Nearing the Final Battle Against the Deep State

While numerous federal district court judges have issued ill-conceived restraining orders against the administration, I have long believed that it will prevail in its efforts to place control of the state in the hands of the elected executive, away from the deep state bureaucracy and its black-robed judicial allies. As the litigation of these matters proceeds, I think my belief will be justified. We will return to a constitutional republican form of government. For a day-to-day look at the progress of these multiple cases,

I find it not just ironic but also deeply satisfying that this final battle and imminent victory against the deep state has been brought to a climax by the very TDS excesses, including the absurd lawfare, that the deep state has used in their vain attempt to destroy President Trump. His heroic efforts have been literally epic and will go down in history as one of the greatest achievements in the protection of this country and its Constitution.

Please next launch a full out attack on the Deep State's sources of foreign money and domestic billionaire lucre. The Deep State is just like a cancer - if you shut off the blood supply (money), the organism will expire. (In the article Clarice mentioned the late P.J. O'Rourke. America lost one of its greatest wits when he died... he is sorely missed.)

Clarice is always a must-read but this one is packed extra-full of facts that are tied together by brilliant writing. The light at the end of this tunnel is getting brighter and more promising for us but is definitely a speeding train coming toward the Deep State and the dirty democrats that keep the destruction going. Putting a bridle on the CIA is a must-do because they are the same as they have been since 1947, secretive, manipulative and never honest about it. They need to be visible to be kept in line. One huge job that will make that possible and also allow better AI to be applied across the government's data and actions will be the standardization of computers and data bases across all agencies. That's a one-line item on the to-do list but will take decades to accomplish. Many of those systems were developed when Microsoft was just a dream in some nerd's head.

Clarice's piece is a pretty summary of the current state of play with respect to the deep state battle. So far, the battle is being fought in the political domain, the msm, social media, and now the courts. Will it stay that way? Who knows. It is worth your time to play Brett Baier's interview with Elon Musk. The link is imbedded in the article. The interview affords a pretty good glimpse of Elon, who he is, and his value system.

"the next target of DOGE is the CIA" Trump and Musk have brilliantly gone after the money, choking off the Left and Deep State. There has, unsurprisingly, been lawfare against their efforts. Trump has guided the process toward a culmination soon to come. As the CIA tries to fight back, they are likely to quickly face a wall of legal decisions that says Trump can do exactly as he wants to. The CIA will be pushed aside and exposed. There will likely be a wave of terminations and hopefully some arrests for criminal activity. ""Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer said" Trump has taken this warning to heart and has prepared for this confrontation and is going to win the battle. Schumer might wise up when he see that Trump has defeated all his foes including the "mighty" intelligence community, although what he might do with this knowledge is uncertain. Schumer's party, his media, and his Deep State lie in ruins and Trump is ascendant like almost no President before him. The dems control infrastructure has been irrevocably destroyed. Their credibility has been broken and continues to fade. Their "philosophy" of governance is been shown to be insanity. Their competence is a senile joke. Like Biden, they are wandering around on the stage of governance and can't figure out how to get off. There is no viable path forward for Schumer or the dems. They can stomp their feet and make a mess but not lead or govern. They have neither the temperament or the mindset to succeed.

I keep hoping and praying that this will continue to happen the way Clarice lays it out. Draining the Swamp has been a long term goal, and was blocked so much last time. It's looking like Trump and his team, particularly the DOGE guys are really gutting the red tape machine which made any real reform almost impossible, and gave the bureaucrats essentially unlimited power.

Senate Republicans continued their campaign Thursday to roll back stringent energy regulations that were issued during the final months of President Joe Biden’s term. The Senate voted 52-42 to repeal a Biden Department of Energy regulation banning some natural gas water heaters by 2029. The resolution now heads to President Donald Trump’s desk for signature. No Republican Senators voted against the repeal. House Republicans, led by Republican Alabama Rep. Gary Palmer, voted to repeal the gas water heater ban in February.

The Supreme Court has issued further guidance in the case of Salvadoran national Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, and while it doesn't fully affirm the district court ruling, it's rather a mixed bag as far as the Trump administration's position on the matter. For background, we'll refer back to Bonchie's initial reporting on the case: Following Judge Xinis' ruling, the administration filed an emergency application for stay with the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, which denied that application. The administration then filed an application with the Supreme Court requesting that the district court's injunction be vacated and seeking an immediate administrative stay. On Monday, Chief Justice John Roberts ordered that stay.

A tony New Jersey city is considering approving a controversial new ordinance that would fine or jail homeless people found sleeping in public spaces. Summit Councilman Jamel Boyer, a Republican, introduced the ordinance last Tuesday, claiming it serves to “preserve the safe and accessible use of public property for all residents, pedestrians and businesses.” The ordinance in Summit would prohibit the homeless from camping in public areas, including parks, sidewalks, alleyways, and benches. If approved, anyone found violating the ordinance would face a fine of up to $2,000 “and/or imprisonment or community service for a term not to exceed ninety days,” the order says. If these Muslim "scholars" really want to help their Palestinian brothers, they should be calling on Hamas to release all the Israeli hostages they kidnapped, then to disarm, and then to stop pursuing the disastrous path of terrorism and jihad. The "scholars" leading the IUMS live safely in Qatar, not in the Gaza Strip, and they are therefore not directly affected by the war that Hamas launched. Each time Iran's regime finds itself under pressure, it calls for talks. The goal, however, is never to reach a real agreement. The goal is to delay. NBC has driven dozens of articles, pundit claims and discussion segments from their “transcription” of a recorded phone interview with President Trump. However, no actual audio of the interview is presented. President Trump weaves through interviews in his answers, providing context, tone, inflection and detail for each point of a conversation he is answering. It is the context that surrounds the “quote” that becomes important when understanding what the president says.

The U.S. and China have escalated a new trade war by raising tariffs even as U.S. President Donald Trump hit a pause on tariffs for other countries. China notably had said it would fight the American tariffs with its own countermeasures, calling Trump’s actions “economic bullying,” which led Trump to retaliate by continuously hiking up tariffs this week. Trump’s universal tariffs on China total 145%. When Trump announced Wednesday that China faced 125% tariffs, he did not include a 20% tariff on China tied to its role in fentanyl production.
