Restoring Order in Los Angeles

What have the self-driving vehicles done to anyone? Rioters set Waymo cabs ablaze in Los Angeles last night in the ongoing spasm of violence the last several days over federal immigration enforcement in the West Coast metropolis. As is always the case with “mostly peaceful protests,” left-wing demonstrators have destroyed property, blocked traffic, and hurled objects at law enforcement. President Trump has responded by activating California National Guard troops without a request by the governor, in this case Democrat Gavin Newsom. This is a highly unusual move and the first time the president has called up a state’s guard

Throwing a fire bomb, or firing fireworks at officers should get the perp shot. Right then and there.

The Democrats wanted this. They’ve been demonizing ICE for weeks. Karen Bass is openly supporting the rioters. The LAPD has nothing under control. Trump is doing his job. I fully support that.

Ike federalized the National Guard to integrate the the schools in 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1957. He was hailed as a hero at the time by those who knew that it was the right thing to do. Now we have the left criticizing Trump for doing the same thing to stop the "mostly peaceful" (violent insurrection) in CA even though they hailed jailing the J6 protestors for what was a genuine peaceful protest. The only real violence that day came from a stupid Capitol cop killing an innocent woman. No surprise though. Our schools today prefer to turn out ignorant twits who have no knowledge of our nation's history.

Disorder, chaos, violence etc. are the ways of God's adversary. This is the party that claims they are of peace and love. If all they do is live in ways that oppose God, how can peace and love possibly exist?

When rioters start throwing concrete chunks, fireworks explosives at the police an appropriate response is called for: A Water Canon would probably diffuse the situation fast! Those LA Cops hiding under that Overpass looked like dunces...speeding their cars to avoid the missiles thrown from above at them and hiding under the overpasses!

The United States is drawing down the presence of people who are not deemed essential to operations in the Middle East due to the potential for regional unrest, the US State Department and military said Wednesday as tensions with neighboring Iran rose amid deteriorating nuclear talks. “President Trump is committed to keeping Americans safe, both at home and abroad. In keeping with that commitment, we are constantly assessing the appropriate personnel posture at all our embassies. Based on our latest analysis, we decided to reduce the footprint of our Mission in Iraq,” a State Department official told The Times of Israel. Trump later confirmed

President Trump confirmed early Wednesday that the US reached a “deal” with China following intense, marathon trade negotiations in London. “Our deal with China is done, subject to final approval with President Xi and me,” Trump announced on Truth Social Wednesday in full capitalization. “Full magnets, and any necessary rare earths, will be supplied, up front, by China.” “Likewise, we will provide to China what was agreed to, including Chinese students using our colleges and universities (which has always been good with me!). We are getting a total of 55% tariffs, China is getting 10%. The relationship is excellent! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

The short-lived feud between President Trump and Elon Musk seems to be winding down, as Musk expressed regret in an early morning social media post for some of his comments criticizing his former political ally. “I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week,” Musk wrote on X. “They went too far.” While Musk did not say which posts he felt contrite about, one was likely his accusation that Trump’s name appeared in the files of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Musk deleted that post less than two days after making it. He also deleted a separate post that called for Trump’s impeachment.

President Trump’s tariffs will remain in effect for now after a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday to pause a lower court decision that had blocked them. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit granted the stay and scheduled an expedited review of the case, which centers on whether Trump exceeded his authority under federal law. The case involves challenges from five small businesses and a coalition of states who argue that President Trump’s use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose tariffs was unlawful.

The mayor of Los Angeles is imposing a nighttime curfew to curtail the continuing anti-ICE riots and combat looting and vandalism amid the chaos. L.A. Mayor Karen Bass (D.) announced a curfew beginning at 8 p.m. Pacific time in downtown Los Angeles and lifting at 6 a.m. She warned violators that law-enforcement officers would arrest them. “I issued a curfew starting tonight at 8pm for Downtown Los Angeles to stop bad actors who are taking advantage of the President’s chaotic escalation,” Bass said. “If you do not live or work in Downtown L.A., avoid the area. Law enforcement will arrest individuals who break the curfew, and you will be prosecuted.”

The Trump administration is vowing to find out who's bankrolling the L.A. riots because normal American people out there don't like it when they're tax dollars are misused to underwrite arson and looting. Taxpayers didn't sign on to underwrite the left's anti-American public spasms of insanity. Underwriting these bad actors with government grants is tantamount to forcing taxpayers to underwrite the protests by the loons of the Westboro Baptist Church. It's insulting and ridiculous. And now the feds are looking for answers. The Trump FBI, Homeland Security, and DOJ are taking a page from DOGE: they're following the money trail

While it looked like law enforcement came out in force on Monday night to help deal with the rioting in Los Angeles, Fox News reported something interesting happening earlier that evening. Fox's Bill Melugin reported how "hundreds" showed up out of nowhere, some with foreign flags. Then they reported that people were being given earplugs, gas masks, and water bottles, not to drink but to toss at the cops. Melugin also said people were communicating by radio to let others know where the police movements were. But this was perhaps the most intriguing moment, from the local Fox affiliate: the video of the truck pulling up, just giving

Police gave no initial toll but said "several" people were dead and they were working in the assumption there was only one attacker. California Governor Gavin Newsom, LA Mayor Karen Bass and the entire extremist California progressive class have egg on their faces Monday evening as the Los Angeles anti-ICE protests were neutered by the president’s shaming of Golden State officials to take action, his decision to send in the National Guard and the Marines, and his refusal to tolerate violence. Bass, Sen. Adam Schiff, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former vice president and failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris, and the whole Marxist gang decried Trump’s decisions—yet, as we’ve seen before, they had no interest in stopping the rampage and look pathetic now that the president is showing how things are actually done.
