The Atlantic's editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg refused to reveal the status of the phone he was using when the Trump Administration added him to a top secret war plans group text. [Snip] He also told Darcy he was not concerned about retaliation from federal authorities for publishing some of the messages. [Snip] ...he is considering releasing more of the group chat messages. 'My colleagues and I and the people who are giving us advice on this have some interesting conversations to have about this,' Goldberg told Tim Miller on the Bulwark Podcast. 'But just because they're irresponsible with material, doesn't mean that I'm going to be irresponsible.'

Oh, for God's sake. This all we're going to hear about from the corrupt media for the next 60 years. It's worse than Watergate. Have they given it a cute nickname yet? How about Crossed Signals', Busy Signal? In 6 months Goldberg will have a book out about how 'brave' he was, how he was in fear for his life but went ahead as he exposed the corruption of the Trump administration as they betrayed our country. A year from now the movie from the book will be released to a smashing premiere with all the A-list actors and sold out crowds.

Isn't it just like the DMUK to begin with a big lie? It has not been proven that the Trump administration added Goldberg to the list of recipients; they still don't know how it was done. He may have been on there all during the Biden administration and enjoying his flow of information, which was probably a bunch of transgender discussions.

I'm still curious about the legality of what this pi*p did. If I find a bag of money that fell off of a Brinks truck, it's not mine. If a bank accidentally deposits somebody's million dollars into my account, it's not mine. If I accidentally text my password to the wrong person and they get into my account, they don't get to keep whatever they find. No doubt Goldtu*d has checked all the legalities, so I guess it's a nonissue ....

Goldberg's, Miller's, "The Atlantic's" and "The Bulwark's" only reason for being ("raison d'etre") is their hatred of Donald Trump and MAGA people; so anything that they say is going to be to advance their agenda of hatred, and therefore worthless as a source for actual truth or news.

The aid that forwarded the mislabeled contact to Waltz needs to be polygraphed. Did he ever legitimately make or receive a call to Jeffery Goldberg at the number in his contact list? If he never had any contact with Goldberg, then his phone was hacked by someone who could access his contact list. The odds that he "accidentally" transposed the correct contact number to that of the most virulent anti-Trump editor at the anti-Trump Atlantic magazine is zero.

If there's an issue with "un-inviting" Goldberg from this group chat, then the solution is quite simple: Seize Goldberg's phone. The FBI can do it, citing the precedent of seizing Mike Lindell's cell phone at 6 AM in the morning when Lindell was in the drive-thru line at a McDonald's in a rural Minnesota town awaiting his breakfast before embarking on what was supposed to be a day off for fishing. Lindell had to recover from deprived of the phone he used to run his whole business. I'm sure Goldberg is doing far less with his phone.

On March 7, I argued in The Federalist that President Donald Trump should ignore a Supreme Court that would allow lower courts to refuse to uphold the Constitution and instead encroach on executive authority. [Snip] They do not check executive power--they seize it, substituting judicial preference for the president’s constitutional role. Article II gives Trump, not judges, authority over federal agencies and the military. [Snip] If Congress will not curb this overreach through impeachment--and with a divided Senate it likely cannot--the president must step in.
