Man, it must be brutal being a Democrat right now, breathlessly waiting for the '28 presidential election so you can finally get Trump out of your head and get a good old progressive back in the Oval Office. The problem? The potential candidate list so far is laugh-out-loud pathetic, a sad list of mostly failed “leaders” who almost all carry mountains of political baggage around their necks. You’ve got to choose between the Queen of Emptiness and Word Salads, former Democrat presidential nominee and VP Kamala Harris, the walking meme that is NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the not ready for prime time Illinois governor,

Not content with claiming the Earth is going to spontaneously combust if all the world's nations don't send their residents back to the Stone Age, climate change activist Greta Thunberg is now headed to Gaza. As is always the case with communists, the cause is never the cause. It's just a means to an end, so the target is constantly shifting. Thunberg has decided that donning a keffiyeh and falsely screaming "genocide" will garner her the most attention at this moment.
In her latest stunt, she is now on a sailboat from Italy that is supposedly headed to Gaza to "break the siege."

As a committed interventionist, John Bolton is, you’ll be shocked to learn, not on board with eliminating the Deep State’s cash cow that is USAID.
In voicing his dissatisfaction with the work of DOGE vis-à-vis USAID, he also pledged to bring back Voice of America, the U.S. government’s global propaganda machine. (For the last decade and longer, prior to its dismantling by the Trump administration, Voice of America had also distributed its content domestically, explicitly targeted at a domestic audience, illegally.)

Americans may not have as many rituals as some other peoples do, but we have some. One of those is graduation, symbolizing the transition from one stage of life to another and a celebration of a young person’s accomplishments. (We may actually overdo these, as what was once a transition from college and high school studies is now often celebrated from even pre-nursery school.) Still, it plays a significant part of life, structuring time and change. Parents and grandparents who sat through boring recitals, sports events, prize days, supported kids dealing with difficult interpersonal issues,

Longtime Democratic Rep. Jerrold Nadler slammed President Trump for “sowing chaos” nationwide after federal agents handcuffed one of his aides inside his lower Manhattan office.
The lawmaker’s verbal tirade came after Department of Homeland Security officers entered the Big Apple office Wednesday and accused his staff of “harboring rioters” in a dramatic confrontation caught on video.
“President Trump and the Department of Homeland Security are sowing chaos in our communities, using intimidating tactics against both citizens and non-citizens in a reckless and dangerous manner,”

Multiple press outlets, including Fox News, the Associated Press, CNN, the BCC, and other outlets, ran with a report early Sunday morning claiming Israeli forces randomly opened fire on civilians gathered to collect aid. Sourced by the "health officials" and "witnesses," the claim involved dozens being killed and "at least" 175 injured. Here are some excerpts from Fox News' report, which largely regurgitates the Associated Press' reporting.

Supporters of Paris Saint-Germain and violent opportunists set fires, vandalised shops, and clashed with police on Saturday evening in the French capital following to 5-0 victory Inter Milan in the European Cup. During the match, PSG supporters were seen carrying banners reading “Stop genocide in Gaza” and “Free Palestine”. The team may face fines as UEFA prohibits political messages from being displayed in stadiums. At the time of this reporting, at least 294 people have been arrested, however, this total is likely to continue to rise. Around 30 were arrested as a mob forced their way into a Foot Locker store on the Champs-Élysées.

The war in Gaza continues, and Trump’s favored negotiator Steve Witkoff expressed his frustration Saturday with Hamas’ intransigence in ongoing negotiations, but never fear: the governments of France and Saudi Arabia are rushing in to save the day. They’re planning to come to New York City, which is an odd choice of venue, as it is neither in France nor Saudi Arabia, next month in order to establish that entity that all too many people still fondly assume will bring a definitive end to the jihad against Israel: a Palestinian state. Donald Trump was not given a heads-up about Ukraine’s unprecedented drone strikes that took out a huge fleet of Russian planes on Sunday, according to reports.
Ukraine’s “large-scale” drone attack launched deep into Russian territory wiped out 40 military bombers and targeted five bases, Ukrainian security sources told CBS News.
The attack took over a year and a half to plan and was personally supervised by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the sources added.
Ukrainian officials did not give the Trump administration advance notice of the attack, both Ukrainian and U.S. officials told Axios.

Ukraine has launched a “large-scale” drone attack against Russian military bombers in Siberia, striking more than 40 warplanes thousands of kilometres from its own territory, a security official said.
The claims could not be independently verified. But if confirmed, the attacks would mark Ukraine’s most damaging drone strike of the war to date, amid an escalation in cross-border incursions before planned peace talks in Istanbul on Monday. Ukrainian security services are carrying out a large-scale special operation aimed at destroying enemy bombers far from the front, in Russia,” the official was quoted by Agence France-Presse as saying, adding a fire had broken out at the targeted Belaya airbase.
