As Catholics around the world celebrate Lent, the Vatican, under the stewardship of radical leftist Pope Francis, wants to make sure that Ramadan is at the forefront.
In a Ramadan message to Muslims, authored by Prefect George Jacob Cardinal Koovakad and Secretary Msgr. Indunil Kodithuwakku Janakaratne Kankanamalage, the Vatican highlighted that the two religious seasons seasons coinciding is “a unique opportunity to walk, side by side.”
The message, addressed to the Church’s ‘Muslim brothers and sisters,’ reads, “At the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue offers you its warmest greetings and friendship. This time of

President Donald Trump created a task force for both the 2025 FIFA World Cup and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, both of which will take place in the United States.
This task force will be under the guidance of the Department of Homeland Security, and it was created to “showcase the Nation’s pride and hospitality while promoting economic growth and tourism.”
Trump signed the executive order that created the task force alongside the presence of Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA.
The United States will be co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Mexico and Canada.

Many documents signed by President Joe Biden were done so using an autopen,
according to a new report by an arm of the
conservative Heritage Foundation, sparking
questions over who was pulling the strings
during the former president's four years in
office.
'Whoever Controlled the Autopen Controlled the Presidency,' the Oversight Project wrote in a post on X on Thursday.
'We gathered every document we could find with Biden's signature over the course of his presidency. All used the same autopen signature except for the announcement that the former President was dropping out of the race last year,' it continued.

Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James, along with a coalition of 17 state attorneys general, announced a legal challenge Friday against the Trump administration’s decision to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Venezuelans.
The plaintiffs filed an amicus brief in federal court challenging the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) decision to terminate TPS for Venezuelans. The program, established by Congress in 1990, provides temporary protection and work authorization to individuals deemed unsafe due to conflict, disaster or extraordinary conditions. In 2021, Congress extended this designation to Venezuelan nationals.

Gurpreet Singh was handcuffed, his legs shackled and a chain tied around his waist. He was led on to the tarmac in Texas by US Border Patrol, towards a waiting C-17 military transport aircraft.
It was 3 February and, after a months-long journey, he realised his dream of living in America was over. He was being deported back to India. "It felt like the ground was slipping away from underneath my feet," he said.
Gurpreet, 39, was one of thousands of Indians in recent years to have spent their life savings and crossed continents to enter the US illegally through its southern border, as they sought to escape an unemployment crisis back

Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency continues to rip through the federal bureaucracy. Certainly, the backlash is growing, but given the size of the U.S. debt, it is either austerity now on our terms or a far more chaotic accounting later. There will be pain. When Greece faced austerity in 2010, its economy shrank by a quarter, and unemployment exceeded 30%. Within a few years, its economy was growing, as was per capita income. The same crowds who protested the center-right for cuts now reward it for restarting Greece’s economic engine.
While many Americans may complain about efforts to return fiscal responsibility to government and to jump-start the economy by reducing

A Palestinian activist who led the disruptive anti-Israel protests at both Columbia University and Barnard College has been arrested by ICE agents at his campus apartment, according to his lawyer.
Mahmoud Khalil, a former graduate student who got his undergraduate degree in Beirut and completed his studies at Ivy League Columbia in December, also reportedly faces having his visa revoked and his green card canceled following President Trump’s crackdown on unrest at colleges.
He was inside his university-owned apartment a few blocks from campus Saturday night when ICE agents entered the residence and took him into custody, attorney Amy Greer told AP.

America’s favorite socialist politician has been caught with her hand in the cookie jar.
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been secretly charging taxpayers thousands of dollars for dance lessons and lavish parties at Mexican restaurants.
The popular X account Paul A. Syzpula did some digging into AOC’s expenses and found that she spent $850 on “training” from a dance company and $3384 at a Mexican restaurant in Virginia.
Syzpula also established that AOC had at least 22 people working for her between October and December 2024, at a cost of nearly half a million dollars.
