Kentucky state Sen. Robin Webb ditched the Democrat Party and joined the Republican Party, noting that the state’s Democrat Party “has increasingly alienated lifelong rural Democrats” like her.
In a press release from the Republican Party of Kentucky, it was revealed that Webb, who represents Senate District 18, was switching her party affiliation to Republican. Webb also noted that while it might be cliché, the Democrat Party left her and “no longer” represented her values.
“While it’s cliché, it’s true: I didn’t leave the party — the party left me,” Webb said in a statement. “The Kentucky Democratic Party has increasingly alienated lifelong rural Democrats like myself by failing

If the British coined the term “too clever by half,” Vice President JD Vance might own the political update of “too smart by 99%.”
And Donald Trump might wonder at what point he asks his veep: please stop helping — at least when it comes to Trump’s greatest legacy and biggest asset, the Supreme Court.
Vance recently offered his own take on the “role” of that body, in particular Chief Justice John Roberts’ “profoundly wrong sentiment” that the judiciary exists to “check the excesses of the executive.”
The vice president finger-wagged that this was “one-half” of the job; the “other half” was to stop a “small but substantial number”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth urged Indo-Pacific allies Saturday to up their defense spending — but assured them the US has their back as they face an “imminent” threat from China.
In a keynote address at a security summit in Singapore, the Pentagon chief urged the allies to do their part in spending up to 5% of their GDP on bolstering security, while also noting that Chinese President Xi Jinping “has ordered his military to be capable of invading Taiwan by 2027.”
“Beijing is credibly preparing to potentially use military force to alter the balance of power in the Indo-Pacific,” Hegseth said at the Shangri-La Dialogue.

A Secret Service whistleblower claims that former President Joe Biden was so out of it at the White House that he would “get lost in his closet,” Sen. Josh Hawley revealed Friday.
The stunning level of disorientation is an example of why the Democratic cover-up of Biden’s mental decline is one of the biggest scandals in presidential history, Hawley argued.
“This Secret Service whistleblower actually was assigned to Biden,” the Missouri Republican told Fox News host Sean Hannity.
“He told me that Biden used to get lost in his closet in the mornings at the White House,” Hawley claimed,

At the very start of what was supposed to be a weeklong space mission, NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore had to wonder if they’d ever make it back to the Earth’s surface.
As Williams and Wilmore approached the International Space Station last year, the thrusters on their Boeing Starliner capsule gave out, leaving the spacecraft unable to move forward.
When they realized they might not be able to dock on the ISS, a frightening — and as it turned out, prophetic — thought entered their minds.
“If we weren’t able to dock, would we be able to make it back [to Earth]?,” Wilmore told the BBC. “We didn’t know.”

As previously noted, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley released some of the FBI investigative files related to a congressional referral of Nellie Ohr for false testimony to congress. Within the Grassley release the declassified FBI investigative notes show that Trump-Russia files were compartmentalized, allowing control over access to them by the FBI Director and FBI Deputy Director.
The 7th floor level classification within the FBI’s Sentinel record-keeping system was previously unknown, and now people are starting to ask questions about what other information may be filed yet invisible due to the classification designation of “Prohibited Access.”

Since Trump began his second term, Britain has become a political escape hatch for American celebrities and wealthy Democrats.
It’s so popular that last week, the British Home Office released data showing that in the 12 months leading up to March, almost 7,000 US citizens applied to become British subjects or live here indefinitely — the highest number since such records began in 2004.
A third of those applications have been received since Trump took office at the start of 2025.

WASHINGTON — The Biden administration admitted possible cancer-causing toxins were spread in East Palestine, Ohio, following the Norfolk Southern train derailment in 2023, explosive new emails show, despite the White House insisting residents were safe.
“The occurrence of a cancer-cluster in EP [East Palestine] is not zero,” FEMA recovery leader James McPherson wrote in a March 29, 2024, email to other public health officials — a little more than a year after the crash.
“As you all are aware, the first 48 hours of the fire created a really toxic plume,” he said in the chain of communications, which were first reported by News Nation.

An illegal alien gang member who’d been detained since the Biden era was finally deported this month, but that’s now evidently a problem.
The illegal alien, alleged “former” MS-13 gang banger Jordin Melgar-Salmeron, was detained by immigration officials in 2022 after he completed a prison sentence for being in possession of an unregistered, sawed-off shotgun, according to The New York Times.
Melgar-Salmeron then lingered in detainment as the Biden administration put his case on hold. Once the Trump administration took over, they immediately sought to end the hold.

The interviewer asked the former daytime talk show host, “I was delighted to see you pop up on “Hacks” recently as well, playing yourself. Any other comedies you’re thinking about joining?”
O’Donnell responded by saying other projects have been in the pipeline, however the current occupant of the White House puts her off:

As Breitbart News reported, the new Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) was launched to provide an alternative to the UN, which either fails to deliver trucks of aid or allegedly lets Hamas steal the supplies.
Hamas then keeps the aid (especially fuel) for itself, sells the aid on the black market, or makes Palestinians pay inflated prices for it.

In the olden days, the world was run on a feudal system. There were a handful of mostly inter-related nobles who lived in palaces, wore fancy clothes, and ate sumptuous food. They were served by a large class of serfs who did the unpleasant things like digging latrines, plowing fields, slaughtering animals, tanning leather, and all of the other work needed for the nobles to live in luxury. In return, the nobles kept the serfs from starving but generally oppressed them and sometimes did so gratuitously for their own amusement.

