The 'Snow White' Review: Every One of
Disney's Bad Habits in One Film - but
It's Worse Than Even That

I walked into my local Alamo Drafthouse to see the new live-action Disney "Snow White" film with the full expectation of it being not as bad as I hyped it up in my mind to be. I've been covering the events around this movie with great interest because I truly believe this film has become a cultural turning point, not just for Disney, but for the entire entertainment industry. It's a clear example of what not to do when creating, promoting, and releasing a film, and as I recently covered on my YouTube channel, the drama surrounding lead actress Rachel Zegler was so destructive

Comments:

Jeez! Even "Plan 9 from Outer Space" had a cult following! Sounds like THIS stink bomb is even worse than that!!

I know just enough about this movie to point out that Snow White is named that not because of her milky skin but rather she was born in a snowstorm.

Given that Gal Gadot is 1000X hotter than Rachel Zegler and yet allegedly concerned that the Zegler is the "fairest in the land" is enough for me to avoid it. That said, how Gadot avoided killing Zegler when Zegler spouted "Free Palestine" randomly at their one joint interview makes me amazed at how strong and professional a woman Gadot is. I'd have decked Zegler.

Snapshots of Disney stock price per share 5 year high March 2021 ~$200 Low after big drop July 2022 ~$95 Recent high March 2024 ~122 Recent fall (starting ~1 month ago) March 2025 ~$100 Not surprisingly, Disney has fallen and they can't get up. They suffer from the arrogance of the Left, that they can do whatever they want and pay no consequences for it. Media in general is dying from this disease of the entitled.

Personally, I haven't had this much entertainment from a new Disney movie in over thirty years. I just can't read enough articles, or see enough videos, of the scathing reviews. The rap song made out of "X" comments is my current favorite. The original "Snow White", the first movie-length cartoon, catapulted the Disney Studio into the big leagues alongside Columbia, MGM, and United Artists. It's rather ironic that the live-action, woke remake will be its downfall. Perhaps it's God's sense of humor, or even at the request of Walt Disney himself.

Disney would have made more money if they made the original HD and released it in theaters with a $5 matinee ticket price. Market it to mothers and daughter's nostalgia, but no, have to muck it up instead.

The liberal media is having yet another meltdown over the Trump administration, this time concerning a Signal chat group that inadvertently included The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg. However, there's something about this entire situation that doesn't seem quite right. The facts are straightforward: A Signal chat group containing high-level Trump administration officials was compromised when Goldberg was mysteriously added to the conversation. Who put him there? National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, who coordinated the chat, says he did not add Goldberg. “I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but of all the people out there, somehow this guy who has lied about the president, who has lied to Gold Star families, lied to their attorneys,

Vice President JD Vance visited Marine Corps Base Quantico on Wednesday, where troops met him with a warm welcome. During his visit, he delivered a speech, spent time with service members, and engaged in hands-on activities that highlighted his deep ties to the military. After addressing the Marines, Vance stepped behind the counter to serve lunch before heading to the range, where he fired an M27, M107, and M240B, along with an inert Howitzer and a drone. How many times have we heard leftists clamor that Donald Trump won’t leave the White House when his term is up? How often do we hear Democrats cry that Republicans won’t accept the outcome of elections when they lose? The reality is the opposite. The vast majority of the left acts as if it can’t accept that Donald Trump won the 2024 election. Activist judges try to thwart his administration’s efforts at every turn, and Democrats continue the rhetoric that somehow Trump is an illegitimate president despite the GOP’s margin of victory. Now we’re seeing this behavior pop up in the United States Commission on Civil Rights.

The US agency responsible for unaccompanied migrant children will be able to share the immigration status of the kids’ sponsors with law enforcement under the Trump administration — in a move that officials say will protect kids from trafficking and exploitation. It’s coming up on five months since their epic defeat last November, and Democrats from New York to Texas to California are only getting nuttier. Start here in Gotham, where City Councilman and comptroller hopeful Justin Brannan (D-Brooklyn) wants to divest city pensions of Tesla stock. Not because it’s a bad investment (it’s up more than 22,000% all time, though down of late) but because “Elon Musk is deadly for democracy.” In other words, screw the retired cop or teacher seeing good returns, and/or the taxpayers who’ll have to make good if the fund falls short; screw the green-car movement Tesla supercharged: Elon Musk baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!

Leftist judges want to turn President Donald Trump into a president in name only. Look at all the ways that individual judges have hamstrung the Trump administration. A district court judge recently blocked President Trump’s executive order removing transgender individuals from the military. Another judge ordered the Trump administration to send two men who are pretending to be women into a women’s prison. One federal judge ordered the administration to restore government webpages that promote the left’s transgender narrative. A different district court judge stopped the Trump administration from disbanding the wasteful USAID. Secretary of State Marco Rubio appointed Jeremy Lewin to a high-level position in USAID.

Orders for durable goods rose far above expectations in February, climbing 0.9 percent to $289.3 billion, according to the Commerce Department’s report released Wednesday. Economists had forecast a 1.0 percent decline, but instead, businesses continued to invest heavily in big-ticket items, particularly automobiles, computers, and machinery. Even excluding transportation, which can be volatile due to large aircraft orders, new orders increased by 0.7 percent, exceeding the forecast of a 0.3 percent gain. The strength of the overall durable goods orders report is further demonstrated by robust gains in key categories. Auto orders were notably strong, with orders for motor vehicles and parts rising 4.0 percent.

Goldman’s statement is especially curious given Democrat’s campaign of lawfare and weaponization against Donald Trump. “This is the political weaponization of the DOJ. Trump uses his official authority to defend his benefactor Elon Musk,” Rep. Goldman oddly claimed of the Trump administration investigating an actual series of crimes in a Tuesday X post. Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) on Wednesday introduced legislation to codify President Donald Trump’s executive order shuttering the Department of Education. President Trump’s executive action, signed last week, calls for the dismantling of the Department of Education, which was created during the administration of former President Jimmy Carter in 1979. However, an act of Congress is required to codify the department’s closure into law, so Rep. Ogles has introduced the Make Education Great Again Act to this end. “This bill will ensure that Congress permits President Trump’s directive to close the Department and that any cuts made by the Secretary are authorized,” an emailed summary of the measure reads.

A divided federal appeals court panel ruled Wednesday that the Trump administration could not immediately use the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to quickly deport suspected members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. The 2-1 ruling was handed down two days after a contentious hearing before the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, in which the Justice Department tried to lift a 14-day stay imposed by DC US District Judge James Boasberg. During the hearing, Judge Patricia Millett harshly questioned the Trump Justice Department about its handling of the deportations — at one point saying, “Nazis got better treatment under the Alien Enemies Act [during World War II] than has happened here.”

While other agencies have moved to eliminate the “illegal and immoral programs” targeted in Trump’s day-one executive order, NIH is still funding over $1.3 billion in active grants that include DEI components — from race-based hiring schemes to “anti-racist” training initiatives and diversity-first faculty pipelines.
