Californians. They’re done paying taxes that only enable radical cities to further alienate themselves from the rest of the state and, worse, impose their failed pet policies on citizens who want nothing to do with them. The mask is off. In their never-ending quest to dismantle law and order, Democrats have fully exposed their hand in the ongoing Los Angeles riots. And leading the charge in revealing the left's true anti-enforcement agenda is none other than Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.
Since Friday, Los Angeles has been anything but peaceful. Violent anti-ICE riots have erupted, targeting federal agents, police, and private property. President Donald Trump, acting swiftly to protect Americans, deployed the National Guard. Meanwhile, Democrats, in typical fashion, were busy downplaying the violence and launching attacks on Trump, pouring gasoline on an already raging fire. Their claims of having the situation "in hand"?

Even driverless robo cars know a riot when they "see" one. That's why Waymo has temporarily suspended service in the riot-torn parts of L.A. until the so-called leadership gets its act together.
Fortunately, the Waymo firebombings could come back to bite the rioters in the backside. Waymo has offered police help in identifying the bad actors who torched their $200,000 cars.
I hope those bad guys said "cheese" before they got their pictures taken.

If you’re the media, you call it a “mostly peaceful protest.” Normal people might call it an “insurrection.”
But “insurrection” is not quite right, either. “Insurrection” implies a violent revolt against the government by its own citizens, not violence by uninvited foreigners who refuse to leave.
I suppose you could call it a riot, but when its foreigners claiming ownership of the land, it’s a bit more than that.
So, the question remains: What do you call it when foreigners:
illegally enter the country,
refuse our requests that they leave,
assert ownership over the land,
attack our people, places and government,
under the colors of their foreign flag while burning the American flag,

ICE bad, illegals rioting good. You can bet that’s Democrats’ calculation. Riots have been underway in Los Angeles. Mask-wearing provocateurs are waving Mexican flags. LA is their Mount Suribachi. A lot of people say that if illegals love Mexico so much, then go back home. But they miss the point. What’s happening in LA is about conquest.
Hoisting Mexican flags on U.S. soil stakes a claim. This real estate is ours, declare the troublemakers, among whom are surely homegrown leftist agitators. LA, in part, smells like a George Floyd riots redo. In this instance, federal agents, acting on behalf of American citizens, are being fought.

In what is typically a procedural process, it marked the first time in the 22 years since the Board of Governors was established that it had rejected a candidate in this fashion. It was a blow for not only Ono, but also UF’s BOT.
How did Ono nearly get approved as UF’s next president? The short answer is the almost childish simplicity of UF’s BOT, and especially its chairman, Mori Hosseini. They created a situation

Donald Trump made no secret of his willingness to exert a maximalist approach to enforcing immigration laws and keeping order as he campaigned to return to the White House. The fulfillment of that pledge is now on full display in Los Angeles.
The president has put hundreds of National Guard troops on the streets to quell protests over his administration’s immigration raids, a deployment that state and city officials say has only inflamed tensions. Trump called up the California National Guard over the objections of Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom — the first time in 60 years a president has done so — and is deploying active-duty troops to support the guard.