Imagine if Kamala Harris had won.
Imagine what we wouldn’t know. Imagine what wouldn’t have happened. Imagine the jobs never created, the energy never unleashed, the borders never secured, the enemies never deterred, and the schools never reformed.
Now imagine what has happened under President Trump’s return to the White House—and ask yourself just how much better off we really are.
In just the first 100 days of Trump’s second term, the U.S. economy added over 345,000 jobs. That’s not bureaucratic inflation either—more than half were created in heavy-lift sectors like mining, construction, and manufacturing. Remember those? The industries Harris promised to “transition away from” with a smile and a bullet-pointed climate plan.

In Minneapolis’ consent decree suicide I wrote of the consent decree that Biden’s Handler’s Administration, in the waning days of that corrupt administration, tried to impose on the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD). If enacted, it would have branded the MPD as systemically racist and made it all but impossible to do its job, particularly where minority criminals were concerned. It would have allowed the federal DOJ, through a monitor hired at some $750,000 per year, to daily micromanage the MPD. Such consent decrees are essentially eternal. Implementation and paperwork mandates would have cost Minneapolis far more than a mere $750,000 per year.

At the outset, let me state my bona fides. I voted for Trump three times. I publicly supported his candidacy back when the media deemed him and his supporters like me stupid racists.
That was back when “Trump is literally Hitler” was the meme of the moment amongst the kind of people who don’t know the meaning of Hitler and don’t know the meaning of “literally.” Which is to say, most of the current mainstream media.
For the record, Trump is not Hitler, not literally or metaphorically, nor is he a fascist.

Newly declassified documents from a 2019 FBI analysis released on May 28, 2025 show that Nellie Ohr allegedly “knowingly“ provided false testimony under oath to Congress about her actions related to the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Ohr was a Fusion GPS contractor who provided research and intel in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, played a central role in pushing for declassification of the analysis.
An analysis of the documents concluded that Ohr’s statements obstructed congressional investigations and violated federal statutes 18 USC §1001 (false statements) and 18 USC §1505 (obstruction of proceedings before departments, agencies, and congressional committees).

Illinois’s Democrat governor, J.B. Pritzker, is about to sign a new bill into law that will allow illegal immigrants to become driving instructors. From Peoria’s NBC affiliate:
A proposal that’s passed both chambers would allow some immigrants to become driving instructors in Illinois. In the state, non U.S. citizens can apply for a special drivers license called a Temporary Visitor Drivers License or TVDL.
You might ask, “Where did that TVDL come from?” We’ve had a Democrat-controlled state legislature since 2003, and they currently have supermajorities in both chambers. Except for a single-term RINO governor in 2015–18, we’ve also had 100% Democrat governors since 2003.

A few Democratic officeholders, activists, and pundits are finally coming to their senses that their brand is toxic to a majority of the American people.
The Biden administration killed what was left of it in a number of ways. First, it serially lied to Americans about the cognitive decline and cancerous condition of President Joe Biden, both while in and after office.
Only when caught did the complicit media fess up that the Biden inner circle serially misled the American people about Biden's inability to fulfill the duties of the presidency.
Second, left-wing politicos used Biden as a waxen effigy. His job was to pose as a "moderate"

CBS News thinks the crown jewel of its news division is "60 Minutes," the alleged gold standard of investigative journalism on television. But when it comes to politics, their coverage isn't just slanted. It's more like a wrecked bus laying on its side, wheels spinning in the air.
Their stilted editing of a Kamala Harris interview weeks before the election caused Donald Trump to sue last year over the potential harm to his candidacy. By that standard, Trump could sue lots of newscasters and documentarians who slice and dice presidential contenders to try and persuade voters.

How much longer are we going to tolerate American judges kneecapping American interests from behind the bench?
In the latest act of judicial self-sabotage, a federal appeals court has decided that President Donald J. Trump—yes, the duly elected President of the United States—isn’t allowed to impose tariffs to protect American industries unless he gets permission slips from every international trade lobby and globalist think tank in D.C. The ruling, which found that Trump’s steel tariffs on foreign-made derivatives exceeded his presidential authority, is not only wrong on the law—it’s disastrous for the future of American self-governance.

Planned Parenthood celebrates the fact that it aborted – slaughtered – 402,230 babies last year, according to its latest report. That’s over 1,100 lives a day – the most ever. Last year, taxpayers were forced to give another three-quarters of a billion dollars to the abortion giant – almost $800 million. That’s nearly $2.2 million of our tax dollars every single day. It appears life is good for Planned Parenthood post-Dobbs, a case in which we filed helping overturn Roe v. Wade. Now it’s time to stop funding the abortion industry once and for all. Join us by adding your name to our petition: Defund Planned Parenthood Now.

At least 10 hospital executives from Nassau University Medical Center, including its CEO, have put in their resignations in response to what they called a “hostile takeover” by Gov. Kathy Hochul, according to sources in the hospital.
CEO Meg Ryan confirmed to The Post that she and other leaders in the hospital have resigned effective in July, so that they can help oversee the hospital board’s transition, she revealed.
“[New York State] has made it very clear that they do not want me to be in the CEO role,” Ryan told The Post about her decision to step down. “It was the hardest decision I had to make in my career.”

Andrew Cuomo was dealt another blow by the city’s campaign finance watchdog, which dinged him another $675,000 Friday over suspicions his mayoral campaign improperly coordinated with a super PAC.
The New York City Campaign Finance Board has now denied the former governor a total of $1.3 million in public matching funds — which could hamper the frontrunner as the June 24 Democratic primary approaches and surging socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani nips at his heels.
The ex-gov first lost out on around $622,000 in matching funds last month when the CBC said it believed a TV ad was created by “Fix the City” —
