Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he wanted the US to "stand more firmly on our side" after a fiery White House exchange with US President Donald Trump on Friday. After arriving in the UK to take part in a European leaders' summit, Zelensky urged the US to continue its support for Ukraine despite "the tough dialogue" between the two sides. (Snip) Earlier, Zelensky published a thread of 14 posts on X in which he reiterated calls for US security guarantees to form part of any "just and lasting" peace deal to end the war with Russia. It’s pretty elementary that Trump and crew cannot go around badmouthing Putin and the Russians and expect that Putin is going to negotiate with Trump as the intermediary between the Russian and the Ukrainian sides.

Zelenskyy wants U.S. money to keep flowing in. More importantly, he desires ground troops from anybody and NATO membership. He'll walk away, rightfully, with none of these.

The U.S. should not get exposed to a war with Russia by putting any troops in Ukraine, or providing any security guarantees, and should not finance anything further with Ukraine. The EU and UK can do what they want, but without the USA.

I continue to believe that the real reason Biden was all in on Ukraine was to protect Hunter. Ukraine has all of the goods on the Bidens. Z has zero leverage on Trump. Actually, less than zero. Zelensky could have spilled the beans on Biden thus eliminating the first Trump impeachment.

Sorry Z, The US has done its part. Ask Europe. Ask the rest of Asia. Ask all the countries that were slaves of Russia. You cannot ask the US to solely shoulder this burden. There needs to be a military deterrent. There needs to be a political deterrent. Btw, it's not just Russia. There needs to be a deterrent to China and Iran.

What a sick liar this piece of dog excrement is. He is telling us he wants more money only then he will be able to see that we are firmly behind him. Really? I guess that's why he was hugging and kissing the Brit PM. 'You know the US visit went really well. I yanked Trump down and now they will offer us more money again.' Did you notice the puny amount Starmer announced that they will give the Ukrainian dog?? Rubio announced that the US will stop aid for their power grid. Good. Now remove anything else that was given this greedy swine. Let's see how the Euro trash will react when they find out all the demands that he has. I hope President Trump will the decline the royal 'invitation' and not have this Ukrainian animal see the inside of the WH again if ever for a long time. This smells to high heaven how our president was to be used. Never thought the Brits would stoop this low.

Half a $ TRILLION and you are barely holding your own after 3 years. And you want more money and would love to see American boots on the ground. And we are being told that at least $ 100 million is unaccounted for. I don't think so. FJB is no longer there to shovel more $ your way. He is no longer getting kickback checks on this deal and President Trump cannot be bought. Ask the EU. The American bank is closed.

He thinks he's still in control. Maybe he offered to tell all the dirt he has on the Bidens in exchange for more money. Trump doesn't care about the Bidens. No one does. We're just glad to see them gone. He should not get one more cent from this country and he owes us a bunch of minerals to repay us.

Once you're out of the way, it may be possible. You were a plant from Day One. The more that I read about Ukraine and US/NATO involvement in that place over the last 30+ years, the more skeptical and ambivalent I become over who is who, and what is what. Do your own research, gang, and come to your own conclusions. One thing that I am convinced of is that Trump and J.D. did it right.

Note that many European leaders rallied behind Z. Did they give him money or boots on the ground? The article did not say that the UK "gave" him money. It says they "loaned" him money for the war. So why wasn't all the money and equipment that the US has given him considered a loan? As #6 stated, Biden was giving him money and anything else he wanted because he was protecting Hunter. I've thought all along that Z was blackmailing Biden because of all the dirt Z had on Hunter. I expect Biden was also getting a kickback of 10% for the Big Guy too.
