Trump-hating Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett left a reporter in complete disbelief after saying Republicans privately expressed admiration for her. The firebrand progressive made the stunning claim during an interview Sunday with WFAA political reporter Jason Whitely, as the 44-year-old looks fill her party's top job on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee. 'It's become clear, as I have been out in various cities throughout this country, where I've had Republicans walk up to me and tell me how much they like me,' Crockett said, after being asked about recent polling that suggests she could run for higher office in 2028.

Comments:

You have all of these idiots who think they can be president, and all of them are just plain ignorant. I give you this idiot Crockett, and Buttigieg for starters, and don't forget Stephen A. Smith. Newscum is another. And the worst of it is that they have idiot followers. All of them have no idea what it takes to lead this country. What you do when you vote for them is vote for the people who surround them--the so-called advisors, who wind up running things. We all saw that in the Biden administration, and look where that got us!

You keep telling yourself that, girlfriend. Most educated blacks try to lose the ghetto speak when they want to fit into mainstream society and be respected. Crockett practices her ghetto and it falls flat.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) argued in a recent podcast appearance that part of President Trump’s strength lies in his ability to foster a sense of community, especially among young men. The comments from Walz, former Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 running mate, came during an appearance on the “Grounded” podcast hosted by former Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) and journalist Maritsa Georgiou. Asked by Georgiou about the GOP’s efforts to reach high school students, Walz noted Trump has excelled in reaching Americans who might feel disconnected from one another in an increasingly fragmented society.

A recent Democratic ad campaign claiming President Donald Trump’s tariffs have caused prices to “soar” is undercut by recent data painting a much rosier picture of the economy than Democrats’ talking points suggest. House Majority Forward (HMF), the nonprofit arm of a House Democratic leadership-aligned super PAC, announced a series of ads Wednesday targeting 26 House Republicans for supporting the president’s tariffs, which HMF claims has caused prices to skyrocket. However, several markers of inflation fell to four-year-lows in April while Americans’ wages are rising faster than the rate of inflation, the opposite of a trend that occurred during the Biden administration.

The CBO estimates the “Big, Beautiful Bill” would lower tax revenues by $3.7 trillion and cut spending $1.3 trillion, creating $2.4 trillion in new debt. The non-partisan analysis factors in last minute changes to the House Republican version of the bill, including stricter Medicaid work requirements and a higher State and Local Tax Deduction (SALT), a top demand for New York lawmakers.
